Le langage des images et des sons (éditions DIXIT)

Les valeurs de plans :

- Le plan d'ensemble / plan de situation (paysage, décor,...) : permet de repérer, de situer  la scène, l'action. On n'accorde peu d'importance aux personnages. C'est la géographie qui nous intéresse.

- Le plan moyen : Le personnage est filmé entièrement (de la tête aux pieds). L'expression corporelle du personnage joue, ici, un rôle important (mouvements, déplacements).

Plus on se rapproche d'un personnage, plus l'attention du spectateur est suscitée.

- Le plan américain : le personnage est filmé à mi-cuisse (dans les westerns, ce cadrage permettait de montrer les pistolets).

- Le gros plan : permet d'obtenir un grand nombre de détails. Porter l'attention du spectateur sur l'intimité du personnage, créer le suspens ou faire remarquer un objet.

Le cadrage :

- Le champ / le cadre : le personnage est dans le cadre, le plan. Il est dans le champ.

- Le hors-champ / le hors-cadre : le personnage sort de l'image, du plan. Il est hors-champ.

La composition :

" Cadrer une image, c'est placer la caméra, personnages et objets de telle manière qu'ils racontent déjà, par leur positionnement dans l'espace, une partie de l'histoire que l'on veut représenter".

Le langage des images et des sons (éditions DIXIT)

- La plongée : La caméra est placée au-dessus de quelque chose. Ce cadrage peut donner un sentiment d'oppression, d'isolement, d'écrasement, donner une valeur descriptive, une vue globale ou encore faire appel à la religion (Dieu).

- La contre-plongée : La caméra est placée au sol, en-dessous de quelque chose. L'objet / le personnage est comme magnifié, agrandi.

- La profondeur de champ : il existe trois niveaux de plans : le premier plan / L'avant plan, le milieu du plan / le second plan et l'arrière plan.

Image floue devant et derrière mais nette au milieu = Peu de profondeur de champ. Peu de profondeur de champ permet de mettre en valeur quelque chose.

Nette à tous les niveaux = beaucoup de profondeur de champ. Beaucoup de profondeur de champ permet de voir plusieurs actions se dérouler en même temps et ainsi enrichir le contenu de l'image.

Le changement de mise au point / changement de point de vue : utilisé davantage en fiction, comme technique dramaturgique, le changement de mise au point permet de créer du suspens (faire découvrir un personnage). Mais il est toutefois difficile de lui donner une valeur précise car la vitesse d'obturation, des éléments dans le cadre entrent en jeu .

L'éclairage : - permet de définir le climat, l'atmosphère que produit une scène.

- met en lumière ou non quelque chose ( influence le côté esthétisme du sujet filmé)

Les objectifs : la focale normale : c'est la vision de l'oeil quoiqu'il est reste plus réduit. La focale normale permet de donner un sentiment de réalisme.

le grand angle : sa particularité est de distordre les images filmées près de l'objectif. Les objets rapprochés paraissent très larges, et les objets éloignés petits (une petite pièce paraît plus grande, un visage proche parait monstrueux).

Dans un lieux peu éclairé, utilisez plutôt un grand angle pour apporter plus de lumière.

Caméra à la main ou à l'épaule, utilisez là aussi le grand angle qui vous assure plus de stabilité.

Longue focale / téléobjectif : permet de voir quelque chose situé à une longue distance. Les longues focales compressent la perspective. Le téléobjectif rapproche les gens et les objets entre eux, à la différence du grand angle.

Le zoom : passage rapide de l'image d'un objectif à un autre.

Le zoom avant : passage du grand angle au téléobjectif (le spectateur va vers l'objet désiré).

Le zoom arrière : passage du téléobjectif au grand angle.

Les mouvements de caméra :

Le travelling (avant/ arrière/ vertical / horizontal / de bas en haut) : déplacement de la caméra dans l'espace (le travelling avant permet de rentrer dans l'action d'un film, de suivre un personnage, ...) .

Le panoramique : la caméra est immobile. Le panoramique correspond aux déplacements de sa tête.

La caméra objective : la caméra se trouve à la place du spectateur. C'est le point de vue d'une personne extérieure à la scène. Elle permet de donner un sentiment de recul.

La caméra subjective : La caméra se met à la place d'un personnage. Ce que nous voyons, c'est le point de vue du personnage. La caméra est située à la place de sa tête, de ses yeux. Le spectateur vit l'action comme s'il y était.

This camera is easy to use, and the pics are great. I use it to photo my original artwork to send off for prints. The color density and sharpness is noticably improved from my older Easyshare.

A great camera to use from everyday pictures to doing serious landscape photography. Love the crispness of the lens. The lens produces excellent true to life colors with virtually no distortion or chromatic aberration. A very easy menu on the camera to navigate and use. You can't go wrong purchasing this camera and you will be glad you did. I now reach for this baby more often than not instead of my DSLR Olympus Evolt 330 in many photo situations except when I do bird photography ,then I use the DSLR. The camera produces razor sharp images,true to life colors,easy to use ,the image stabilization works beautifully and is a joy to use.The right choice for doing serious photography without lugging around a DSLR or maybe the Budget does'nt allow a DSLR system right now.Just a beautiful camera.

I have not had much time to learn all of the features, but I am very happy with my purchase. Being an X 35mm hobbyist, I enjoy having different options of control, from fully automatic to fully manual. It does eat up batteries, I am soon going to purchase some rechargeable. That brings me to another feature, the camera can use AA, rechargeable AA's, CRV3 and CRV3 rechargeable.

I have owned one Canon and two other Kodak cameras so I was expecting this one to be top of the line. What a disappointment!! This is the most money I have paid for a camera and the worst I have ever owned. The on/off switch sticks in the on position thus draining the battery. The auto focus is always adjusting so pictures are blurred. I have sent it back to the factory twice for repairs. Still just a piece of junk. I will never purchase another Kodak product. I will replace it with a NIKON.

Don't get influenced by the advertised high `10 mega-pixel' capacity of this camera. What you get for the price is a camera, lens cap, USB cable, a docking station `adapter', and a limited one-time use battery! When that's expired, you'll need to buy another, or invest in a rechargeable battery, and a charger.

It `does not' come with a rechargeable battery, nor a docking station to recharge a battery... that's `extra'. The docking station adapter that does come with the camera is for Kodak's Series 3 docking station, `sold separately', and in the $50.00 price range.

If you're like me, and want a docking station that recharges a battery, (and transfer images to a computer), a travel charger, and an extra spare battery, plan in throwing another $100.00 into this camera! And that's buying third party `compatible' batteries. If you want original Kodak batteries, plan on that figure going up even higher!

Also, what appears in the pictures to be a camera similar in size and shape to a standard 35mm camera, don't be fooled by that! This camera is `tiny', probably about 1/3 the size of a standard camera. While many may like smaller digital cameras, the picture is still very deceiving.

This camera was released in January 2008, and there still aren't very many accessories available for it. One possible desirable option is a 1.4 X tele-converter, manufactured by someone else, but shown through Kodak's web site, and only usable `after' you purchase an adapter from Kodak. But you best be sitting down when you look at the price! Don't know how a tele-converter would affect a digital camera, I know on film type cameras, they do cut way back on picture quality and resolution.

And Kodak's customer service `really' sucks! I called to find out the maximum capacity of a Secure Digital Card that can be used with this camera, as well as the maximum transfer rate that this camera can handle.

Yes friends, the camera doesn't come with any extra memory either! There's only 32 MB of internal memory available as it comes. So figure on spending anywhere from twenty to `eighty-five dollars', (on Kodak's web site), for a high capacity memory card, depending on the capacity of the card you want to use, and the transfer rate.

After about 4 hours on the telephone, with people that couldn't speak good English, or even understand English, I `think' I figured out what `might' work in this camera. Luckily I purchased memory cards from a dealer that will accept them back if they don't work in this camera.

Kodak's customer service conflicts with what little information they have on their own web site when it comes to such information. The `accessory' page on Kodak's site for this particular camera, only shows a 1 gig & 2 gig memory card available for this camera. However if you view `all' accessories, go to their memory cards, look at the 4 gig card, it will show it being compatible with this camera.

Customer service told me the 1 gig & 2 gig memory cards is what is recommended for this camera, and they can't guarantee that the 4 gig card would work, even though their web site says the 4 gig is compatible with this camera.

No mention of an 8 gig or 16 gig SD card that are now available on the market, and going down in price. One would think that Kodak would have thought ahead a little, and manufactured their new `10 mega-pixel' camera with the capacity of accepting the newest high capacity, high transfer rate memory cards.

It was a whole other story trying to find out the maximum transfer rate this camera could handle as well. Something important when shopping around for other manufacture's memory cards on the Internet, with each manufacture having different terminology with respect to transfer rates, and naturally to find the most, for the least.

I got my camera when Kodak was having a one-day, `two-hour' special promotion, for $199.99, and even at that price I was extremely disappointed at all the `extras' I had to purchase afterwards. The docking station, home & travel charger set, two `generic' rechargeable batteries, two memory cards, and I just threw another $150.00 into this camera.

If I would have known about all the extra money I had to add into this to make it a decent 'complete' camera, and all the time it cost me in finding out information that should have been on Kodak's web site, I would have never even considered this camera!

Can't comment on the 10 mega-pixel quality, ease of use, or any other features of the camera as I haven't even used it yet... Still waiting on my rechargeable batteries, and memory cards from other dealers.

Nu ştiu de unde ideea că monitoarele instalate în staţiile de metrou sunt bani aruncaţi aiurea, 2 milioane de euro. Oricum, nu Metrorex a cheltuit atât pentru voi, staţi calmi, şi pe bună dreptate, îi doare în fund. Au venit nişte tipi mai inteligenţi care numai de pierdut nu vor avea.

Atât timp cât nu există o alternativă la transportul de căcat din Bucureşti (la suprafaţă), rămâne să ne mulţumim cu unul de băşină, subteran. Iar acea alternativă NU va exista până (cel mai devreme) la sfârşitul acestul secol. Limita de jos a decenţei va fi atinsă şi ea destul de greu. Apropo, gândesc că România asta (în particular, Bucureştiul) TREBUIE să fie perfectă (sau pe undeva pe aproape), de unde vin problemele şi nemulţumirile nenumărate, nesimţite şi adesea nerezolvabile.

Ziceam că se plânge o lume întreagă că banii sunt cheltuiţi pe aparenţe. Avem monitoare de 122cm (ce contează dacă am greşit?) pe care vedem ştirile, horoscopul şi ce le-a mai trecut prin cap. Vă invit să ţineţi privirea în pământ (peron ar fi corect) când ajungeţi în staţie. Mă-ntreb câţi vor proceda aşa. :D E adevărat că ce au făcut nu e neapărat necesar, dar nici rău. Mie îmi place. În New York ori nu am văzut aşa ceva, ori nu-mi amintesc eu bine. Diferenţa constă în alte chestii mărunte şi, că tot am deschis subiectul, fac o comparaţie scurtă:

Au nişte aparate cu touchscreen (!!! :D ) de unde poţi să-ţi cumperi cartela. Unele acceptă card (!!!!!), altele doar cash. Restul este de maxim 6$ şi se dă în monede de 1$. Cartela se poate reîncărca şi este din P-L-A-S-T-I-C. Acum câteva luni, când eram în ţară, mi s-a întâmplat să mi se îndoaie banda aia neagră şi adio abonament. Fără o cercetare amănunţită, nu vedea nimeni că am fost în halul ăla de neglijent. Cu 5 zile înainte îl cumpărasem, iar acum eram nevoit să-l schimb. Bine, o vreme am discutat cu jandarmii de pe acolo şi mi-au permis să sar, deşi vizibil nemulţumiţi de solicitare. Apoi mi-am băgat picioarele şi am mai aruncat 11 lei (am reducere :P ).

Continuând, staţiile lor sunt multe, distanţa dintre ele mică - dar parcursă extrem de repede. Dacă trenul staţionează, vei fi anunţat prompt de motivele opririi. Se subînţelege că mecanici (plural!) îşi vor cere SCUZE. O singură excepţie am observat, atunci când s-a sinucis un tip. Trenul a staţionat 20 de minute la plecarea din Lexington Ave - 59th St în timp ce angajaţii MTA (Metrorex, în română) verificau creierul împrăştiat pe linie. Ce senzaţie ciudată: stai confortabil pe scaun în timp ce tipul de sub tine îşi varsă umplutura printr-o gaură fatal de mare. Plimbări dintr-un vagon în celălalt care au culminat cu o întrebare pe care o redau exact: "Din anybody see anything?". Investigaţii, ăia de la MTA se uitau sub vagon şamd. Nu s-a anunţat nimic atunci, repet. Călătorii din celelalte vagoane cred că au fost foarte iritaţi. :D

Şi acum bomba: au şi ei cerşetori la metrou! Reacţie imediată: hahaha, ce fraieri. Şi cea-mai-bombă: vara, te sufoci în staţiile alea. Nu ştiu de ce la noi atmosfera e plăcută, poate B. are dreptate, că roca. Mă declar ignorant şi sunt fericit cu asta.

Revenind la Zoom, thumbs up din partea mea. Sper să reziste cât mai multe ecrane cât mai multe luni, deşi sunt sceptic. Parcă deja sunt probleme, sau cred că este doar un zvon.

De ceasuri care arată când va veni următorul tren, nu e nevoie. Intervalul de succedare este de ~6 minute când nu circulă nimeni, ~9 minute în ore de vârf şi +10 minute în weekend. Cu staţionări mai adăugaţi, în medie, 1-2 minute -presupunând că nu sunt chiar atât de dese-. Nu văd vreo îmbunătăţire în următorii 5 ani.

Mai rămân boschetarii şi cerşetorii. Măcar nu sunt şi câini vagabonzi pe peron. De asemenea, exterminarea lor în termen de 5 ani e la fel de realistă ca începerea şi finalizarea magistralei Drumul Taberei - Universitate în tot atât timp. Voi scrie şi pe subiectul ăsta. Noi acum să uităm de toate şi să strigăm "ROMÂNIAAAA ROMÂNIAAAA [...]", că tot ne bate Franţa. Sau poate nu ne bate. Oricum, viaţa noastră nu se va îmbunătăţi nici cu 3 puncte, nici cu 0.

Now it is important to keep in mind, that a PTZ Camera will allow you to control the camera live, to zoom in on what is happening on your property, but you have to be moving the camera at the time, you cannot pan the camera or zoom in after the fact.  For zooming in after the fact, it would be better to use a high MegaPixel IP Camera, like our new Arecont Vision IP Cameras, because these provide higher resolution recording and will allow for zooming in after the fact with much better results.

It is a Mazda3 Hatchback 5 speed. The color is Galaxy Gray Mica.

I have never driven a manual before this car, so I'm slowly adjusting...but getting better every day!

Back to the whole San Francisco thing - I flew out on Saturday morning; worked out all the details and picked up the car before lunch; took the car into my possession; headed to the Golden Gate Bridge for photo op; drove a LONG road home! (>1800 miles!) I stopped in my "hometown" of Lancaster, CA; drove beside the famous Route 66 (hitting all the notable towns mentioned in the classic song); (jumping far ahead) stopped in Lubbock, TX to have dinner with my favorite twins!; and arrived home at 4 am Monday morning.

No one showed up though!  There was a big 4-H meeting in town, and I know a lot were involved in that, but seriously, Ms. Patti and Ms. Leda put effort into this for the 4-H'ers and we don't want them to quit! 

Since it was just me, Ms. Leda brought out Zoe, or her nickname... much more befitting of the little thing... Zoom-Zoom! 

First, I tried to lose her around a tree...

And then I just plain gave up racing her altogether!

In wc-urile publice cand bagi Zoom nea Sorine ?

1) Campania BCR care ne indeamna sa "gandim la fel". Nu gandim la fel si nici macar nu cred ca ar trebui sa vrem asta sau sa ne gandim serios la aceasta posibilitate.

2) Campania Orange desfasurata in metrou care ma informeaza ca sunt toti oameni cu care merg si cu care ma intorc de la munca. Gresit, nu sunt si nici nu doresc sa fiu asociat cu cei mai multi dintre ei...

3) Adrian Nastase crede ca Romania e prea atomizata. Mda, probabil ca ar fi mai bine sa fie unitara, cat mai aproape de totalitar, eventual condusa de PSD.

4) La metrou se introduce o televiziune. ZOOM. Invadarea spatiului audio vizual (in conditiile in care cea mai mare parte a romanilor oricum e bransata la audio vizual pentru o gramada de ore) e inca o chestie pe care totalitarismele ar vrea sa o faca. Culmea, e foarte aproape de succes capitalismul.

Interesant cum se strecoara totalitarismele in gandirea noastra si in jurul nostru...

Elle diffuse, de 5 heures à minuit, une boucle de programmes reprenant des contenus d´information, de divertissement, des spots de la société opératrice du métro, et bientôt des messages et petites annonces envoyés par les usagers via SMS. Ces derniers pourront être organisés et diffusés de manière localisée (ie sur un rayon circonscrit de stations), de façon à animer de mini-communautés.

Monopoly Media, qui sera en charge de la régie publicitaire, annonce avoir investi plus de 2 millions € dans le projet. La compagnie est l´un des leaders roumains de l´affichage dynamique indoor avec plus de 2500 écrans en opération.

Une vue, ici, d'un train qui s'engageait sur le viaduc temporaire du CN, prise depuis l'intersection des boulevards Henri-Bourassa et Louis-Hippolyte-Lafontaine.  Ce dernier est, en fait, le prolongement actuel de l'A-25, vers le nord.

Les vestiges de l'ancien boulevard L.-H.-Lafontaine, qui seront appelés à disparaître, eux aussi, lors de la réalisation de la nouvelle A-25.

Le message de la compagnie Garnier, responsable du chantier, semble suffisamment clair.

Tout à côté de la voie ferrée, qui passe sur la viaduc temporaire, on peut voir le rehaussement nécessaire à l'installation de la voie ferrée sur le nouveau viaduc.

Juste au bord de la tranchée, on voit le boulevard L.-H.-Lafontaine, qui passe sous le viaduc temporaire du CN.

Vue depuis le même endroit, l'intersection des boulevards Henri-Bourassa, et L.-H.-Lafontaine.

Le ravissant arrangement floral, qui marque votre arrivée sur le territoire de l'arrondissement d'Anjou, devra être déplacé, parce qu'il se trouve sur le site du prolongement de l'A-25.

Des travaux ont aussi été lancées du côté sud du boulevard Henri-Bourassa.  S'il s'agit du point de raccordement des bretelles d'entrée et de sortie de l'A-25, il faudra alors déplacer le pylône d'Hydro-Québec.

Cette image nous permet d'apprécier deux choses tout à fait différentes.  D'abord, le caractère (ou police) d'écriture Clearview, utilisé sur le panneau de gauche, rend le panneau beaucoup plus facile à lire que celui de droite.  L'autre chose, que moi, j'ai apprécié, est la différence nette entre un zoom numérique, et un zoom optique.  En effet, j'étais à environ 200 mètres de ces deux panneaux, lorsque j'ai croqué cette photo.  Vous avez deviné; je m'amuse maintenant avec mon nouvel appareil-photo!

Il y a un petit clavier virtuel sur le iPod touch; je croyais initialement qu'il serait pénible à utiliser, car les touches sont petites et il n'y a pas de stylet comme c'est le cas pour un Palm. Erreur. Malgré mes gros doigts qui touchent systématiquement trois lettres en même temps sur ce petit clavier, le iPod retient presque toujours celle que je visais, et me le confirme en plus en affichant une petite bulle montrant cette lettre au-dessus de mon doigt pendant une fraction de seconde. Remarquable.

Côté présentation l'écran d'accueil est d'une simplicité bête. Plein de petites icônes carrées sur fond noir. Je peux les déplacer à volonté en les glissant, incluant sur deux autres surfaces d'écran pour cacher celles que je prévois utiliser moins souvent.

Parmi ces icônes, celle de Safari. Le navigateur web est franchement bien fait. Deux champs pour taper dans le haut de l'écran: l'un comme barre d'adresse, l'autre pour Google. En bas, les touches de navigation et les signets. J'ai essayé de lire sur Cyberpresse en grand format (et non le site adapté pour appareils mobiles), et le résultat est impressionnant. Le texte est trop petit ? Taper deux fois sur l'écran pour faire un zoom ! La page est trop large ? Tourner le iPod sur le côté et l'image s'affiche en largeur. J'ai aussi constaté qu'il y a une fonction de favoris encore plus rapide que les signets: on peut mettre des sites web comme icônes sur l'écran principal.

Évidemment, je me suis aussi jeté sur la version iPod d'Epocrates, une base de données de médicaments très populaire chez les étudiants en médecine parce que la version simple est gratuite. C'est franchement plus beau que la version Palm ! Le contenu est évidemment le même, mais la navigation est plus agréable.

Il me reste encore des fonctions à essayer. En fait, maintenant que j'y pense, je n'ai encore écouté aucune musique sur cet iPod neuf ! :P

Yes, this behemoth is 220 pounds! That fact alone is impressive enough, then add the fact that it is capable of taking photographs of objects 18 to 32 miles away!

I think the best part is the quote from the seller:

This is a very rare Canon 5200mm photographic lens - possibly one of only three ever built. THE largest & most powerful prime lens ever created for dedicated SLR use. Built in Japan it was purchased by a Chinese company & shipped to China where it has since had little use & is now for sale. The optics appear in perfect condition. It is my understanding that a customized SLR/DSLR/EF mount can be created/included by the team of optical engineers who presently look after the lens. The Canon factory picture shows the lens mounted to an SLR camera (circled in red) - this will further give you an idea of it's size.

Samsung ha messo in mostra al Photokina una nuova fotocamera, il cui nome HZ1 (High Zoom 1) è ancora provvisorio.

Dovrebbe rappresentare la punta di diamante dell'offerta del colosso coreano, con uno zoom 10x a partire da una focale equivalente di 24mm.

Sarà basata su un sensore CCD da 10,17 megapixel in formato 1/2,33" e sarà in grado di registrare filmati a 30 fps in formato HD 720p. Il sistema di doppia stabilizzazione d’immagine, ottica e digitale, dovrebbe garantire buoni scatti anche in condizioni di scarsa illuminazione. Dotata di un displayLCD da 2,7" di diagonale, con 230.000 punti di risoluzione, ha dimensioni generali pari a 105x61.4x36.5mm.

Completano la gamma di funzioni della HZ1, il sistema Perfect Portrait, la Function Description, il Photo Style Selector e il sistema DCM (Gestione dei contenuti digitali), che permette agli utenti di archiviare e gestire con facilità tutte le immagini e le foto scattate.
