1.Nombre y grupos. ¿Cuándo empezaste?

SET Wors.Pues calculo q tendria 14 años y ahora tengo 30...calcula.

2.¿Por que el nombre de SET? ¿Qué significa? ¿Hasta que año existió SET?

Viene de un dios egipcio, por que la mitad de los WORS veniamos de otra banda llamada “Los Faraones”, y teniamos todos nombres egipcios (cosas de niños jeje).Deje de firmar Set cuando empeze a meterme en el mundo del hip-hop

3.Háblame un poco de los WORS... ¿Quienes erais? ¿Qué significaba WORS? ¿Quien o quienes fundaron los  WORS? ¿Cómo os conocisteis?

Pues todo empezo cuando decidimos unirnos mi antigua banda y la banda de mi hermano (Rob) ,ellos ponian una “W”  metida en un circulo pero que no tenia significado ,a mi me encantaba ese simbolo asi que le di el significado de WORS y la dimos  el diseño final intentando reclutar a todos los coleguillas mas intimos y de confianza y fichando gente de bandas del barrio e incluso bandas que antiguamente habian sido enemigas. La mezcla resulto un grupo en el que llegamos a ser mas de 30 y todos pintando era la caña .La union mas importante se hizo con gente de los antiguos “YO” ,de ella y de nosotros salieron los mas famosos escritores de los WORS, ROB, SAGA, MEMU, SET, TESS, MEN, TAG, ODIN, OBUS,  Y ETC ETC

4.¿Sigues teniendo contacto con alguno de ellos? ¿Pinta alguno, aunque sea con otro  nombre?

Si claro con muchos de ellos, muchos de los WORS han sido despues escritores de graffiti y muy famosos, otros lo dejaron muy pronto...por ej :mi hermano(Rob) , Men ,Dagers,y muchos mas aunque ya no pintan siguen siendo amigos y otros que  todavia lo hacen esporadicamente como Saga ASR, Kane TMF ,y alguno q me olvidare.

5.¿Qué o quien te infuyó a la hora de empezar a pintar? ¿Y a los demás WORS?

Cuando yo empeze era cuando se le empezaba a ver al Muelle, pero a mi los que mas influenciaron fueron gente de mi barrio, como Ninja y los “YO” y claro está siempre te fijabas en los escritores que eran de tu tiempo y te picabas con ellos, pero lo de ver una firma del Muelle y pintar al lado para q se te viese era normal asi que supongo que todos nos ha influenciado de alguna manera (y quien te diga lo contrario es un pinpin)

6.¿Qué firmas recuerdas cuando  empezaste? ¿Qué otros grupos había cuando empezaste?

Pues muchos de los que pintaban “sin estilo”(estilo autóctono) mas tarde fueron los numeros uno en el graffiti sobre todo de trenes (metro) en Carabanchel y Aluche. Alli fue la cuna de casi todos los escritores de trenes ,yo conoci pintando “sin estilo”(estilo autóctono) a Torbe( Beni TMF),Bruss(More PTV),Ice PTV, Yeti ,Fosy, Kane TMF,a  los ASR... todos pintaban otras cosas y despues han llegado a ser de  los mejores. Todos venimos de las flechitas jeje...y todos hemos recorrido el camino desde las crayon(ceras),kanfort, rotus, hasta llegar a los sprays. Aparte de esta gente recuerdo haber pintado con JYS, FER, LTY, RAFITA, LACOSTE, MARYS, BOY, KEY, TIFON, ANTENO, TORBE, LOS 5 PUNTOS, LOS MOSCAS, MAX 501,etc etc ya no me acuerdo de todos.

7.Como todos los escritores de la época supongo que verías por todas partes las firmas del Muelle ¿Qué opinión tenias de él? ¿Le conociste? ¿Qué opinaban en general los WORS de él?

Para mi ,fue el que mejor supo sacar provecho de su firma tanto de fama como de pelas, empezo como todos nosotros pero despues se le olvido(...)

8.¿Dónde actuabas? ¿En que barrios?

Primero en mi barrio Carabanchel y despues te vas extendiendo hemos pintado hasta en el Palacio Real hasta que descubrimos el metro y me gusto tanto q nunca volvi a salir.. jeje..

9.¿Quién era tu referente para crear tu estilo de firma? ¿Y de los demás WORS? Cuéntanos a  quien tomabas o tomabais como ejemplo a seguir, si es que tenías alguna referencia.

Supongo que lo que se llevaba era las flechas, asi q intentabas meter flechas a tu firma y te fijabas en otros estilos no se, Tifon ,Muelle(al principio ,como no) incluso habia gente entre los amiguetes que dibujaba bien y siempre sacabas algo original con lo que pretendias romper.

10.Durante principio y mediados de los 80, por toda la zona sur actuaron algunos grupos de escritores que siempre pintaban con ceras azules, OSO, BRA, LACOSTE y muchísimos mas, todos ellos aparte de su nombre pintaban una Y metida en un circulo (algo así como YO),eran los “YO” otros pintaban su grupo pintando una especie de lazo o mosca (los “Moscas”) y también con ceras azules. ¿Los recuerdas? ¿Guardaban alguna relación con los futuros WORS?

Si muchos de ellos fueron WORS, de “los 5 PUNTOS” conoci a muchos (mas tarde serian Ptv y algunos Tmf) y de “LOS MOSCAS” fueron nuestros enemigos de siempre (con la diferencia de que ellos conocian a mas gente chunga q nosotros.. jeje)pero por lo general podemos presumir de haber pintado con los escritores mas famosos de la epoca con unos de buen royo con otros no tanto.

11.También en tu época por Aluche y Campamento pintaban con estilo autóctono o flechero otros grupos como “los cinco puntos” de BRUS, VA(P) 2, YETI, KIOS, etc, o el grupo de los “omega” de TORBE, BLOFT, THE WLC SEX, etc, ¿Os conociais? ¿Había cierta rivalidad?

Algo de rivalidad siempre habia, pero con casi todos ellos habia buen royo y muchos hemos seguido caminos parecidos pasandonos a pintar “graffiti”(graffiti hip-hop) y trenes, de todas maneras de esos grupos que has nombrado han salido grandes escritores mas tarde por no decir de los mejores .Quitando a LOS MOSCAS los demas se les consideraba coleguillas, aunque es cierto q a los WORS muchos nos odiaban (nos consideraban muy salvajes ,jejeje)

12.Uno de los grandes escritores autóctonos de la zona sur por entonces fue KEY, ¿le recuerdas? ¿Qué sabes de él? Cuéntanos un poco...

Claro... jeje... joder es verdad q recuerdos... ya se me habia olvidado, es cierto que dio mucha caña .Hubo una epoca se vino con nosotros era buen chaval pero un poco cagoncete, era del barrio de los “Moscas” asi q se termino uniendose a ellos  y se le subio a la chepa, como muchos desaparecio no evoluciono, pudo haber sido un WORS.

13.¿Os considerabais solo  escritores de calle o por entonces también firmabais en el metro (vagones, paneles, etc...)?

Empezamos en la calle como todos ,pero el metro engancha y eso nos paso a muchos, lo ve mas gente y tiene mas emocion tal vez menos encanto, pero tambien recuerdo la calle de buen royo... ahora se esta volviendo a pintar mucho en la calle

14 .A finales de los 80, primeros 90, muchos de vosotros cambiasteis al estilo hip-hop ¿Porque? ¿Qué otros escritores de la época recuerdas que lo hicieron? ¿Algún miembro de los WORS también lo hizo?

Recuerdo muchos ,ya los he nombrado antes, pero lo repito casi todos los “5 PUNTOS”, “LOS OMEGA” ,Saga y yo de los WORS nos hicimos ASR , creo q muchos de mi generación...todos los que han pintado trenes han empezado desde el principio(desde el Graffiti autóctono)... no como ahora, nosotros no tuvimos referencias todo lo inventamos en mi generación.

15.¿Que opinas de aquellos que llegan hoy en día a repudiar el estilo autóctono ó “flechero” cuando ellos fueron de los primeros en desarrollarlo? ¿No te parece una incongruencia? ¿Conoces casos?

Pues que es renunciar a tus raices como escritor y lo veo absurdo pero si que conozco casos que han olvidado de donde vienen.

16.¿Dónde crees que se inicio el Graffiti en Madrid? ¿Quién crees que fue el primero? ¿Crees que fue Muelle? ¿Recuerdas alguna pintada antes que la de Muelle?

Si yo vi pintadas en cera de “los YO” antes q muelles pero supongo q en cada barrio se verian cosas distintas pero al Muelle le recuerdo como uno de los q mas se veia pero no el primero seguro.

17.¿Qué opinión te merecen los demás pioneros como Bleck (la rata), Josesa Punk, Juanmanuel, Juanillo, etc...? ¿Conociste a alguno?

Al Josesa Punk me parece que si le conoci pero no recuerdo... he conocido a tantos y hace mucho... a los demas he visto sus pintadas pero recuerdo haberlos conocido.

18.Bajo tu punto de vista que graffitti apareció antes por tu barrio...¿el “flechero” o autóctono o el graffiti hip-hop?

El “flechero” aun que ya andaban por ahi los SSB y algun QSC (Ardi, Sac)

19.Cuéntanos alguna anécdota cachonda que os ocurriera a los WORS pintando.

Uf!! tengo muchas , recuerdo dejar vacia una tienda de pintura, nos llevamos hasta el estante ,y sobre todo ver a 30 tios pintando a la vez era la caña jeje, pero siempre estabamos corriendo,otra anécdota...ir al corte ingles y encontrarte cuando ibas a robar botes a la mitad de los escritores de Madrid y partirnos la polla todos.

20.¿Te pillaron alguna vez? ¿Qué decía la gente por aquellos primeros años del graffitti cuando te sorprendían pintando?

A mi pintando nunca y mangando botes solo una vez y fue con Fosy ...yo creo q lo primero q te preguntaban si te pillaban era que coño ponias y que si estabas loco.

21.¿Qué opinión te merece que algunos escritores antiguos como Fer, JYS, Remebe (KUS punk),  Max501, Shat II, que continúan aún pintando en la actualidad?

Lo del Fer me lo esperaba por que tenia noticias de que tenia ganas de volver ,los demas pues cojonudo a mi Jys como firma ha sido de mis preferidas me encanta verla me trae recuerdos... al Max tambien hace “graffiti”(graffiti hip-hop) asi que no le considero de los flecheros ,lo de Remebe me dejo bocas por que su firma desaparecio hace mil años mucho antes q los demas q has nombrado.

22. ¿Qué opinas del movimiento graffitero de hoy en día? ¿Crees que se ha perdido el estilo, que antes era esencial? Cuentanos un poco que opinas de toda esta movida de hacer “palancazos" o de inmovilizar a los metreros... ¿antes se utilizaban otros métodos no?

En mi epoca de Set en los WORS era impensable y supongo que lo del estilo flechero para mi, aunque  a mi me trae buenos recuerdos, lo veo cosa del pasado .Hoy en dia en este momento hay una mezcla en la calle que no se sabe ni o que es...es Graffiti mezcaldo con flechas a la vez con color ¡buah una movida! antes se distinguian bien los escritores que eran los numeros uno y ahora es el caos ,los niños de ahora tendrian que aprender de donde viene las pintadas en Madrid, un poco de historia no les vendria mal .Se ha perdido la esencia...antes pintabas sin que nadie te viera ,y te ibas solo, y como ultimo recurso dabas palos... ya no, ahora parece q lo de los palos tambien forma parte del pintar ,considero que se ha perdido la esencia.

23.¿Porqué crees que ya casi nadie hace firmas como las de antes (Autoctonas o “flecheras”) y  todo el mundo se dedica a intentar hacer firmas estilo NY?

Yo creo que simplemente copian de otros, lo de las fechas le queda muy lejos a los niños de ahora han crecido viendo “graffiti” (graffiti hip-hop) y no flechas ,y referente al estilo yo no creo que ni siquiera sepan q estilo hacen.

Aleksandra is a Toronto deejay whose style will simply win you over. She sent me this mix to check out and I was drawn immediately. Although it is not minimal or techno right from the start (she opens with deep tech house and some soulful house), it picks up its pace once you reach the middle. Second half is more repetitive tech/techno that will remind you of something Villalobos would play. If you're looking for an LCD TV comparison, you're probably already in love with the idea of hanging a flat screen TV on your wall. It's really amazing how technology has progressed to the point where you can hang a big screen TV on your wall, then sit back and enjoy a fantastic HDTV picture of your favorite TV shows or sporting events.

Even more amazing is that as pictures have improved by leaps and bounds, the TVs have gotten thinner, and prices have plummeted. You know that any TV you choose is bound to net you a superb picture and slim form factor.

That being said, you know all the LCD TVs out there can't be the same, can they? Surely there must be some differences, right? Well, yes there are. There are a few things that some TVs do better than others and when making an LCD TV comparison, you should know how to find the differences. Although LCD TV prices have declined substantially in recent years, you want to be sure you're getting the most TV for your money, and the best one for your particular application.

One of the first things to think about is the physical size of the set. If it wasn't so common it would be funny, but people will often make or buy a cabinet, then try to find a TV to fit in the space allocated. Many times they're thwarted form going up to the next larger sized TV because one of the cabinet dimensions is an inch or so too small.

Take the time to choose your TV first, if you have the opportunity. This will also prevent you from designing or buying a cabinet for a particular TV, only to find it's been discontinued when it comes time to buy the TV.

The next thing is to look at some of the new LCD TVs with thin bezels. For example, this can allow you to fit a 40" TV where only a 37" set would fit before. Something to be aware of is that sometimes these extra thin bezel LCD TVs are deeper than their normal beveled cousins. If you're putting your new TV in a cabinet, this may not be a concern to you, but the extra 2" - 3" may make a big difference if you're hanging the set on a wall.

If the TV will fit where you'd like to put it, a check on picture quality is in order. After all your buying a new TV to watch it, and there are some ways you can compare the picture quality to determine which set has a better picture.

One problem with just looking at a set on the showroom floor is that rarely are all the TVs correctly adjusted for the best picture. Often they're shipped and set up in what the industry terms "torch mode". This is slang for having the settings adjusted to take advantage of most customer's preference for the brightest TV they see. If there are 10 TVs lined up, they'll gravitate toward the brightest one. In many cases the brightest TV is not the one with the best picture, especially if it has been adjusted to look artificially bright.

Most LCD TVs, especially 1080p sets, have more than enough brightness for any viewing situation, save putting the set in direct sunlight, but no brightness or contrast adjustment will save you there. The point is that looking at a TV in the showroom will often not provide you with an accurate representation of the set's available picture quality.

When shopping for an LCD TV, a 120Hz refresh rate is one feature that has gone a long way toward eliminating the motion artifact problems that used to be so prevalent in LCD televisions. It is common on most manufacturer's better LCD sets now and is known by many trade names.

Sharp has no trade name for their sets with the 120Hz feature, calling it just "120Hz frame rate conversion", Toshiba uses the moniker "ClearFrame™", Mitsubishi prefers "Smooth 120Hz™", and Sony's marketing department came up with "Motionflow™ 120Hz". It all means basically the same thing. Your LCD with this technology will look much better on fast moving images, like sports and scrolling text, than TVs without it.

If you're looking at one of the newest TVs, make sure they have plenty of inputs for connecting your BluRay player, cable box or satellite receiver, computer, or digital camcorder. In many instances, you will connect everything up to your surround sound receiver, then run a single cable to your TV.

For those not using a surround receiver, having plenty of inputs becomes vitally important. Make sure you have art least 3 HDMI inputs so you can get the best possible picture from HD digital video sources. A couple of component video inputs for older sources such as DVD players is a good idea as well.

Most new TVs have a digital tuner built in so you can connect an HDTV antenna and pick up signals broadcast over the air. Some TVs have what's called a QUAM tuner. This will allow you to get unencrypted digital cable programming. In many cases the cable company will broadcast local channels in full HDTV resolution "in the clear". That means they are not encrypted and you can watch them with no cable box, just the QUAM tuner built into your TV.

This will give some things to look for when comparing new LCD TVs. Whatever TV you decide to buy, you will get many years of enjoyment from your new set.
