About

Often referred as thousand-petaled lotus, it is said to be the most subtle chakra in the system, relating to pure consciousness, and it is from this chakra that all the other chakras emanate. When a yogi is able to raise his or her kundalini, energy of consciousness, up to this point, the state of samadhi, or union with God, is experienced.

In the West, it has been noted by many occultists that Sahasrara expresses a similar archetypal idea to that of Kether in the kabbalistic tree of life, which also rests at the head of the tree, and represents pure consciousness and union with God.

Problem Symptoms

When energy is not flowing freely from this chakra there are problems with feeling you are making a difference in the world (Life Purpose), there is disconnection from God/Spirit.

Balance

This chakra is fed by unconditional love, compassion and peace.

At this level, one must "become empty to become full". Many spiritual writings refer to the body as an empty vessel that best expresses its spiritual potentials when it allows itself to be moved by Spirit. Even in the world of sports, there are all kinds of anecdotes by athletes who claim they suddenly entered a quiet space, and they were able to perform physical feats that they were not otherwise capable of doing. Many people on a personal crusade will say that they had no need of sleep or food - they were driven by Spirit to perform a selfless act that was beneficial to others. In order for this chakra to function most effectively, one must have a clear understanding of their purpose for having incarnated upon this planet Earth.

Czakra Trzeciego Oka - Adźna

“Dźna” - to “wiedza”, a “A” w przedrostku - jak po polsku coś całkiem przeciwnego. A-dźna oznacza więc NIE-WIEDZĘ, choć faktycznie tę wiedzę daje…

Kolor:
Indygo, szafirowy, a po transformacji złoto-fioletowy

Budowa:
Składa się z 96 płatków, jednak tradycyjnie przedstawiana jest jako dwupłatkowy lotos. To przedstawienie wynika z faktu podziału jej na dwie połowy, w których gromadzi się prana. U niektórych osób jedna połowa jest głownie jasnożółta, druga zaś głownie jasnofioletowa. Inne osoby mają pastelową zieleń w jednej części i jasny fiolet w drugiej. Poszczególne osoby różnią się barwą prany dominującej u nich w czakrze adźni. Kolory zmieniają się w zależności od psychicznego stanu danej osoby. Położenie:
Pomiędzy brwiami – do 1 cm ponad linią brwi.

Funkcja:

Stąd też nazwa tej czakry "Guru", gdyż umożliwia kontakt z własnym mistrzem/opiekunem duchowym - własnym Guru.

Urzeczywistnienie:
Na tym czakramie urzeczywistniamy prawdę, która jest najczystszą wibracją sfery mentalnej. Czakra Korony - Sahasrara

Czakra Korony ma 972 płatki, jest czakramem podwójnym. Składa się z kielicha wewnętrznego - Punkt Bindu ma 12 płatków, i kielicha zewnętrznego, który ma 960 płatków. Normalnie ma kolor fioletowy, a także tęczowy - ze względu na mieszankę różnokolorowych pran dostarczanych do niej przez Suszumnę z niższych czakr. Po transformacji przyjmuje kolor brylantowy - olśniewająca biel z fioletowym brzegiem (porównaj z artykułem Natura Energi Reiki).

Chakras are energy centers. Pond calls them the "batteries for the various levels of your life energy." Their source is the universal life force. Of the many chakras we each have, seven are considered as primary. These seven are in a straight line along the length of the spine. Any blocks or imbalances in the chakras can result in disease or emotional difficulties.

After discussing chakras in general, Pond devotes a chapter to each of the seven primary energy centers. He first describes the "drive" or purpose of each chakra. For example, the first chakra is concerned with survival, while the fourth chakra deals with the quest for love. He then discusses all the ways in which the chakra can be out of balance, including problems related to too much energy as well as difficulties stemming from too little energy. After explaining how to balance the chakra, Pond discusses how to keep it in balance.

Each chapter includes exercises designed to balance and maintain the individual chakras. He finishes with a section on special tips and techniques for activating the chakras. He also explains how colors and crystals can affect the chakras. See details

The seventh chakra, namely the crown chakra called Sahasrara in Sanskrit, is located on the top of the head, giving the lips and the eyes their second shrinkage, further distorting the positioning of the jaws and hence, further generating more vision problems.

If opening the third eye chakra turns us from sub-humans to full-humans, opening Sahasrara (the crown chakra) does the same to us from full-humans to super-humans.

Opening Sahasrara (the crown chakra) is the ultimate in the human evolution.

If Sahasrara (the crown chakra) is open, it means there is not a single flaw in the opening of any and every other chakra in the body, there is not a single flaw in the working of the gray matter, and there is not a single flaw in the perception through the sense organs including the eye vision that turns telescopic as well as microscopic at the same time!

Also the opening of Sahasrara (the crown chakra) completes the path of energy in order for it to make a closed loop and thus turn dynamic rather than keep stagnating by getting trapped in the whirlwind of the energy vortices that the chakras are.

It also means that every single muscle in the body is totally relaxed as well as fully ready for total action in any and every state of emergency.

It also means that there is not at all any stress in the mind and it's fully at peace.

It also means that there is a sparkle in the eye and when it looks at something, it does so with its total interest in the thing.

And hence, it also means that an open Sahasrara (the crown chakra) imparts indomitable passion and total honesty in one's interaction with the other.

Opening Sahasrara (the crown chakra) makes you write your own story of your further evolution with your own pen in your own ink!

Now, compare this description of Sahasrara (the crown chakra) with my personal experience of opening it while working with a lady whose upper chakras including Anahata, Vishuddha and Ajna were affected more than her lower ones, i.e., Muladhara, Svadhisthana, and Manipura. These were the scenes where we had left last three times while working with her Anahata, Vishuddha and Ajna:

I asked her to maintain this posture for a couple days before we could proceed further with our intervention of the body in the affairs of mind.

She came back with the complaint that she was feeling she had partially gone undressed while maintaining her shoulders open.

"Anahata does this to us. Vishuddha will do it even more. Are you ready for the next step?" - I asked her.

She paused for a few seconds.

During her pause, she was maintaining her shoulders wide open; which gave her bust a beautiful body-lift though it was still a partial one.

She was looking straight into my eyes.

She took care not to let her shoulders go squeezed again.

And then she said - "Yes, I am ready."

From Anahata we were to go to Vishuddha next.

She had centered on her HARA - some two inches below her naval.

Her body was looking like a statue of beauty personified in the form of Venus herself!

"Are you ready for going to the next step from here, that opening Vishuddha has brought you in?" - I asked.

She didn't take any time this time.

"Yes, I am ready." - immediate came her reply.

From Vishuddha we were to go to opening Ajna (the third eye) next.

Her eyes were oozing E-N-E-R-G-Y!

"This is what Ajna (the third eye chakra) opening is. From Ajna we need moving on to Sahasrara (the crown chakra) that is the king of them all! Are you ready for your journey further?" - I inquired into her intention and her readiness to go beyond Ajna (the third eye chakra).

"By all means!" - immediate was her reply this time.

From Ajna, we were to move on to Sahasrara (the crown chakra) next!

Again, this time I asked her to pay her attention to her hands.

She did.

I asked her to lay her palms on her thighs - palm-side down.

"Where on the sole of your palms are you sensing your weight to be resting?" - I asked her.

"On the outer edges!" - she sensed it.

"Come up to the new posture learnt and tell me now!" - I again had a sense of urgency and immediacy in my voice.

"It's the inner edges now, more toward the thumb!" - screaming, she exclaimed.

"Make it a little more toward the thumb, take it exactly below the thumb!" - my voice was pulling her along.

The shoulders rose higher and higher up until the collarbones were exactly aligned with the neck.

"Just check, what your jaws are up to!" - I had the same urgency in my voice.

She immediately told the difference, "The lower jaw has come forward as well as down; or I can also say, the upper jaw has gone backwards as well as up a little. It's exerting a pressure on my jaws - now this time much, much more and in much greater width than the last time when we did it for the third eye opening."

"What is this pressure feeling like this time?" - I was eagerly waiting for her answer.

"Like ultimate of energy! Energy entering my denture, and thence to my eyes, and thence to the top of my head - and this time much more than before!" - she exclaimed with a great joy oozing out of her total face expression.

Her eyes were screaming E-N-E-R-G-Y now!

Her total face was spelling E-N-E-R-G-Y this time!

"This is what Sahasrara (the crown chakra) opening is. What is it doing to your mind right now?" - I wanted to know.

"As if I am no more there...it's a new person sitting over here." - her voice had a coolness of ecstacy in its tone.

"Can you be like this every single moment with your Sahasrara open? All the 24 hours?

"I think I can. And thank you for this." - she had really gone a new person altogether!

Does this story not give the exact description of Sahasrara (the crown chakra) in a more day-to-day language?

So, ultimately opening Sahasrara (the crown chakra) means our own heaven on earth!

Opening Sahasrara (the crown chakra) entails undoing the unconscious habit of treating our evolution as biological only - though it has already stopped functioning biologically in the case of human species, and the gray matter has taken over since long back - and hence taking the charge in our own hands.

Vision therapy not only opens Sahasrara (the crown chakra) but all the 7 chakras through a very subtle on-off switch in the body in one single go, since they are all connected anatomically as well as physiologically in the human species.

In the crucifixion account, Jesus is progressing toward a physical death. Symbollically, the pilgrim is moving away from death, and its associate fears and fetters, and moving ever closer to that which never dies. The seventh station is a difficult place, as it lies far from any familiar shore. Here is the desolate and terrifying dark night of the soul, where all the pilgrim can do is trust; there is no other action possible. The seventh station is death--and here one realizes that death isn't a beginning or an end, but a middle. Its forbidding terrain must be traversed to reach liberation and the realization of everlasting life.

In the biblical account, Jesus has fallen a second time. The bronze sculpture shows Jesus on the ground, holding himself up with one  hand, his guards hoisting him by the rope around his waist. Christ's focus is at the ground where his hand is supporting his weight. He is not looking forward, or behind him, but directly at the ground where he's stopped. His attention is in the moment.

The isolation around this station is indicated by its number, Seven, which is the number of sanctuary and solitude.  This is when one must search within to find that safe and constant place. For some, that place may be prayer, for others, it might be lucidity or awakening, and for yet others, love is their salvation. Perhaps, all of these at different times help each of us through the dark night of the soul. The seventh, or crown chakra located on top of the head, is concerned with assimilation, wisdom, and the unmistakable connection with Source, God, Divinity, Spirit.

The seventh station is where we process everything that has either happened to us, or at least those things that have impacted us in a meaningful way--both traumas and blessings. We are in a state of deep introspection having just come from the sixth station, and if we allow, a divine light illuminates our circumstance. The illusions of fear, separation, and all those things which have overwhelmed or oppressed us up until now have been exposed as just that--illusions.

I realized one day as I meditated on Jesus' second fall, noticing the guards and handlers around him, that he was never alone on the way to Calvary. The persons most invested in his reaching that last hill were his enemies. As gruesome and tortuous as his death would be, it would change the lives of millions of people for generations to come. Whether one agrees with Christian idealogy or not, that Jesus' destiny manifested  exactly the way it did would be crucial. How can any of us know whether a difficult situation will affect our futures or anothers in a beneficial,  or even a momentous way? Certainly, if left to our own devices, we wouldn't walk the hard path. Do you think that those who love us would let us travail and suffer? Mary would have plucked her son out of harm's way, sacrificing herself, but the Roman guards kept close to their prisoner, and kept a watchful eye on the throng of supporters and onlookers as they made their way to Calvary.

It would seem that it is often our enemies, or our obstacles which propel us onward, keeping us on the path leading to our destiny. Our commrades wouldn't let us experience pain or difficulty, so we need our 'enemies' in this respect. In many cultures and mythlogies, this is the role of the trickster. In fact, this was Satan's role in the Old Testament. He was never actually called Satan, but in Hebrew he was referred to as the opponent or adversary, a foil to the righteous protaganist of a given story. So if our enemies are crucial to realizing and fulfiling our purpose, then how are we to truly regard Satan?
