I kind of hated it, but it was kind of fun. Like blogging, its addicting.

I've never been much of an IM person. I came of age before IM. The first person I ever IMed with was a friend of mine, Gabe. We had known of each other for years (we grew up in the same town) and had been friends for a couple of years. I had developed an intense crush on him during that time. One day, after I had moved away, we ended up chatting on IM. I somehow got carried away and admitted to him that I had feelings for him. The feelings were not reciprocal, but that is not the point of the story. The point is that this novel form of communication somehow lessened my inhibitions, enabling me to say something I wouldn't otherwise say, so I've avoided it over the years...

One of the sites I posted my profile on was plentyoffish.com. When I checked my email on that site this morning, someone tried to IM me. Usually I ignore IMs, but against my better judgment, I thought, what the heck...and responded. I decided ahead of time that I would limit the conversation to five minutes. That was wise. We chatted for a few minutes. I looked at his profile, which I couldn't figure out how to do BEFORE agreeing to chat with him.

His profile had two red flags. He is bi-racial and dates white women. I'm an equal opportunity dater, probably to my detriment, so I find it problematic when people limit themselves to a particular race. As if it isn't hard enough to find someone as it is...by the time you factor in racial preferences, height preferences, yada yada yada, the dating pool gets reeealllly small.

I checked my email again at around 4:45pm and ended up getting chat requests from three different guys. I figured, what the heck, the work day is over, why not talk to three people at the same time?!! I managed to exchange email addresses with two people, both of whom noticed I was a bit distracted. I flattered the guy who was the cutest for good measure. Anyway, I ended up chatting with the least likely prospect, a 24 year old guy, for an hour. When I say prospect, I mean boy toy prospect. That's not what I was looking for, but after my experience with Dave, I've been left a bit...how shall we say...frustrated and unsatisfied?!!

So, I had my first almost-internet/phone-sex with someone! I've always thought that was silly and never thought I would be into it, but it was kind of fun. We talked on the phone, too, which I normally NEVER do this early. I guess because I knew he wasn't a true dating prospect, I let my guard down.

Unfortunately, or probably fortunately, he lives 30 miles away. Otherwise I would probably be having sex with him - in real life - right now. I am glad he lives far enough away to make that impractical. AND I am so glad that my libido seems to have returned! I don't know if this will be a short-lived fluke or not, but it feels good to be alive!

The strategies and tactics of the Naxalites are there for all to see, but the Indian establishment is yet to understand this agenda of `protracted warfare'.

India's Naxalite movement – to which contemporary Indian Maoists directly trace their lineage – emerged as a wildfire insurrection in 1967 in the Naxalbari area of North Bengal. After a few years of dramatic violence, however, that movement was comprehensively suppressed by 1973, with the entire top leadership of what was then the Communist Party of India (Marxist-Leninist) , either jailed or dead. What little remained of its splintered survivor organisations was destroyed during Indira Gandhi's Emergency of 1975. It was with the formation in 1980 of the People's War Group (PWG) – under the leadership of Kondapalli Seetharamaiah, an erstwhile Central Organising Committee member of the CPI (ML), in the Telengana region of Andhra Pradesh – and the reorganisation of the Maoist Communist Centre (MCC) in Bihar in the mid-1980s, that the movement resurfaced in some strength.

Initial successes were, again, rapid, and by the mid-1980s, 31 districts in seven states were experiencing Naxalite violence. By the early 1990s, however, the problem had been eliminated from at least 16 of these districts, bringing the total number of affected districts to just 15 in four states. Thereafter, the reconstruction of the Naxalites was initially more systematic, with wider areas being targeted and consolidated. In recent years, however, the growth of the movement has been exponential. Thus, at the meeting of what is known as the Central Coordination Committee of states affected by the Naxalite movement, on 21 November 2003, then-Union Home Secretary N Gopalaswami disclosed that a total of 55 districts in nine states were affected by varying degrees of Naxalite violence. Just ten months later, on 21 September 2004, an official note circulated at the meeting of chief ministers of states experiencing Naxalite violence, indicating that this number had gone up to as many as 156 districts in 13 states. By August 2007, the official number had risen to 194 districts in 18 states.

Not all of these districts and states were, of course, seething with Maoist violence. Just 62 of these were categorised as `highly affected', reflecting significant levels of violence. Another 53 districts were categorised as `moderately affected', indicating high levels of political mobilisation and some violence. Meanwhile, 79 districts fell into the `marginally affected' category, in which preliminary political mobilisation was detected. Sources indicate that intelligence estimates now put at least 220 districts in 22 states into the sphere of varying degrees of Maoist influence and activity.

It is important to recognise that the phase when there is violence, which is ordinarily the point at which the state takes cognisance of the problem, actually comes at the tail end of the process of mass mobilisation. This is the stage when neutralising the threat will require considerable, if not massive, use of force. From the all-important preventive perspective, then, it is useful to chart not merely the current expanse of visible Maoist mobilisation and militancy, but also to understand the extent of their current intentions, ambitions and agenda.

`Protecting' Adivasis
The Maoist rampage has been enormously accelerated by the unification, in September 2004, of the two principal parties, the PWG and the MCC, which had long dominated – and contested control over – the purported `Red Corridor', running from Andhra Pradesh to the borders of Nepal. With the PWG and the Communist Party of India (Party Unity) having merged in August 1998, this consolidation of the most significant Maoist formations in the country resulted in augmented capacities to intensify the `people's war' in the country.

Significantly, the CPI (Maoist) has established regional bureaus that are responsible for nearly two-thirds of the country, further sub-divided into multiple lower-level jurisdictions in which the process of mobilisation has been assigned to local leaders. There are at least five regional bureaus, 13 state committees, two special area committees and three special zonal committees in the country. There is also evidence of preliminary activity for the extension of operations to new areas, including Gujarat, Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir and Meghalaya. Moreover, in 2004 the Maoists articulated a new strategy to target urban centres in their "Urban Perspective" document, which offered guidelines for "working in towns and cities", and for the revival of a mobilisation targeting students and the urban unemployed. Two principal `industrial belts' were also identified as targets for urban mobilisation: Bhilai-Ranchi- Dhanbad-Calcutta and Bombay-Pune- Surat-Ahmedabad.

The Maoist enterprise has secured ground in the administrative and political vacuum that extends over vast areas of India, where the state has systematically and chronically failed to provide the public goods and services as it is required to – including security of life and property, criminal justice, and opportunities for social and economic growth. In such circumstances, it is inevitable that another entity would step in to fill the vacuum. It is also inevitable that, in most such cases, such an entity would not be constrained by the limits of law or established procedure in its activism among local populations; as a consequence, such activism will tend to be violent.

The unfortunate reality is that the mechanism of rural administration in areas experiencing Naxalite activity has been made ineffective, wherever it may have evolved beyond the primitive structures of colonial governance. Elsewhere, the Naxalites became active where, due to state incompetence, corruption and criminalisation of the political leadership, the rural administration has deteriorated to the point of paralysis. The problem is compounded manifold in Adivasi and forest areas by an ill-conceived policy of isolation that, under the influence of well-intentioned European social-anthropologi sts, was adopted throughout the country shortly after Independence, with the intention of `protecting' the culture and interests of the Adivasi population.

Such an isolationist policy has been a total failure. It has kept the Adivasis poor and outside the ambit of development, has been unable to protect them from exploitation and abuse, and has deepened economic deprivation through an increasing alienation of indigenous rights over forest produce and wealth. As such, this approach is now long overdue for a re-examination. The vulnerabilities of the Indian state have been compounded further by decades of misgovernance in ever-widening areas of the country, along with the steady erosion of the integrity and efficacy of established institutions of administration and justice. Over the past decade and a half, processes of liberalisation and globalisation have also unleashed a new and fractious dynamic, provoking or intensifying conflict between the beneficiaries of the new economics and those who have been further marginalised by them.

These structural vulnerabilities of the Indian system have helped the Maoists secure tremendous and cumulative successes – despite the occasional reverses, as presently in Andhra Pradesh. These successes are underpinned by the extraordinary strategic and tactical coherence of their movement, which remains little understood within the echelons of political and administrative power in India, and within a large proportion of the security establishment itself. No effective response to the Maoist challenge in India is possible unless this strategic and tactical `understructure' is fully documented and understood.

Weapons and people
In critical need of recognition is the point that extreme violence is an integral element of the Maoist ideology, and not a mere tactical expedient. "Political power", as Mao Tse-tung put it, "grows out of the barrel of a gun." And extreme violence is at the heart of this formulation. "To put it bluntly," Mao noted,

it is necessary to create terror for a while in every rural area, or otherwise it would be impossible to suppress the activities of the counter-revolutiona ries in the countryside or overthrow the authority of the gentry. Proper limits have to be exceeded in order to right a wrong, or else the wrong cannot be righted.

India's Maoists are explicit in their insistence that violence is the only instrument through which their revolution can be realised. CPI (Maoist) General-Secretary Muppala Laxmana Rao (aka `Ganapathy') argues,

the question of armed struggle … is independent of one's will. It is a law borne out by all historical experience. It is a fact of history that nowhere in the world, nowhere in historical development of the class society, had the reactionary ruling classes given up power without resorting to violent suppression of the mass protests … until they are thrown out by force.

Another commentator in People's March, the CPI (Maoist) party journal, contends, "The question is not of violence vs non-violence, but whether it is just to take up arms against a most violent and brutal state … The Maoists say it is just to take up arms as part of the overall process to change a brutal and violent system."

Many in the mainstream Indian political leadership have articulated the hope that the decision of the Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist) to join the democratic process could serve as a future model for their Indian ideological brethren, tempting them away from their current commitment to violent insurrection. Such hopes are entirely misplaced. For one thing, the Indian Maoists have explicitly rejected the Nepali Maoists' `present tactics' – those of joining with the mainstream political system. They warn that these could set in motion "an irreversible process of losing all the revolutionary gains achieved till now". The Indian Maoists also contemptuously reject any suggestion that they could choose, at any point in the future, to participate in what their spokesman, `Azad', described as "the parliamentary pig-sty in India".

India's Maoists are, of course, yet to decide whether the Nepali Maoists' engagement with democracy is a `betrayal' or a tactical innovation leading to an eventual and total seizure of power. If it is the former, the CPN (Maoist) will be seen simply to have joined the ranks of the many `revisionists' and `right opportunists' that are thought to have corrupted the movement through its history. If it is the latter, this new stratagem will be studied with care, in order to determine its utility and the conditions in which it would apply. Such an approach, however, holds little promise of any early abandonment of violence by the CPI (Maoist). If its Nepali counterpart is, in fact, able to secure an absolute seizure of power through it `present tactics', it will only be because the Maoists of Nepal had already created a situation of extraordinary disruptive dominance across wide – indeed overwhelming – geographical areas in the country. The Nepali Maoist's `present tactics' can only be relevant to India in some future situation in which the Indian Maoists have already secured comparable disruptive dominance, and the existing political and administrative order has been pushed to comparable conditions of decay and disintegration – a still-distant possibility in India.

Securing these conditions of decay and disintegration is, in fact, the objective of the Naxalite `people's war', and its principal instrumentality is the strategy of protracted warfare. As the "Programme and Constitution" of the PWG's People's Guerrilla Army (PGA) declared, "The line of protracted people's war is our military strategy," and further, "The PGA firmly opposes the pure military outlook which is divorced from the masses, and adventurism. It will function adhering to the mass line." The `mass line' rejects the `left adventurism' often attributed to the earlier Naxalite movement of the 1967-73 phase, and insists that the military aspects of the revolution are contingent on mass mobilisation. Mao, in "On Protracted War", notes, "We see not only weapons but also people. Weapons are an important factor in war, but not the decisive factor; it is people, not things, that are decisive."
The idea of protracted war clearly recognises the strengths and superiority of the state's present forces and alignments, but recognises, equally, its vulnerabilities. Mao declares,

The enemy is strong and we are weak, and the danger of subjugation is there. But in other respects the enemy has shortcomings and we have advantages. The enemy's advantage can be reduced and his shortcomings aggravated by our efforts. On the other hand, our advantages can be enhanced and our shortcoming remedied by our efforts.

Thus, the CPI (Maoist) document on "Strategy & Tactics" likewise notes,

However strong the enemy's military power may be and however weak the people's military power, by basing ourselves in the vast backward countryside – the weakest position of the enemy – and relying on the vast masses of the peasantry, eager for agrarian revolution, and creatively following the flexible strategy and tactics of guerrilla struggle and the protracted people's war … and following the policy and tactics of sudden attack and annihilation, it is absolutely possible to defeat the enemy forces and achieve victory for the people in single battles.

Front organisations
The Maoists believe that there is, at present, an "excellent revolutionary situation in India", and have clearly declared that "the seizure of state power should be the goal of all our activity". After their 9th `Unity' Congress in January-February 2007, they outlined an inventory of "immediate tasks", to include, among others, the following:

• Coordinate the people's war with the ongoing armed struggles of the various oppressed nationalities in Kashmir, Assam, Nagaland, Manipur and other parts of the Northeast.
• Build a broad UF [United Front] of all secular forces and persecuted religious minorities such as Muslims, Christians and Sikhs …
• Build a secret party apparatus which is impregnable to the enemy's attacks …
• Build open and secret mass organisations amongst the workers, peasants, youth, students, women and other sections of the people …
• Build the people's militia in all the villages in the guerrilla zones as the base force of the PGA [People's Guerrilla Army]. Also build armed self-defence units in other areas of class struggle, as well as in the urban areas.

The Maoist strategy is clearly to fish in every troubled Indian water, and to exploit every potential issue and grievance, in order to generate a campaign of protest and agitation. The principal vehicles for these `partial struggles' are `front' or `cover' organisations of the Maoists themselves, on the one hand; and, on the other, a range of individuals and organisations best described, in a phrase often (incorrectly) attributed to Lenin, as `useful idiots' – well-intentioned persons who are unaware of the broader strategy and agenda they are unwittingly promoting through their support to unquestionably admirable causes. As the "Political and Organisational Review" of the erstwhile PWG noted,

Cover organisations are indispensable in areas where our mass organisations are not allowed to function openly … There are two types of cover organisations: one, those which are formed on a broad basis by ourselves; and two, those organisations led by other forces which we utilise by working from within without getting exposed.

This strategy has already contributed to abrupt and unexpected violence in a number of cases in the recent past, with the role of Maoist provocateurs often discovered much after the event. The impeccable causes embraced in this cynical strategy include caste conflict, and the escalating tensions over the displacement and attempted imposition of special economic zones in West Bengal and Orissa. During September 2006 in Khairlanji, in Bhandara District of Maharashtra, a Dalit family of four was murdered following the rape of two women. Protest demonstrations abruptly escalated into violence with the intervention of Maoist fronts and activists. A subsequent Maoist "Resolution against Dalit Killings in Khairlanji" declared, "The Dalit masses knew that Maoists have always stood with the oppressed. The masses took inspiration from this and intensified their agitation."

While protests against the special economic zones were initiated by various other parties and non-governmental groups, the Maoist involvement was progressively visible. This was eventually acknowledged by Ganapathy, who observed, "One should only be surprised if we are not involved in such life-and-death issues of the masses … Struggles against the SEZs acquiring fertile farmland of the peasants and also huge projects are turning more and more militant … As for our role in such movements, we shall definitely make all efforts to be in the forefront and lead the movement in the correct direction."

Indeed, current Maoist debates and documents condemn the "second wave of economic reforms" as a "violent assault on the right to life and livelihood of the masses", and call for "an uncompromising opposition to the present model and all the policies that are coming up". Internal debates on the issue have further underlined the "need to build a huge movement against displacement and the very model of development itself", and to unite all "genuine democratic and anti-imperialist forces … to create a tornado of dissent that forces the rulers to stop this juggernaut." The issues at stake envisaged for potential mobilisation focus on "development driven through big dams, super highways and other infrastructural projects … gigantic mining projects, Special Economic Zones (SEZs), urban renewal and beautification" .

Within the same pattern, the "Political and Organisational Review" of the PWG noted, in March 2001, that united fronts and joint action committees have prioritised "burning issues of the peasantry such as for water, power, remunerative prices for agricultural produce, against exploitation by traders, against suicides by the peasantry, against the WTO [World Trade Organisation] , and on worker, student, women, Adivasi and Dalit issues." Thus, further, "issue-based temporary joint activity with other forces has been the general form of UF [United Front] undertaken by our Party at various levels." Suitable issues are not picked up randomly or opportunistically, but are based on extensive `investigations' into `social conditions and tactics', and are meticulously reconciled with the broader Maoist strategy and agenda.

As noted previously, these various causes are laudable, and no one can be faulted for extending support to demands for greater equity, justice and access in these spheres. For the Maoists, however, these campaigns are an integral component of their strategy of political consolidation, necessarily leading to military mobilisation. In Maoist doctrine, these `partial struggles' are no more than a tactical element in the protracted war, and they have no intrinsic value of their own. These `struggles' create the networks and recruitment base for the Maoist militia and armed cadres. Where partial struggles thrive, an army is being raised. These `peaceful' or sporadically violent movements are eventually and inevitably intended to yield to armed warfare. The objective is to "isolate the enemy by organising the people into various cover organisations and build joint fronts in order to mobilise the masses into struggles to defeat the enemy offensive". Army formation, the Maoists insist, "is the precondition for the new political power", and "all this activity should serve to intensify and extend our armed struggle. Any joint activity or tactical alliances which does not serve the cause of the peoples' war will be a futile exercise."

The "Urban Perspective" document envisages the formation of `Open Self Defence Teams' and armed `Secret Self Defence Squads' in urban areas. For the latter, the document notes, "One significant form of activity is to participate along with the masses and give them the confidence to undertake militant mass action. Other tasks are to secretly hit particular targets who are obstacles in the advance of the mass movement."

The Maoists are – and have long been – working in accordance with a plan. This gives their movement great strength; but to the extent that this design is well known, it also makes the Maoists enormously vulnerable. Regrettably, while there is a handful of officers in the security and intelligence establishment who are aware of the details of this design, the general grasp in the security and political leadership at the state level and at the Centre remains weak. There is, moreover, the added constraint that the Maoist strategy exploits the vulnerabilities of constitutional governance and its freedoms, and the security apparatus has only limited instrumentalities of containment available in the initial stages of subversion and mass mobilisation. The response of the Indian state remains trapped in an `emergency response paradigm' that has little relevance in dealing with the protracted war strategies of the Maoists.

Taxis is an old industri. There has not been much innovation in that business during the decades. But I heard a great story the other day about painting some taxis in New York red and sell them out for half the price, since there drivers can´t find there way in New York. So all their passangers need to guide them to the correct adress.

But painting Taxis red is a bit to much I think. Think smarter and simpler like this instead.

Same basic idea. But hang up a red flag on each side of the regular Taxis roof instead. In that way you can use an regular Taxi but less skillfull drivers that are under education instead. The passengers still have to guide them to find their way. Same 50 % price reduction.

Another way to further develop this idea is to use brand new demo cars which they rent for a very low price from the car sales companys. Since they actually are marketing their cars, promoting test drives and delivers salesprospects. Same basic idea but the Taxi driver will be the active passenger and presales guy instead. For security they use their own Camera/GPS/Phone to take a picture and register the driver, their mail and phone number but also to check their drivers license. So they won´t have to install a full Taxi kit. Might be a good idea to take a simple drug test aswell.

Great Idea to make to an innovation for a upcoming Taxi company or Car Sales Company.

Good luck

After reviewing my last post, and going through all the emotions that I went through while writing a

After reviewing my last post, and going through all the emotions that I went through while writing and reading and thinking; I realized that I have to show some love to my brothers. I said, "Its some brothers out there just as good as all the bad." I need to show them some love. I need to show myself some of these brothers so that I can counter the bombarding of all the negativism and no longer perpetuate the negativism, ya dig. Huh? Eh?

So yeah, I sat. & I thought. & I came up with a list of 2! I came up with a list that I thought was definite & true.
Until....
In preparation for this here post, I did a lil research. & I realized.. well I asked myself, Why are negative things so BIG to you and positive things so easily disregarded?? For after a lil research, I watched my unconditional, undying love and admiration for these brothers dwindle into complacency.

In pondering why, I recalled that I've often been told that I am too picky. I often take the phrase as an insult because its undertone is that I have too high of standards for my state of being. Why can't I have high standards? I inquire. Why am I deserving of less? Why should I settle? I expect magnificence from my brothers and sisters because we are just that. As are all of God's creations. I expect it from myself as well, which is why I have to wonder: Am I ridiculously negative?

Journey with me in the thick, twisted, gritty travels to enlightenment of self on improperly inflated wheels of thought churning in my mind. Here is the list:

1) TAVIS SMILEY
Loved because: He's so passionate about black people. I love how when nigga network aka BET dropped him, he evolved to be a more productive, self-made media outlet. The Covenant with Black America. The State of the Black Union... and on and on and on.....
Dwindled into complacency due to: Pretty sure he's hiding his long-term white girlfriend that he's scared to bring out to the forefront for fear of backlash from the black community (purely speculation from why a man of his supposed caliber is seemingly single) and GOSH DARNNIT HE'S THE EPITOME OF A NIGGA :(( PEEP THE HATE:

2) DR. CORNEL WEST
Loved because: Beautiful. Scholar. Intellectual. Hip-Hop supporter. Civil Rights Activist.
Dwindled into complacency due to: ( same as tavis :(( )

So, at this point, I'm like wtf. Jealousy from hatred is the core of the nigga. The very core. Here, the very two brothers I held in highest regard are: hating on the soon-to-be first black President PUBLICLY & ALONE for absolutely no reason. I'm baffled. Not only am I baffled, but I am thoroughly disappointed. It's too coincidental to me. It's almost purposed. I CAN'T THINK OF ANY ONE MALE I ADMIRED LIKE THOSE TWO. And here they are, right on time, waving their self-hatred flags. (Both men are so jealous of the future President, whom resembles their skin tone, that they would at nit-pick like jealous school girls to try to tear down what they view to be the embodiment of perfection in attempt to mask their own feelings of inferiority.)

So this incident forced me to look deeper and add some more black men to the list:

3) 08 PREZ
Loved because: How can't you? Simply amazing. Wildest dreams come true.
Dwindled into complacency due to: Fear of disappointment. I have this weird Uncle Ruckus "Don't Trust Them New Niggas Over There" feeling (which I brush off as pure embedded niggerism) that keeps me from getting too comfortable with him. Still you won't catch me publicly hating on duke. I'm able to recognize the nigga within and rebuke it, ya dig. Huh? Eh?

4) ILLSEED
Loved because: My goodness, he's my favorite blogger. Love his expression of his point of view in editorials. Loves how he sneaks some intelligence in the super-popular, entertaining rumor jibber-jabber. Able to agree with his point of view more times than not.
Dwindled into complacency due to: Naw, I love him thus far.

5) G. GARVIN
Loved because: Handsome black man that can cook.
Dwindled into complacency due to: NO LOVE LOST, know nothing else about him.

6) BEST FRIEND
Loved because: Awesome husband to his wife, father to his child. Great example to youth. Walking success. All around good, stand-up guy & the Only one in my social realm.
Dwindled into complacency due to: NEVER THAT

So in conclusion, me overly negative?: I think not.
You know how if you are a honor student, you bring home As & Bs all the time and your parents are so proud of you, everything's great. But let you slip up one report card. Let you bring home 1 F out of all of the hundreds of As & Bs and maybe C sprinkles you've brought home, and they are going to flip out. Why such a big deal?, you wonder. You cant' fathom why this 1 F out of all of the As & Bs is such a concern of theirs. But this is why: It is a red flag. It is a flag signaling that something is potentially going wrong and needs to be corrected immediately. That's what nigga moments are to me with prominent black figures. Red flags. Nigga moments with run of the mill niggas, ok. But with prominent, pro-black, this & that, award-receiving, accolades-mounting, speech-giving, book-writing mo-fos. Red freaking flag.

Now, we’ll look at some proofs, and attempt to unpack what else might be going on! So, we

Now, we'll look at some proofs, and attempt to unpack what else might be going on! So, we've been doing an assessment. Basically, it's been a really long assessment, and aided by my pals over at No Quarter, and the Confluence. I've been reading them since about January as this whole election thing unfolded. And, like many, had no idea who Obama was and is? So, quietly, I think we have all been watching and writing, and a clearer picture is emerging. What I like best about it, is that I can see Americans in action because this election is so important to us. It's the biggest election of our lives in way? Okay.

So, what a therapist does is something called a "mental status exam" -- the first few sessions? You can pretty well tell what the immediate things are? It takes longer to make a diagnosis. Time, and observation. So, here is a little book, and this is a PhD in the web -- we can reference this -- and we'll make a proof? By looking at things that have actually happened! You can get to Sam Vaknin's website here.

We were talking about the myth of Narcissus, over the last few days. Funny, look who is on that book cover! Remember how we were talking about the gaze and the mirror? There you have it.

There are four components Mr. Vaknin has written about, and if you click the link above you can read the brief article, it's very succinct. We will be using these as proofs? Of the behavior,

Omnipotence

"...The narcissist believes in his omnipotence. "Believe" in this context is a weak word. He knows. It is a cellular certainty, almost biological, it flows in his blood and permeates every niche of his being. The narcissist "knows" that he can do anything he chooses to do and excel in it. What the narcissist does, what he excels at, what he achieves, depends only on his volition. To his mind, there is no other determinant..."

Here is a video interview, and the text from "The Bourbon Room" -- he has "NO DOUBTS" He just knows! At the Bourbon Room, they unpack it for us.

Obama “Never” Has Doubts About Foreign Policy Experience

"...CBS News correspondent Lara Logan interviewed Obama in Kabul, Afghanistan, today and it aired on CBS’ Face the Nation. Logan made news, first in asking Obama if he ever had any doubts about his foreign policy experience. Obama, as this post’s headline says, gave a one word answer that may inspire as many as it scares: “Never"..."

This statement was one of the first red flags. I think I watched this over at NQ? Remember how we were talking about the Depressive position? Well, that allows a person to "have doubts" about their descisions. They'd have to check out their "opinion" with others. To see if it could fly? This type of OMNIPOTENCE is very difficult. They would not be able to "take advice" because they are RIGHT, always. Because they JUST KNOW. AND THEY ARE NEVER WRONG.

Omniscience

"...The narcissist often pretends to know everything, in every field of human knowledge and endeavour. He lies and prevaricates to avoid the exposure of his ignorance. He resorts to numerous subterfuges to support his God-like omniscience.

Where his knowledge fails him – he feigns authority, fakes superiority, quotes from non-existent sources, embeds threads of truth in a canvass of falsehoods. He transforms himself into an artist of intellectual prestidigitation. As he gets older, this invidious quality may recede, or, rather, metamorphose. He may now claim more confined expertise.

He may no longer be ashamed to admit his ignorance and his need to learn things outside the fields of his real or self-proclaimed expertise. But this "improvement" is merely optical. Within his "territory", the narcissist is still as fiercely defensive and possessive as ever.

Many narcissists are avowed autodidacts, unwilling to subject their knowledge and insights to peer scrutiny, or, for that matter, to any scrutiny. The narcissist keeps re-inventing himself, adding new fields of knowledge as he goes. This creeping intellectual annexation is a round about way of reverting to his erstwhile image as the erudite "Renaissance man"...

Can you see the potential red flags? He has not had enough time as a Senator to understand the Military. He can "bluff" and "pretend" that he knows these things, because he IS NEVER WRONG. To admit being wrong would cause the EGG of "defences" to implode? In other words, if he is wrong, or perceived as wrong this would trigger the RAGE? Being RIGHT means that he has a SELF. (This is the egg shell part -- that thin surface that needs the "GAZE" and "APPROVAL" of others. Think about what you saw in the video above, especially the last part.

Omnipresence

"...Even the narcissist cannot pretend to actually be everywhere at once in the PHYSICAL sense. Instead, he feels that he is the centre and the axis of his "universe", that all things and happenstances revolve around him and that cosmic disintegration would ensue if he were to disappear or to lose interest in someone or in something.

He is convinced, for instance, that he is the main, if not the only, topic of discussion in his absence. He is often surprised and offended to learn that he was not even mentioned. When invited to a meeting with many participants, he assumes the position of the sage, the guru, or the teacher/guide whose words carry a special weight. His creations (books, articles, works of art) are extensions of his presence and, in this restricted sense, he does seem to exist everywhere. In other words, he "stamps" his environment. He "leaves his mark" upon it. He "stigmatises" it..."

Yesterday we looked at the BIRD, and what had become of the LOGO. It is now like a shield, it is one the airplane, and imagine how the logo has been everywhere and everything to all people. People have taken his logo and done custom designs with it? This would please this Personality Type no end, because all of these little "logos" are under his WINGS? -- all are encompassed within the GRANDIOSITY, and so all become what are called "PART OBJECTS." -- SELF OBJECTS who APPROVE (the GAZE) -- here is the YES WE CAN, part. Only WE, are seen as part of the "I" -- there is no differentiation? That is the part about "THE ONE."

Narcissist the Omnivore (Perfectionism and Completeness)

"...There is another "omni" component in grandiosity. The narcissist is an omnivore. He devours and digests experiences and people, sights and smells, bodies and words, books and films, sounds and achievements, his work and his leisure, his pleasure and his possessions. The narcissist is incapable of ENJOYING anything because he is in constant pursuit of perfection and completeness.

Classic narcissists interact with the world as predators do with their prey. They want to own it all, be everywhere, experience everything. They cannot delay gratification. They do not take "no" for an answer. And they settle for nothing less than the ideal, the sublime, the perfect, the all-inclusive, the all-encompassing, the engulfing, the all-pervasive, the most beautiful, the cleverest, the richest, and the most brilliant.

The narcissist is shattered when he discovers that a collection he possesses is incomplete, that his colleague's wife is more glamorous, that his son is better than he is in math, that his neighbour has a new, flashy car, that his roommate got promoted, that the "love of his life" signed a recording contract. It is not plain old jealousy, not even pathological envy (though it is definitely a part of the psychological make-up of the narcissist). It is the discovery that the narcissist is NOT perfect, or ideal, or complete that does him in..."

This part above is showing you how a SENSATE type moves through life. Remember how we were talking about what a THINKING SENSATE was going to look like? This is it above. So, all the publicity, magazine covers, posters in his name, media hype, hypnotized followers and so forth all FEED into the GRANDIOSTY covering what is actually an EMPTY FALSE SELF.

The empty false self is where we will go next -- stay tuned...

Okay, so we left off at the mother wound and abandonment by the father at age two. We’ve mad

Okay, so we left off at the mother wound and abandonment by the father at age two. We've made the assumption that there has been domestic violence at a pre-verbal stage, negative introjects and RAGE as core to the infant's self. Let's take a look at Malignant Narcissism, to review and attempt diagnosis, by floating a theory...(yes, pals, this is how we do "it" as therapists...)!

Narcissistic Rage

"...Common to malignant narcissism is narcissistic rage. Narcissistic rage is a reaction to narcissistic injury (when the narcissist feels degraded by another person). When the narcissist's grandiose sense of self-worth is perceivably being attacked by another person, the narcissist's natural reaction is to rage and pull-down the self-worth of others (to make the narcissist feel superior to others). It is an attempt by the narcissist to soothe their internal pain and hostility, while at the same time rebuilding their self worth. Narcissistic rage should not be confused with anger (although the two are similar), and is not necessarily caused by a situation that would typically provoke anger in an individual.[4] Narcissistic rage can be explosive or passive aggressive.[4]

Narcissistic rage also occurs when the narcissist perceives that he/she is being prevented from accomplishing their grandiose fantasies.[citation needed] Because the narcissist derives pleasure from the fullfillment of their grandiose dreams (akin to an addiction), anyone standing between the narcissist and their fullfillment of such accomplishments may be subject to narcissistic rage. Narcissistic rage will frequently include yelling and berating of the person that has slighted the narcissist, but if strong enough could provoke more hostile feelings.[citation needed] Narcissistic rage is frequently short lasting, and passes when the narcissist rationalizes the shame that they felt..."

Going back to the concept of "egg" as SELF -- think about how fragile an egg is? The "egg" as a symbol hasn't hatched yet, has it? So, we have this very "unhatched" self, that hasn't "been born." Yet. That would be the dynamics going on this kind of disorder because of all the splits? This personality feels constantly under attack by outside forces? As if any "negation" of it (the egg) of the SELF, means that it doesn't exist? So it has this VERY PRIMITIVE RAGE that it holds inside, along with a total emptiness.

Going back to the mythology of Narcissus, we know that this individual seeks "THE GAZE" from a MIRROR. Without this GAZE coming back at them -- they do not exist? They are seeking the GAZE that they needed from "the Good Mother" and her "feeds" of "the good breast." -- Unfortunately, the "breast" was not available in infancy and so, later, the individual seeks the GAZE they never had?

We were alerted to the aggressive tendencies early on, as the gestures against Hillary Clinton unfolded on televison, before us. Giving her the finger like that, would be an example of the passive aggression. We have also seen that there have been no apologies forthcoming -- towards Hillary Clinton or Geraldine Ferraro. Instead they have been "attacked" because they challenged the "grandiosity" of the self-concept.

The egg, is born from a bird. So it is very easy to see that bird symbolism as it has developed -- especially here, at this link

When you look at the art, you can see how the bird has been evolving -- at first it was a very faint image in the "wallpaper" of the website -- almost imperceptible...but as the campaign has gone on, the bird developed into the fake SEAL we all saw. This bird is the wish for the mother, and as you can see in that art, the logo is now at the "breast" or internalized heart of the perceived mother? The bird appears to be "hatching" from the corpse of the old mother if you look to the shadowy shape at the upper left.

This is about the Grandiosity increasing, as the public adulation increased... this is not the myth of the Phoenix bird though -- it is bird wishing to be flown away by a new mother? That would be the public's gaze lifting the "egg" Of the SELF -- see the logo, from the "corpse" of the negative mother?

I know, it's deep. Stay tuned! This is part five, and there have been four previous parts. The things I have seen in this election cause me concern. Enough concern to do an analysis.

I was watching the Olympics the other day and all of a sudden I thought I was having a flashback to 1972. There was a male American swimmer winning lots of gold medals. The USA was not running away with the overall medal count, and in fact, needed to worry about possibly losing to some God-less communist country with a red flag having some symbolic yellow stuff up in the corner. There was even an obnoxious know-it-all guy wearing a toupee in the studio. This proves I probably need to start wearing my glasses when I watch television, but that's not the point.

I might have been the only one, but I was more worried after the break up of the Soviet Union. Oh sure, it was great being on the winning side of a war, but I knew the good feeling would quickly disappear. When there is no enemy who stands a real chance of ruining your day (remember that whole mutually assured destruction theory) then you will be viewed as a bully by everyone else -- not that very many people in the State of Texas would view that as a bad thing. If that wasn't enough you will also inherit a lot of your enemy's problems. Just ask the Germans how much fun it was to fund reunification, or ask the majority of the general populace of Houston if they want to keep their displaced Katrina victims permanently.

To illustrate my point back in 2004, and I know I wasn't the only one, I found myself actually rooting against our men's basketball team. Many of the members of that team were viewed as narcissistic thugs who thought they deserved to win just because they had shown up for the game and don't get me started about expecting them to practice. Not only that, but even before the Athens Olympics began everybody already knew the USA would win both the gold medal and overall medal counts. Where's the excitement in watching that?

But there is a God and all is right with the world again! We have a cold war and a communist enemy who is actually very good at a lot of Olympic sports. Oh sure, the cold war happens to be with the Russians while the athletic enemy happens to be the Chinese, but I say poe-tay-toe, poe-tah-toe. The Olympics are fun to watch again and my kids can worry about being invaded by another country -- just like I did. Ah, the nostalgia of the good ole days. I think I'm going to go out and get a feathered butt-cut tomorrow!

Today the red flag part of the olympics was released :) you can find the red flag at breakwater beach =D

If you do not have the secret key to go to breakwater beach then you can find it by ghost raying a tree in presto's edge or one of the rocks in presto's grove. I will try to get images

and if you do not have a ghost ray power you can get it from the jaguar god at the tangle vine jungle and you'll have to play his game. The jaguar ghost is at the end of tangle vine

Once youve completed the game of flight, it anounces that the olympics are over and you did great and the sweat, tears ETC. paid off :) Then they give you the olympic jump suit set :D

I don't want to be too political, but a dove in the Peking opening ceremony? They are using a symbol of peace and love, and even has religious significance (the Holy Spirit). Are we all just going to say "that's nice" and pretend that Tank man and the massacre never happened?

On a technology related note, Google, Microsoft and Yahoo are all helping provide the software that the regime needs to filter the internet (the great firewall of China) and find those that seek Democratic change in the country.

The job interview is supposed to be the time when you showcase yourself and how good a fit you are for the company. But you can surreptitiously try to get a real sense of the organization if you play your cards right. Basically you want to know what the real deal is to working there. If you think it is just like they are advertising on their website then you must be crazy. Every job has downsides and if the people you meet during your visit are open enough to tell you the nitty gritty then you should feel pretty good about working there. It is the ones who shy away from saying anything bad that would worry me.

During the part of the interview when they ask you if you have any questions start by asking what the challenges are to working at their company. Whenever I ask this question in an interview I almost always get some cheesy response about how the organization is so dynamic that some employees have a hard time keeping up. Many times I think this is code for, 'many people aren't willing to put in all the overtime this job actually requires.'

Once their generic answer is out of the way you probably have no more than two chances to find out the specifics. Your first follow-up question should be along the lines of, 'I was wondering more about the nuts and bolts of day-to-day work. Are there any specific aspects of working here that people find unpleasant?' If that doesn't get you some specific answers then your last shot should be to provide some examples that are priorities for you (perhaps parking, noisy cubicles, friendliness of HR). This should be a last resort, though, since the other people will probably only answer your specific points.

Remember: Most jobs are bearable at best, especially if you are young and entry level. Smart employers won't own up to the difficulties and great ones will.
