Yeah I'm pretty psyched. I loved the first Gears of War (got live just for that game) and can't wait until this one.

Hoping from the video Brumak fights aren't scripted but actual tactical fighting compared to some mini game crap. Also the new SMG/ pistol looks awesome, as well as the ability to take hostages. I'm also hoping there will be epic fights like the one seen while peering off the rover, like 50 locust and 50 cog duke it out with you in the middle.

Next to that it'd be pretty hard to mess it up. Unless they didn't bring back Cole or made it ridicoulously easy to accommodate new gamers.

Well today, I will talk about what's been my entertainment.

For television, other than Gossip Girl from The CW, I've been hooked on ABC Primetime!

On ABC Primetime, I watch:

Sadly, I don't think According to Jim is returning. I was devastated when I found out that Cashmere Mafia wasn't returning after the big strike but I'm feeling better now. I wish they'd put it back though.

ABC is truly on the right track because I just found out that Scrubs is coming to ABC! I love that show but due to my tight schedule these past couple of weeks, I've been unable to catch it. Fortunately, it's coming to ABC!

I loved the Brothers & Sisters finale, especially the Wandell-Walker conjugal partnership/civil union/gay wedding ceremony. I can't wait until the Season Finale of the other shows. Too bad I'd have to wait a very long time for all the shows to run again. God, it's been so fast. I can't believe it's a new TV season already!

Online TV has been a major hit recently. On MySpaceTV, the show that entertains me is Beyond the Rave which is the horror-esque show about a guy who has only a few nights left until he is sent to Iraq and tries to enjoy his last "freedom days" by clubbing, drugging, drinking, etc. not knowing that there are certain living-dead walking amongst such a lifestyle.

Well enough for TV. For music, I still listen to my usual Panic! At The Disco, Fall Out Boy, Natasha Bedingfield, Black Eyed Peas, Plain White Ts, Joe Brooks, Yelle and Jonas Brothers. But recently, Beyond the Rave has been pulling me into the Whole Techno/Club Mix Music. My Private MySpace song right now is Coccote by Teenage Bad Girl, which I LOVE btw.

For food, I've been craving for sushi lately. So Claire and I are going to Sushi Mac this Friday again.

Well, that's about all my Entertainment nowadays. Sounds boring huh? But I love it.

Before The Ceremony

The Ceremony

• The entrance of the bridesmaids, flower girl and ring bearer

From a pre-approved (by the minister) position at the altar, with video camera mounted on a tripod, zoom to the midpoint of the aisle. As each bridesmaid enters your frame, follow (slow pan) her until she reaches the foot of the altar and then quickly (“snap”) pan to the next bridesmaid. Repeat this shooting procedure until all attendants, flower girl, ring bearer, etc., complete their entrance.

• The entrance of the bride.

There should then be a brief pause right before the bride makes her entrance. This will give you time to snap pan to the rear of the church where the bride will probably be standing and waiting for the music to cue her entrance.

Follow the bride’s walk down the aisle until she arrives at the altar. Capture the father giving his daughter away before quickly moving your camera and tripod to a predetermined spot (from the rehearsal) that provides the best shot of the couple taking their vows.

Note: Don’t forget to continuously roll tape beginning before the bride's entrance and until the couple exits the church at the conclusion of the ceremony. (At the rehearsal, instruct the bride and groom to stop a few feet in front of the camera as they come down the aisle at the end of the wedding and kiss. This is a nice touch.)

In a move anticipated by some opponents of Mendocino Measure B, The Anti-Medical Marijuana Measure. Head Sheriff of Mendocino, Tom Allman, has changed his neutral stance on Measure B and decided to stand behind the hysteria and misinformation of the Yes on B Coalition.

According to the Ukiah Daily Journal, "Without my knowledge or permission, the opponents of Measure B sent out a campaign mailer that includes my uniformed picture and a quote from me," Allman explained. "First, they have taken the quote attributed to me out of context. Second, by doing so they are implying that I am opposed to Measure B. Because of this misrepresentation, I can no longer remain neutral." "I have strived to remain neutral on the ballot initiative for the purpose of allowing the voters to decide," Allman said, according to the Ukiah Daily Journals "BREAKING NEWS HEADLINE".

Sheriff Allman maintained "The investigation of violent crimes, the eradication of large commercial marijuana gardens and combating methamphetamine will remain top priorities for the Mendocino County Sheriff's Office."

We at the Mendo Mount, applaud Sheriff Allman for not endorsing or not endorsing Measure B, and taking a clear stance on Measure B. There has been alot of talk as to whether Sheriff  Allman was for or against Measure B in the local Mendocino Press, with this clarification the voters of Mendocino can now clearly see where the Head of the Mendocino County Sheriff's Department Stands on Measure B.

According to the Friends of Tom Allman website, Sheriff Allman who is also a Freemason, and the former "Grandmaster" of the Willits Masonic Lodge, better known locally as one of the "Good 'Ole Boys Clubs".        In Mendoicino it strikes many as no surprise that the Sheriff  would wait until two weeks before the June Election to support and endorse Mendocino Measure B- The Anti-Medical Marijuana Measure. It suits and plays the tune of the strategy of the YES ON B COALITION'S plan to re criminalize Medical Marijuana and arrest the patients and growers who threaten MENDOCINO'S TRADITIONAL POWER STRUCTURE.

Tom Allman pioneered the worlds first voluntary "MARIJUANA ZIP TIE PROGRAM" last year that would have brought millions of dollars in revenue to the County of Mendocino had the program been implemented by the Board of Supervisors. The Program was designed to make identification of "Legitimate Medical Marijuana Plants" easier for officers by assigning a serialized "ZIP TIE" with a non-personal identifiable number that would have made it extremely easier for law enforcement to identify "legal" marijuana from its "Illegal" counterpart. The program Allman designed was extremely well recieved  by the Medical Marijuana Community in Mendocino County. It was a very good plan! The plan would have charged a nominal fee per "ZIp Tie" and would have solved any abuses of  Mendocino's Medical Marijuana Program. Unlike Measure B, which polarizes the community, the Zip Tie program would have brought some much needed revenue to the County from Mendocino's #1 money making agriculture crop. The "Zip Tie" program is still available voluntarily in Mendocino through the sheriffs office.

Although we applaud Sheriff Allman for taking any stance on such a volatile  issue such as Measure  B, It would have been beneficial for all parties earlier. We must admit, that the timing of the endorsement of Measure B seems a political Backlash, to the No on Measure B Coalition, for citing earlier newspaper quotations and printing his picture in their campaign fliers mailed this week. The Endorsement  couldn't come at a better time for the Campaign of Misinformation led by the Yes on B Coalition.

We must remember that the NO on Measure B Coalition was only quoting an article from The Press Democrat which misrepresented and took the Sheriff's words "out of context". We featured a SIMILAR STORY HERE ON THE MENDOCINO MOUNT, but as we concluded in that story, “SHERIFF ALLMAN WENT ON TO SAY IN THE ARTICLE, “Although I will not take a position on Measure B, I will say Mendocino County will be a better spot when marijuana is not on the front page every day,” ALTHOUGH WE SUPPORT SHERIFF ALLMAN, WE DON’T THINK THERE WIOLL EVER BE A TIME WHERE MARIJUANA ISN’T ON THE FRONT PAGE IN MENDOCINO COUNTY. PEOPLE LOVE MARIJUANA WAY TOO MUCH HERE!" ............hummm were still figuring out where this whole YES ON B , NO ON B MESS IS LEADING,      WE AT THE MENDO MOUNT DO NOT SUPPORT OUR SHERIFFS DECISION TO ENDORSE MEASURE B,

WHATEVER HAPPENED TO ALLMANS"ZIP TIE PROGRAM"-  IT WAS HIS BEST IDEA YET!

Her masculine voice in this song is very challenging, very provocative, however if you turn off the sound and freeze frame on a close up of her face you could be forgiven for thinking she could be singing a pure pop song.

Debbie Harry is an amazing set of contradictions, this is what makes her appealing, especially to men. The reason she's had so much success in the rock industry is because she can both utilise her femininity and challenge in a masculine way.

Embora os representantes da Claro – cuja controladora América Móvil anunciou na semana passada um acordo com a Apple para distribuir o aparelho na América Latina – tenham se negado a falar sobre o assunto, os executivos de outras empresas presentes consideraram um avanço a chegada do iPhone ao país.

“Acho essa notícia muito boa”, disse o diretor de desenvolvimento de negócios do Google Brasil, Leonardo Tristão. Segundo ele, “quem ganha com isso é o usuário. O iPhone revolucionou o conceito de como o usuário interage com os aplicativos. Ele facilita muito a interatividade. O aparelho tem uma série de aplicativos que impactam na maneira como o usuário navega na internet”.

De acordo com o executivo, essas características próprias do aparelho ajudam a estratégia de sua empresa: “buscamos oferecer tudo o que está disponível na internet para o acesso via celular, entre os quais o site de relacionamento Orkut e o serviço de e-mails Gmail”. Assim, a facilidade de operação do iPhone facilitaria o acesso aos serviços do Google.

Fidelidade

Essa fidelidade na navegação é uma das razões que tornam o iPhone tão atrativo para os usuários, na opinião de Paulo Castro, diretor-geral do portal Terra no Brasil. Para ele, o usuário do aparelho tende a ser um internauta já acostumado com os recursos disponíveis na rede, que busca no telefone uma forma reproduzir esse conteúdo com fidelidade no celular – uma tarefa complicada, com os modelos atuais de telefonia móvel.

Para Roberto Vazquez, analista da consultoria Nielsen, o iPhone pode acelerar uma série de mudanças que ele identifica no modo com as pessoaas usam a internet no celular. “A telefonia móvel só está começando. Hoje, 44% das pessoas ainda não usa, recursos básicos como mensagens SMS”, diz. “Com o iPhone, é provável que essas pessoas tenham um acesso mais simples a esses recursos, afirma. Para ele, o aparelho também pode gerar lucro para as empresas, na medida em que traz mais usuários para os serviços da internet móvel. “Nos EUA, o canal de esportes ESPN tem 3,7 milhões de assinantes em seus conteúdos para celular.

Quem não quis comentar o assunto foi Fiamma Zarife, diretora de Serviço de Valor Adicionado da Claro. “Tudo o que posso confirmar é que vamos trazer o iPhone para o Brasil até o final do ano. Vamos dar os detalhes no momento adequado. Não posso falar mais nada, porque é uma informação estratégica em um mercado extremamente competitivo”, disse ela.

A executiva se limitou a ressaltar a importância do acesso móvel. Segundo ela, em cerca de 1.200 cidades, a telefonia celular é a única opção de acesso à internet frente ao acesso discado. Fiamma também destacou que, pela primeira vez, em 2009 a tecnologia 3G, de alta velocidade, será mais vendida do que a atual no mundo. No Brasil, ela afirmou que os locais onde existe maior quantidade de aparelhos 3G são São Paulo e Rio de Janeiro. Segundo ela, também se registra um crescimento expressivo na região Nordeste.

Novidades

Lançado em meados do ano passado e eleito pela revista “Time” a melhor invenção de 2007, o iPhone é um celular “inteligente” que incorpora uma série de novidades. Além de incluir as funções de um tocador de mídia similar ao iPod - música e vídeos digitais, por exemplo – e uma série de recursos já usados por outros aparelhos, como acesso à internet, e-mail e câmera fotográfica, o iPhone aposta especialmente na funcionalidade.

O produto possui uma tela sensível ao toque que simplifica sua operação – por exemplo, para fazer uma ligação, basta pressionar o dedo sobre um nome na agenda telefônica do aparelho. Para enviar uma mensagem SMS, basta clicar no ícone correspondente. Um teclado virtual torna bem mais fácil a normalmente complicada tarefa de digitar em um celular.

Todas essas operações são associadas a uma tela de nove centímetros – bem maior que a dos celulares convencionais – que facilita o manuseio dessas funções, além de tornar a navegação na internet e a visualização de filmes uma experiência bem mais acessível.
