Sorry about obsessive posting on quiz results! I just can't resist. I thought maybe writing an actual thing not about results of quizzes of awesomness would be fun for now. So far from yesterday my life hasn't changed that much. My mom did finish Twilight though and loved it! o_O I'm just happy she liked it. I just wish parents weren't so weird all the time.

I have no interest in reading a book about vampires. ~Claire's mom

You were saying? XD This is an odd sweet revenge for me. But then again odd that my mom is reading Twilight... It feels weird.

I have this friend, who we will call Mark. He has a full-time job and a girlfriend whom he is very faithful and dedicated to. He reads approximately a book a week and reviews them for GR. He enjoys playing video games often and perusing comic books. Even with his full-time job, full-time girlfriend and love-affair with literature as well as video games, he has time to do Kyudo - a really rare and ancient Japanese archery and form of martial art.

It leaves me wondering... why don't I have time for all of this? What is keeping me so busy? I don't have a child. I don't have a second job. What is my problem?

So let's see: I have a boyfriend. I have a family. I have a house that I help take care of. I go to work. I'm finishing up school. I could still fit in Kyudo, right?

[caption id="" align="alignright" width="187" caption="Cleanliness is Godliness."][/caption]

And then last night, as I was folding laundry I had an epiphany. Cleaning! That's my hobby. I clean. When I'm upset, I tidy. When I'm happy, I fold laundry. I generally like to do the dishes as soon as I'm done eating. When other folks are upset at me, I turn on some music and re-arrange things, clean shelves and fix my always-messy closet.

That sounds weird but here's the thing. Since middle school: My mom and I would clean the house, I'm talkin' deep cleaning, every Sunday while my dad was at work. Habit. Habit. Habit. It is now deeply engrained.

Postpartum Obsessive Compulsive Disorder is one of the lesser recognized perinatal mood disorders.

Postpartum Obsessive Compulsive Disorder is one of the lesser recognized perinatal mood disorders. It affects approximately 3-5% of new mothers. This disorder can be especially frightening and disturbing for the woman affected.

Women suffering Postpartum Obsessive Compulsive Disorder are plagued by disturbing, intrusive thoughts and mental images, often of their baby being harmed. These thoughts are so persistent and graphic that they cause great anxiety and guilt in the postpartum woman. She develops ritualistic, compulsive behaviours to help assuage her guilt and overcome her anxieties.

Symptoms include:

Obsessively searching for information online, in books or through medical professionals

Avoidance of normal, routine behaviours for fear of harming her baby. For example, a woman may have persistent mental images of a horrific car accident and therefore refuse to let the baby ride in any car.

Obsessively checking on the baby, even waking up several times to do so.

Overwhelming guilt and blaming oneself for these disturbing thoughts.

Women with Postpartum Obsessive Compulsive Disorder are not at risk of harming their babies. They are deeply troubled and disturbed by thoughts and images of their baby being harmed. They have irrational fears about their baby's safety and feel there is danger lurking around every corner. They feel a sense of helplessness to protect their child and overcompensate with these obsessive behaviours.

If you or someone you know may be suffering from Postpartum Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, contact a family physician or other health professional immediately.

(Typed while listening to Al Mohler's program)

Last Saturday, my beloved M and I went to our agreed-upon wedding cake supplier to place a down payment for our cake. We've already been there twice (was it?) before, but still we spent a good amount of time going through their photo album. We were looking at the different designs even though we already had a certain idea of what the cake would look like - yea high, all edible, etc.

Instead of just pointing at the pictures and saying, "I want that... I don't like that... Change the color on this..." I took it upon myself to give way to my so-called obsessive-compulsive nature. (Frankly, I have no idea where people get the notion that I am OC.)

I took a pen (my pen actually, since I always carry a pen with me - I feel naked without my pen) and drew the cake on a piece of paper the supplier lent me. My beloved M commented that I took particular pains to make sure the ellipses were perfect. I took several sneak peeks at my watch while I was sketching (I always make sure I wear a watch; I feel naked without my watch) to make sure I don't spend too much time. In the end though, I came up with a very good sketch of a cake. (My architectural training probably had something to do with it.)

Why did I do that? I did it because I didn't want to get into any misunderstanding with the supplier. Including all necessary details in the sketch means that there will be less chances of making a mistake. I'm glad I did it when I saw the form the lady at the cake store gave me to fill out. It had a little square where customers are supposed to put their cake details in.

I don't think all my details would have fit in that box.

Just rambling.

Okay, I admit: I am obsesssively addicted.

No, not meticulous. Just excessive, with a hint of ego.

And I drink coffee. Lots of coffee.

My current TV show obsession: Frasier. Yes, all 11 seasons. In the space of 2 weeks.

The toll of work and food is exorbitant right now.

I only need Frasier, coffee and washing my hands. Nothing comes in the way of that.

So, imagine my pleasant surprise when I found out that I am indeed, by only being myself and without deliberately trying, a loyal patron of Café Nervosa:

The cafe's name, Nervosa, is a feminine Italian and Latin adjective meaning "nervous", as well as a psychological term meaning "the debilitating psychological addiction to an object, belief or behavioral pattern." It can also refer to "coffee nerves" – a condition caused by drinking too much coffee.

Why the Frasier addiction? And why all the coffee? And continuous hand washing?

I will answer the first why with the "Ham Radio" episode:

Here's Part 1.

Part 2:

And Part 3.

The coffee is a lifestyle choice.

The continuous washing of hands lunacy.

Many organizations call gambling addictive. But there are other things that need to be attended at priority basis instead of stopping people from enjoying a game at online casino. These other things often lead to years of therapy sessions, unlike online casino.

Many people say that gambling is disastrous. Recently, I happened to go through some magazines that recommended abstinence from betting. They say gaming affects the brain and that you tend to become an addict. They also say this syndrome is high if you play in online casino. Recently, many countries banned betting as it spoils the youth. Other states banned online casinos to prevent frauds.

But is there any real logic behind such thinking? I mean, nobody can spoil you unless you want to get spoilt. And frauds are everywhere. Even in the highly reputed government departments, you can find cheats and frauds thriving. Are people utilizing the state resources for their personal ends fair enough?

Banning the games leads to even more corruption. The games run backdoors. People are even more inclined towards the games when they can't find it. This leads to unfair games and thereby chaos in the minds of youth. What if they start playing these online casino games in the school library? We cannot keep the fault with the youth. They are curious and they fancy everything. I cannot see how playing games can lead to corrupt minds.

In our state, we play games to get together and to wind off. We make friends at the blackjack and we meet our friends at the pool table. I wonder what other options are left to the youth who is not allowed to play betting games. They too need excitement and may take up incorrect fancies if not allowed to enjoy.

The NGOs say that online casino players tend to ruin their lives in the expectation of big winnings. How correct is this? I have seen people running after a particular course for years and still failing to procure a college seat. They waste their precious years trying and trying for the same thing. They could have easily made their lives in some other field if they had been smart enough. Going crazy and wasting the important resources over a single thing: Is this not addiction? Then how harmful is the online gaming?

Many workplaces and colleges do not let you use networking sites from there premises. The last thing some people do in a day is to check their mails and all the networking sites where they are members for new posts. Whenever they wake up during the night, say for water, they will check the mail again. This is true; I have many friends who do this. The first thing they would do in the morning is to check the mails again. Such repetitive actions are called compulsive disorders in the medical fields. Does this mean that email is more dangerous than the online casinos?

Then there are people who can't live without their cell phones. They brought the cell phones so that they can stay in touch with their friends and colleagues. Then they start talking and checking for messages every now and then: they check it during the sleep, they check it on the breakfast table, on the road, during driving, office, schools everywhere. They are bound to be distracted from their studies and work. Then this happens that they can hear their phones ringing even if it is not. Such problem is termed hallucination in the medical terminology. Is online casino more disastrous?

The bottom line is not that I am trying to prove anything. This is just an analysis of how bad things can be. There are many things and habits that are more addictive than the online casino. But then, they are accepted in the society. Then why are you not allowed to have a game peacefully? Why is there such a hue and cry about the online casino and addiction?

Obsessive Compulsive Disorder is a crippling disease both mentally and physically. There are no ou

Obsessive Compulsive Disorder is a crippling disease both mentally and physically. There are no outward signs, like a raging virus, it eats at you every waking moment and yet for most people who suffer from this disease they suffer in silence, alone, ashamed to tell anyone, and the toll that it takes on the body is at times to much to bare. It affects millions of people on a daily basis who struggle to carry out simple day to day tasks that most people take for granted.

As an example, imagine just for a minute you need to wash a load of clothes, for most this would be a simple task, put the dirty laundry in turn the washing machine on and you are done. But for someone struggling with the big O, it might sound a bit more like this; you load the washer, then take the clothes back out because they were not right and then you reload the washer and it still is not right so maybe if you are lucky enough by the fourth time you are actually able to turn the washer on. As crazy as this may sound, this is just one small example of the many repetitive tasks in the life of a person with OCD.

You set out on what for most would be a simple walk, as you begin to take your walk, all starts well but then a sudden rush comes over you and you have to back up from the starting point and start again, that simple walk around the block that would take most people 5 minutes could take someone struggling with OCD a half hour or more. Dishes, sweeping, typing, brushing their teeth, washing their hands, shopping, every task to someone with OCD is like a grueling hard day's work over and over again. This is just a small look into the daily life of someone suffering from OCD.

Why is this done, well, for someone suffering with OCD, if these rituals are not done, then the fear of something terrible happening either to them or to the ones they love is so enormous that it trumps any logic our brain conceives. In a sense, people living with OCD are warriors of sorts in their own minds, feeling as though by their thoughts or actions they can stop or for use of a better description control what will happen. Now imagine living with this disease and hiding it from others as well, not only are you living in a constant state of pain but knowing that you can not stop this coupled with the embarrassment and shame of trying to hide it from those you love is utter madness. When I say pain, once again

How do I know this, I suffered for years from this disease, and my daughter now suffers as well.

I however was cured, not thru therapy, but thru a life tragedy that finally made me realize that know one has that type of control. For this reason I am writing a book in hopes to share my story with others and hopefully help others who suffer from this. My daughter still continues to suffer probably with what I would say what is a more severe case then mine. I do what I can to help her, she has sought out professional help but it is a struggle, it drains her daily of her energy, it is agonizing for me not only as her mom but as someone who has been there to see her go thru this.

For those who suffer from this know that you can beat this, you can get your life back, it is not easy, it is a battle, but you can win this battle. My struggle with OCD began when I was about 12 years old, it lasted for over 25 years, in the midst of my battle I developed complex spinal problems and I am sure the years of stress placed on my body from the OCD played a role in the deterioration of my spine. I feel fortunate today not only to have conquered OCD but I am also blessed to have a fantastic group of doctors keeping my spine in tact. I am currently recovering from an ACDF which saved from being paralyzed. We all have many things in our lives to be thankful for, but so often and so easily we let daily stresses ans worries stand in the way of our happiness. One of my favorite quotes from Wayne Dyer sums it up best. "When you change the way you look at things the things you look at change".

A new study reveals the over-obsessive brain may be an underactive brain. And here I was thinking if your brain can remember to wash hands crazily every other minute, or to smell everything that comes your way, then you're super-super active (brainwise).

However, researchers did conduct studies on affected and unaffected patients (by OCD) and found that those affected showed 'reduced activity' than those unaffected. Scientists encourage friends of those exhibting symptoms to get help as early treatment can help. So here we have it- OCD can really harm you.

27 06 2008

First, Roy Fields is back! Others leading has been moving, but there is something about him that changes the atmosphere. Roy, welcome back. Second if you are in Lakeland Fl on the 4th of July there will be free food. From 4-7pm, next Friday there be a celebration with free food. This will also lead into a water Baptism service. I am just thrilled for both of these events. The first shows a desire to reach out to host community and give back to those who have given so much. As important, the second is another example of how Fresh Fire and Ignited are taking care and shepherding those who are making profession of faith under their leadership.

Another fun fact, there is now a medical doctor who is reviewing all the medical reports about healing. The desire for accountability and integrity is great in Lakeland. One of the assistants said there is a four step process for those who take the stage professing healing
1 Pastor volunteers from around the world, screen and test, those who claim to have received healing
2 This is then relayed to those who bring the person on stage, to ensure what is shared is consistent
3 After they are on the platform, a survey is filled out with symptoms, sign of healing and contacts.
4 FOLLOW UP! 1-2 weeks a phone call is made to see how they are doing.

Just some random quotes form Todd Bentley… he really does use the name of Jesus.
(This is just a sample, to show who the glory goes to)

“We are encouraging people to see doctors after healings. I believe in medicine”
“It is the power of Jesus. We are powerless without the power of the Holy Ghost
“Can we give thanks to Jesus for this.”
“We want to give all we can, leally, to the media to give the glory to Jesus.”
“We give all the glory to Jesus”
“Can we give Jesus all the glory tonight?”
while praying for healing, “Two new ankles in Jesus mighty name”

30 Reasons for Healings #16-30 (all verses NIV)

16. He does what he pleases – God is sovereign and healing happens because God chooses too.
17. Charitable Giving- (whole chapters but verses) Acts 9: 36 In Joppa there was a disciple named Tabitha (which, when translated, is Dorcas), who was always doing good and helping the poor and Acts10:2 He and all his family were devout and God-fearing; he gave generously to those in need and prayed to God regularly. Based on these verses miracles happens as a direct result of charitable giving. It would seem that when we take care of the pour, God reaches and extra measure of the miracles.
18. The Gospel – Mark 16:19-20 He and all his family were devout and God-fearing; he gave generously to those in need and prayed to God regularly. Healing is good news and, according to Todd, the Gospel is the power of God as well as the message of salvation
19. I am a friend of God’s – John 15:15 I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you. God hears the prayers of His friends. What do you do for your “true” friends? The deeper the intimacy with God, the deeper the friendship. Is God your friend, because there seems to be many who understand Jehovah but do not understand Abba. Abba, is the characteristic of a deep personal relationship.
20. The Glory of God – John 11:4 When he heard this, Jesus said, “This sickness will not end in death. No, it is for God’s glory so that God’s Son may be glorified through it.”
21. The cures of the Law – Romans 8:2 because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life set me free from the law of sin and death. Healings show that you free from the law of sin and death.
22. Desperation: Mark 5:27 When she heard about Jesus, she came up behind him in the crowd and touched his cloak, Sometime people need a touch so bad they push trough to get it. “if only this small amount” They are the ones who are desperate enough to reach out and get healed

23. Connection locked up

24. Name of God – Exodus 15:26 He said, “If you listen carefully to the voice of the LORD your God and do what is right in his eyes, if you pay attention to his commands and keep all his decrees, I will not bring on you any of the diseases I brought on the Egyptians, for I am the LORD, who heals you.”

25. Communion – 1 Corinthians 11:29-30 For anyone who eats and drinks without recognizing the body of the Lord eats and drinks judgment on himself. 30That is why many among you are weak and sick, and a number of you have fallen asleep. This would seem to be a reason why you are not, but if it bring sickness maybe it bring healing (my thought on it, time was short so the last were real quick)

26. Gift of the Spirit- There was no verse give to justify this, but 1 Corinthians12:9-109to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by that one Spirit, 10to another miraculous powers, to another prophecy, to another distinguishing between spirits, to another speaking in different kinds of tongues,[a] and to still another the interpretation of tongues.

27. The name of Jesus – Triune God, Jesus is God see #24

28. The nature of the Holy Spirit – God creates when the Holy Spirit the Holy Spirit moves. It was after Genesis 1:2 Now the earth was [a] formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters. That God said, “Let there be light.” IF the Spirit lives with us, then he is moving, we should expect creation (new body parts is creation).
29. I am Saved – James 5:15 And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise him up. If he has sinned, he will be forgiven. Faith is a gift of the Spirit and only saved people have this. So salvation, brings faith, faith brings healing. And, yes because Jesus forgave my sins.
30. Kingdom of God- Mathew 6:10 Your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. There is no sickness in the Kingdom, God preformes creation in His kingdom, there are miricals in the Kingdom, let it be so here

These are the second half of the 30 reasons, each with scripture refrances. People you may not like Todd Bentley, but please be careful arguing against the word of God. For those around Todd, let him know I said “thanks for the teaching, it has meant a lot to me.”

On a personal note: I blew out my knee today, while walking down some stairs. It hurt to move or even put pressure on it. Tonight, during the broadcast, I WAS HEALED. Proof of this, I wrote this whole blog standing up.

http://allenwilson.wordpress.com/2008/06/27/florida-healing-outpouring-with-todd-bentley-30-reasons-for-healing-16-30/

Mark 16:17 And these attesting signs will accompany those who believe: in My name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new languages;
Mark 16:18 They will pick up serpents; and [even] if they drink anything deadly, it will not hurt them; they will lay their hands on the sick, and they will get well.
Mark 16:19 So then the Lord Jesus, after He had spoken to them, was taken up into heaven and He sat down at the right hand of God.
Mark 16:20 And they went out and preached everywhere, while the Lord kept working with them and confirming the message by the attesting signs {and} miracles that closely accompanied [it]. Amen (so be it).

In contrast I read on the net what the bullies, bashers say about healings, miracles.

http://hiscrivener.wordpress.com/2008/06/28/faith-healers-could-encounter-a-setback-at-the-altar/
http://kimolsen.wordpress.com/2008/07/01/george-banovs-blasphemous-prophecy-at-todd-bentleys-ordination/

It should be clear to most of us, the bad guys do not like my pages still.. it shows them in their true light.. the bad guys, bullies, bashers or what ever?

THE WAY MANY FUNDAMENTAL EVANGELICAL AND SUPPOSEDLY PROFESSING CHRISTIAN CRITICS TRY TO MAKE FUN AT OTHER CHRISTIANS IS SICKENING, A VERY POOR THEOLOGY AND IS SADLY NOW ALSO TYPICAL OF THE MUCH TOO OFTEN FALSE BASHING OF THE PENTECOSTALS TOO! It clearly makes me think that Satan himself is behind most of it still too.

And what about the Phoney wars and phoney peace by the professing Christians now too..
http://anyonecare.wordpress.com/2008/05/30/why-is-toronto-airport-christian-fellowship-angry-still/

As to bullies question to me.. ““are you ranting”… my how you still do like to bash, insult people.. you do not know them even well enough to falsely even try to judge them, your approach is quite immature and unspiritual too.. looking for a big fight cause someone had stepped on your sore toes.. http://thefocusonthefamily.wordpress.com/2008/08/12/more-about-control-freaks/

I certainly hope you do not profess wrongfully to be a Christian to anyone, cause you do not act like it for sure… nor do I hope you abuse all the people like that who make a post here.. a sure way to next lose many people still too. Stay in God’s love and not rather in the flesh.. we may not agree, do have a right to differ, but we still do need to show love to the others. Need more input from me on the subject.. I have it detailed even on 5 internet sites.. "

It is very clear that the much too many false Critics of the Pentecostals will try to grasp at any straws to falsely bash the Pentecostal and still try to justify their own immoral acts..

Any Christian being plagued with critics, opponents, unsubstantiated personal attacks too now, is really nothing new even to the past apostles, prophets , Jesus Christ himself who have face many similar bullies, groups etc., the devil is too ready an accuser of the Brethren, and tries to continually discredit any work of God even since the time of Jesus Christ himself now too even using inapplicable and distorted Biblical reasons and Bible verses now too.

I also would not take any criticism even seriously by persons who admittedly even admit they are opposed to all charismatic’s gifts, speaking in tongues included, and the persons who do not acknowledge even themselves now having never received a clear, specific baptism of the Holy Spirit firstly, and also especially when also they themselves have not attended these meetings, or the meetings any of of the latter rain churches..

A MAJORITY OF THE CRITICS OF THE LATTER DAY REVIVALS, are too clearly their now too often diverting back wrongfully the topic discussions, and themslves making often personal insulting, unacceptable derogatory remarks and even their evidently their typical unChristlike bullying Reponses, self righteous, a superiority attitude, and what else? is not the right approach from anyone and it does continue to reflect poorly on ALL OF THEM STILL too…

THE WAY THEY THEMSELVES DO UNDENIABLY POINT FINGERS AT THEIR SELF DEFINED OPPONENTS, IN A JUDGMENTAL MANNER, UNLOVING, UNKIND, UNJUSTIFIABLE MANNER IS CLEARLY THE MORE IMPORTANT ISSUE NOW TOO. And very revealing what they are firstly like themselves
http://anyonecare.wordpress.com/2008/06/23/understanding-me-and-others-better/

"I have read in the last month every wordpress site, and many others sites openly bashing, abusing, slandering the Florida revival, Todd, the latter day Pentecostals and yet to date I personally have not read, seen one valid criticism, decent presentation at all.. what a great shocker.. It all seems more like little immature, jealous kids still fighting over which one of them will be the greatest in the kingdom of heaven and who will be last.. what a real absurdity. I myself though have opposed Todd Bentley's associated with some really bad pastors, trying to make money form selling items at the revival.. and his false application for divorce..

Hey Critics, Don't get desperate but get real... like I have rightfully said I also would not take any criticism even seriously by persons who admittedly even admit they are opposed to all charismatic’s gifts, speaking in tongues included, and the persons who do not acknowledge even themselves now having never received a clear, specific baptism of the Holy Spirit firstly, and also especially when also they themselves have not attended these meetings, or the meetings of any of the latter rain churches..

I did not say Charismatic supposedly churches.. cause we know those often mean rather the Catholic Pentecostals..

I have been a Christian for 50 years and a Pentecostal pastor for the last 30 years, and I have attended the latter day churches too and often.. and specifically what about you? not the supposed others..

The Latter Rain movement was rejected by the AOG Pentecostals in 1948 as heretical... and what they are speaking for God now.. dream on.. There are other pentecostal persons, denominations who support them, approve of them, me included. The AOG has it's own falsehoods, and problems it needs to look at.. (Mat 7:3 KJV) And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?

The Full Gospel Business Men's fellowship uses a similar latter rain approach for decades now too.
Too many persons are bashing other Pentecostals with clearly a hidden agenda, jealousy, and it is still the wrong thing to do so now too.. they are not even doing it in love or humility Cleary as required by the Bible now too. "

Even because Evangelical Fundamentalism, dispensationalists, too often also replaces the worship of God , the Holy Spirit, Jesus Christ with the sole worship of the Bible, bypassing the works of the Holy Spirit it seems, though most Fundamentalists will deny that. Liberalism, too, replaces the worship of God, and of the Holy Spirit, Jesus Christ with the worship of something else. In the case of Liberalism, however, the worship of God was replaced by the worship of mere human reason , and both groups are not that far apart, for they are are in error.
Fundamentalists worship every word and letter in the Bible. Actually, they worship their own private re-interpretation of scripture (compare 2 Peter 1:20). This is the same error that the Pharisees fell into. They ended up worshiping Torah more than God, and, even more than Torah, they worshiped their own interpretations (and the interpretations of the elders) of Torah. (They still do so today, only now they have codified those traditions into the Talmud.) Likewise, so do Fundamentalists worship their own interpretation of Scripture. http://anyonecare.wordpress.com/2008/06/29/hard-to-tell-the-difference/

Reality! These days it is too hard to tell the difference between secular persons and even evangelical pastors, elders, deacons too for they all seem to do the same bad things too.. adultery, alcoholism, gossip, slander, divorce..

And when I see shallow arguments of anyone still limiting today as to what God today can do, even through us, EVEN ABOUT HEALING, it makes me rightfully also think how shallow their Christian faith now really is.. they are still babies in the Lord and need someone to teach them the whole truth, the whole , full gospel too, for my God can do anything, Jesus is the same , yesterday, today and forever.

He replied, “When it becomes a problem.” He was then asked, “When will it become a problem?” To which he replied, “When I smoke two at a time.” AND look at all the false justifications for Spurgeon’s sin.. and do see also alcoholism the unacceptable sin

When you talk about what the scriptures says you honestly should also point out that you mean it is how you now interpret what the scripture says.. cause too many of us read different things out of the same scriptures as we all do know firstly..

The people who also tell us to use only the Bible often still lie further to us.. they ask us also to use men’s commentaries, instead of the Holy spirit to next interpret the Bible.

(Eph 4:18 KJV) Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart:

I tend to look at both sides of the issues myself.. for that matter I have now been both non Christian, and Christian, both Baptist and Pentecostal, and both groups still do have major errors, weakness, inadequacies, and they now also have some good points too.. but still there is no such thing as a perfect denomination now as well

But one other thing often is clearly is evident to me visiting, reading the many so called Professing Christians sites mostly all telling us the supposed truth, postings often more with dishonest hidden agendas, poorly researched too, very biased now too.. It also seems to me they are also still are trying to convince themselves as to what is the truth is and no one else, they build up their own false straw arguments, and then do reply to their own arguments. It is generally too often now not an honest presentation, discussion of the topic they have presented. http://slaughteringthesheep.wordpress.com/2008/07/01/todd-bentley-gets-annointed-by-special-oil-from-africa/

>>Pastors are going there by the droves. I know one personally. He went to Toronto to bring some of “it” back and he’s done the same thing with Lakeland. I think he thinks this will be the answer to filling the seats in his church, "http://christiantheology.wordpress.com/2008/06/30/depart-from-me-i-never-knew-you/

Did he really tell you that or are you in truth distorting, lying, falsely judging him and many others cause you are a controling person ?
I see nothing wrong in going there and I am real Christian now too

The nonconformer replied "I never knew you, is not a criticism by Jesus that the healings, miracles done by the person(s) were false.. but a true statement that they really never knew Jesus fully or personally, it seems to apply to you now firstly too. For no pastor, evangelist, healer IS PERFECT TO START OFF..

You are so sensitive to others being supposedly false, cause you clearly are false, now take the beam out of your own eye first.. Someone is wrong here and I don’t think it is that difficult (except perhaps for you) to determine who that is and that is you.. for you do twist Bible verses, slander, falsely quickly bash others to suit your own views..

Clearly Judas was an Apostle, better look at the definition of an Apostle, an Apostle is not an unchristian person.. and he was next replaced in the book of acts by another Apostle. The fact that Jesus knew that Judas would betray him does not mean he was not anointed.. but first better look at the meaning of the word anointed now.. one who evidences the Holy spirit.. with signs and wonders Acts 10:38

If you do not let the Holy spirit lead you as to what a verse actually means you are part of the Blind leading the blind now, forget trying to say the scripture cannot be wrong, rather you are wrong.. "You throw the term free will around as if it does not need to be defined. " and yet you clearly in desperation rebuttal quoted back a verse that has nothing to do with one's free will.

"You have contradicted now three times the Word of Jesus," and what a further false and wrong, judgmental act on your part too, you so easily condemn a person whom you do not know, never met, another real Christian, a real Christian now over 50 years too, and I have been pastoring now for over 3 decades as a Pentecostal pastor too. So get a real life. Really do get Jesus."

Why is it so many people try too limit the power of God, and they work so hard to try to tell us what God can and cannot do today.. for sure, definitely it is not only cause they are spiritually immature, have a hidden agenda, are promoting themselves, or they are unoriginal parrots who repeat what others have said , but it is often still mainly because Satan for sure is behind all this too.
http://postedat.wordpress.com/2008/07/04/discern-it/
Evangelical fundamental parrots often need to quote someone else cause they do not know the Holy spIrit well enough to let him lead them, even the truth about healing. I SPEAK FOR MYSELF. http://pbulow.tripod.com/healing.html
Is 45:5 I am the Lord, and there is no one else; there is no God besides Me. I will gird {and} arm you, though you have not known Me,

(Jer 32:27 KJV) Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?

Beware always of men and women, bullies, tormentors, control freaks, persons, civil and public servants, politicians, pastors, leaders, elders, who falsely do, will try to enslave you, oppress you, exploit you even while they claim they are proclaiming the truth, democracy, trying to help you, etc.,
I undeniably could not help but notice on even the web too how supposedly British religious clergies, scholars, Christians, falsely also do bash American Pentecostal revivals? It is not being done out of jealousy too?
I have been on the net for over 2 decades, and I have thousands of readers regularly reading my posts. Hey I too have often said that there are many professing bashers, bullies, liars now even on the Christian internet and they think they alone can make the rules, enforce the rules on others, and that is too bad for them too for they need to grow up.. and to firstly get used to the right of free speech of others, other's right to be heard and to male their own posts .. I only have about 30 internet sites written often for these bad hypocritical Christians now too so hopefully they too will learn the truth about themselves.. too bad guys do not like me to use my right of free speech.. so what else is new.. they by their bullying, control freak approach clearly show to all what hypocritical Christians they rather are! They are not humble servants of Jesus for sure.

Our actions must be founded on what we know to be true from God’s Word, and that what is being directed us personally to each one of us by the Holy Spirit, and to do that we all still do need to continually in reality live a Holy Sprit filled life. it starts by daily reading the Bible, having a Bible devotional, and sadly even most pastors do not do that too.

Mark 16:17 And these attesting signs will accompany those who believe: in My name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new languages;

I did not say Charismatic supposedly churches.. cause we know those often mean rather the Catholic Pentecostals..

as to what the Bible says is only how you here do interpret it.. not the Holy Spirit.

I have been a Christian for 50 years and a Pentecostal pastor for the last 30 years, and I have attended the latter day churches too and often.. and specifically what about you? not the supposed others..

Is 51:23 ..your tormentors {and} oppressors, those who said to you, Bow down, that we may ride {or} tread over you; and you have made your back like the ground and like the street for them to pass over.

They are not humble servants of Jesus for sure.

isn't it great that we all can have the same right to make a post now and the same right to have it read by others now too?

All Israel Shall Be Saved?
by Steve Wohlberg
Romans 11:26 says, “And so all Israel will be sav

All Israel Shall Be Saved?

by Steve Wohlberg

Romans 11:26 says, "And so all Israel will be saved." What does this mean?

Obviously, it doesn't mean every Jew will be saved. In fact, the same chapter says God hopes to "save some of them" (vs. 14). Judas was a Jew, yet we know he will be lost for betraying Christ. Jesus called him, "the son of perdition" (John 17:12). Jesus told many Jews, "If you do not believe I am He [the Messiah], you will die in your sins" (John 8:24). Not every Jew believes in Jesus Christ, thus many will "die in their sins" and be lost.

Many Christians today interpret Romans 11:26 as applying to the end of the seven-year tribulation when Jesus appears in the clouds at His Second Coming. In other words, they don't apply the verse to all Jews throughout history, but only to "all Jews" who are alive at the end. Supposedly, at the end of the tribulation, all remaining Jews in Israel will look up, see Christ coming in the clouds, realize He is the true Messiah, believe in Him, and thus "All Israel will be saved."

This is a false teaching, as I will attempt to show.

First, the context of Romans 11 is not the Second Coming.

"There is no partiality with God" (Romans 2:5-11). It would be an act of partiality to save "all Jews" at the end, but not "all Jews" in history. The idea is, "When all final Jews see Christ coming in the clouds, then they will believe." But this would give those final Jews a supposedly irresistible opportunity to believe in Jesus Christ which past Jews have not had. Nor would this be fair to "all Gentiles" living at the end. Why would God save all Jews at the end but not all Gentiles? All Gentiles will see Jesus coming just like all Jews.

When Christ finally appears in the clouds, IT'S TOO LATE TO BELIEVE IN HIM. Rev. 22:11,12 says that before He comes in the clouds, all decisions have already been made. Jesus said it will be like Noah's day (Mat. 24:37-39). In Noah's day the door of the ark closed before the flood came (Gen. 7:16). When the flood came, it was too late. To save all Jews AT THE SECOND COMING would be like saving all those outside the ark WHEN THE RAIN STARTED FALLING.

When Jesus comes in the clouds, this is the time of judgment upon ALL unbelievers who don't know God nor obey the gospel (2 Thess. 1:7-10; Jude 14,15).

So what does this mean, "All Israel shall be saved"? First of all, Romans 9:6 says there are two Israels. one is an Israel according to the flesh (Romans 9:3,4) and the other is the Israel of God (Galatians 6:14-16). The Israel of God is composed of both Jews and Gentiles who believe in Jesus Christ (Gal. 3:29). Gentiles who believe are grafted in. They become part of the "same body" with believing Jews (Eph. 3:6). Paul calls this unity of believing Jews and Gentiles, "the mystery of Christ" (Eph. 3:4).

The immediate context of Romans 11:26 is vs. 25. When "the fullness of the Gentiles has come in," then "all Israel will be saved." Or, to be exact, "And so all Israel will be saved." In other words, the coming in of the fullness or total number of the Gentiles results in "all Israel" being saved. Paul's idea seems to be that when all Gentiles (totally, throughout history) have come in, that is, have been grafted into the Vine, they, uniting with all Jews who have become believers, will form the total number of the saved. Paul also reveals that when Gentiles come in, God can use this to motivate some Jews to believe (verses 11 & 14). Vs. 25 calls this whole thing, "this mystery," which we have already proven to be the "mystery" of both Jews and Gentiles being united in one body through Christ (Eph. 3:4,6). Vs. 27 says all are saved because Christ takes away their sins through His covenant, which must be the New Covenant, which applies to all believers, Jew and Gentile. Thus the "all Israel" that is saved is the total group of believing Gentiles and Jews combined.

The "all Israel that is saved" does not apply to all Jews throughout history, nor can it apply to a select favored group who become instant believers when Jesus Christ comes crashing down through the sky. By that time, it is too late to believe.

It's selfish! It's sinful! It's obsessive! It's wrong! It's ME!

I can't stand me! The reason I can't stand me mostly has to do with my obsessive tendencies. Seriously... I'm borderline stalkerish when it comes to people (particularly those that I like), and I'm borderline OCD when it comes to Solitaire. I purposely put myself in situations where I might get to see or hear about so and so, and even when I'm not in those situations I'm thinking about them. It's really quite frustrating. I don't want to be a stalker. I should just stop talking to boys. I should just stop looking at boys. I should just stop living in a world that has boys. That doesn't work so well though... it would pretty much require me to die. *sigh* when it comes to solitaire, I play for hours and hours just so I can end the game with a positive score (because I play on cumulative score, and I lose a lot.)

I just want to be free of this! What's the female form of a eunuch? Maybe I should be one of those.

--------------
pre-edit

cause I know this is just me being emotional, and probably tired, I don't think you should worry about me. God has blessed me with this understanding that I am free from all this sin. Christ died so I can be free from this disease of self. I just need to accept it, and live accordingly, which is hard to do when my focus is on me and not God. I think I like it a lot better when I'm writing incredible posts and poems when my spiritual walk is going really well, but I guess I'll let you see me weak too. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

Oh yeah... pretty much every post I write is a prayer request :-) Thanks

Posted by Tilia

Last night was interesting. The Guitar Guy saga is already sort of going stale at this point, but it's important for me to say that for the past three months, the flirtation going on there has been a collection of some of the sexiest, most intense moments I've ever experienced, and it's really tragic that

a.) he has a girlfriend

b.) he now knows that I know about her and

c.) that I launched this blog after all the good stuff

Last night, it seemed like things were finally going to ramp back up to normal. That's really all I can hope for now, is that things end on a good note, rather than the initial happy-ending I wanted that involved an empty box of Trojans and several variations of the verb "to worship."

So, when, at the beginning of the evening, he came to order food from me, and did it by walking at me until I was against a wall, and we stood nearly nose-to-nose, speaking about perfectly polite things, such as whether there would be bacon on the hamburgers, but with under-toned smiles that suggested so much more.

He asked me if he should pay right then, and I told him it was up to him, and then basically made the decision for him by taking his credit card. I think, in retrospect, that he wanted to drag out the process so he'd have further excuses to come talk to me, but honestly, we should be beyond that point by now, and were before the Great Revelation.

He said, "Just make sure you bring it back to me," and I responded, "I always do," with a bit of confusion. He muttered something about having to chase me around for it, and I turned around, holding the card to my chest and said, "Would you?"

He flashed me a smile, and assured me, "you bet."

So, that all went off without a hitch, and I danced around the first band set of the evening, thrilled with the indication that things were going back to the way they were, and should be, all the while flashing (and receiving) sex eyes to the stage.

When one of the back-up singers ordered from me a little later, I hurried her order so I would have an excuse to see him, but when I got backstage to drop it off to her, he looked slightly dejected, and handed me my credit slip, letting me know that he was just on his way down to give it to me.

I suppose there would've been more banter if he'd made it to the deserted side station rather than having to hand it to me in the well-lit green room, but, yeah, he doesn't need an excuse to come hit on me, and he should know that.

So, a bit irritated, I went to the bar to put in more orders, and was standing at the computer, with my back to the bar while he stood at the bar with his back to me, getting water from the no-nonsense Lead Bartender, a short, black woman with very little use for romantic ideals or people who move slowly or without efficiency.

I didn't hear this, because I was pissed off and distracted, but apparently she handed him his water, pointed to me, and said, "You two back together yet?"

Now, that's enough to make me die by vaporization. Who told her? No one? We're that obvious? What?

But, apparently (and mercifully), his response was to be startled, then immediately slightly amused, and he responded, "Oh, no ... not quite yet."

If you'll allow me to bullet point again, this is awesome because

a.) He didn't even attempt to pretend that he didn't know what she was talking about

b.) he was amused, not horrified

c.) he used the modifier "yet." This is exactly the answer I would've given.

However, I spent the next several hours obsessively demanding more detail from the waitress that overheard the exchange and reported it to me. I feared that this confrontation would freak him out and distance him more, etc. etc. etc.

True to form, the eye contact was slightly more restrained for the remainder of the night. Not as bad as Tuesday's absurd "look, get caught, jump, stare and the ground for the next ten minutes" routine, but not to full scale by any means.

At the end of the night, when he was all packed up and ready to go, I dawdled around so I could say goodbye. He tried to disregard me, so I stood and waited for him to turn and acknowledge me, and I said, "are you taking off?"

A bit stupidly, he joked, "Taking off my clothes?" and I said, "What right here?"

He laughed and said, "A little later on. It's a private show."

"Oh," I said, cracking a smile. "Is that an invitation?"

Which clearly startled him (two points for me), and he started muttering some nonsense about getting paid off by a table, which I asked if it was one of mine, and then upon confirmation said that it usually is.

Out of mercy, I cut him off before he could ramble any more ridiculousness, and asked him if he were taking off for the weekend, which is what I originally meant. He said no, that he'd be there on Saturday, and I said,

"Good. I only ask because I'm leaving in two weeks."

"I know," he said, "It's sad." and I shrugged, wanting to let him know that it doesn't necessarily have to be.

"Well, if I don't see you -," I said, and hugged him. It was important for me to get a hug in there, as we used to hug constantly and inappropriately before the Great Revelation, but hadn't since. So, this was the first one.

He told me he was going to stick around and have a drink. So, I wrapped up quickly and hung out downstairs while he drank and talked to EVERYONE IN THE ROOM BUT ME.

This marginally irritated me until he mentioned to my roommate (who is a Libra, and it was relevant to the conversation) that both of his parents are Libras, and then while she was responding, muttered under his breath, "As is my current girlfriend."

At this point, I snapped, "Okay, time to go," and grabbed my bag, grabbed my roommate, and swung out of the club. I hope he feels like a dunce about it. It's really unfortunate every time I realize just how human he is and just how nervous I make him.

It's hotter to feel like there's this supernaturally sexy guitar player who wants me, and that's the most complicated thing about it.

Jenna and I got home, and then drank wine and talked about other lost opportunities to Gwags, that have always ended in too-little-too-late scenarios on their parts, where years later they confess to wanting us so badly then but how they tried to "do the right thing," blah blah blah.

I'm still kind of dejected about the whole thing, but at least, since it's the Other Guitarist tonight, I'll be able to focus on making money and not obsessing over making out.
