<p>You have to be a certain age to appreciate a car like the Ferrari 599. Oh, not just because even the smartest, most dedicated of us will have to work decades before our salaries approach the realm necessary to afford this car. There's another reason.</p>
<p>You have to know what sex feels like.</p>
<p>You don't drive this car. You dance with it. You love it, romance it along the roads, building to a crechendo in each gear. You merge together, man and machine combining into something bold, beautiful and heroic. It makes you feel like a god.</p>
<p>The Ferrari flows along mountain roads like liquid mercury, blasting along at speeds that astoundingly fast and incredibly controlled at the same time. Colors seem brighter, sounds seem sharper as the Ferrari's V-12 races through its range with orgasmic fury. This isn't a car, you realize. This is a state of mind.</p>

<p>Of course, when you're paying at least $318,045 for a car, you'd hope for a pretty transcendent experience - and not just in terms of how it handles the road. You want that baby to be perfect, inside and out. Thankfully for Ferrari (and for humankind), the 599 pulls it off. Inside, anything not covered in contrasting cowskin is made out of carbon fiber. If you're worried about damaging the leather, you may want to invest in some gloves, because the urge to touch everything in sight is hard to fight. You'll be hard-pressed to find leather smoother or softer in any wallet.</p>

<p>But it's more than just the quality of the interior that makes this car a gleeful place to wile away the miles - it's the styling, too. Vents jut out of the center console like afterburner nozzles on an F-15. Every control falls directly to hand, importance dictating proximity to where the driver's hands should be. Shift paddles? Right at 9 and 3, an inch away from your index finger. The button which drops the car's sequential manual gearbox into automatic mode lies down where the cupholders would be in a lesser automobile, far enough away to make you think twice about pushing it. And the radio lies concealed beneath a retractable plate, out of sight and mind. Press the plate, and it slides up like Iron Man's mask - but like that mask, any millionaires planning on on taking their new toy out for a spin would be better served keeping it closed.</p>
<p>Of course, no review of the 599 could be complete without mention of the marvelous <em>manettino</em>, the small red switch on the lower right of the steering wheel. While it might look like the sort of device used to launch missiles against Tupolev Tu-160 bombers, it in fact controls an arsenal of on-board electronic systems, from how fast the transmission swaps gears to the stiffness of the suspension. Five settings are available (although Nigel Tufnel's car goes up to 11); turn it all the way to the left, and your Ferrari is ready for driving on icy roads (ha!), whereas turning it all the way to the right disengages everything traction control, stability control and everything short of the power steering to give you the full Han Solo experience. I kept the dial in the middle position - "sport" - the whole time, and I expect most people will do the same.</p>

<p>As for the car's exterior, there's been plenty of discussion in the automotive world as to whether the 599 is as pretty as it could be, with some going as far as to call it "ugly." While it may not be the prettiest car on the road, it certainly has presence, and anyone who's seen it in the flesh and still calls it "ugly" could probably use a vision check or a whack upside the head.</p>
<p>Then again, it's probably wise to give people the benefit of the doubt when it comes to the car's appearance - they'll have to be pretty quick to catch a good look at it, given its performance figures. In their September 2008 issue, Car and Driver ran a Ferrari 599 GTB from 0 to 60 miles per hour in 3.3 seconds, and blazed the car through the quarter-mile in 11.2 seconds at 131 mph. (Interestingly, C/D mentioned in the article they thought Ferrari might have slipped the 650-horsepower engine from the Ferrari Enzo under the hood of the test car in place of the 599's specified 612-horsepower V-12, but considering every other test of the 599 - including an earlier one by C/D - displayed similar acceleration figures, it seems more likely to me that the folks at Maranello are simply understating the power figures on the 599's 6.0 liter engine out of respect for the Enzo.)</p>
<p>Of course, power corrupts, and in the Ferrari's case, the atmosphere ends up getting the bad end of the stick; the EPA rates the 599 at 11 miles per gallon in the city and 15 on the highway. This may be a little optimistic; Car and Driver managed to eke out only 9 miles per gallon in their comparison, and a recent test by British TV show Top Gear found the Ferrari capable of only 1.7 miles per gallon during a five-car track race. (You can see footage of the latter <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wnfYr4Dp86k&#38;feature=related" target="_blank">here</a>.)</p>
<p>But in the end, it doesn't matter whether the 599's engine makes 612, 620 or 650 horsepower. Even for the folks who forked over enough money to buy a nice house and waited two years for their car, the numbers are, in the end, beside the point. The point of the Ferrari 599 is that it is, right here and now, the evolutionary peak of the automobile. No other car synthesizes state-of-the art technology with raw emotion to such magnificent effect. Should you ever find yourself tripping over a thirty-pound gold nugget and wondering what to do with it, I've got a damn good suggestion for you.</p>

On the way there while pulling up to a stop light the car “made a noise” and then poof! up in flames. The blaze was quickly brought under control and extinguished by the local fire department. But it wasn’t over for Martin, he still had to make a phone call to Paul, the owner of the car.</p>
<p>He rang me and said, ‘Your car’s just gone up in flames’. At first I hoped he was joking, but I soon realised he was serious. I asked him why it had happened and he said he had no idea. Martin’s worked here since he was 15 and he’s a great guy. It’s obviously not his fault – so I’m not going to hold it against him.”</p>

<p>Is there anything wrong with the GTB Fiorano? Is it so ugly or so slow or so powerless that it needs major upgrades? I think most of us wil answer the same. Which is no, by the way. Maybe Fiorano is not the prettiest Ferrari ever, but it's doing okay. So why Hamann insisted to modify this car? Well, as long as they make it better,I don't have any ojection to it.Hamann tried to change the GT looks on the Fiorano to become more aggresive, so they fitted the car with front skinny spoiler at the front, side sill panels, roof spoiler which continues the air into the rear wing creating more grip to the car.And they put three-pieces diffuser that is actually works in this kind of car and not just for fashion.<!--more--><br />
On the engine, they fitted high performance sports header which amazingly added 53 Bhp to the Enzo engine.To match all the modification's above, Hamann replace the stock rims with the "Edition Race" mesh wheels. Now the grand tourer on the Fiorano is gone, replaced with a true supercar looks.</p>

<p>Dziś spałem więcej niż przez poprzednie 3 doby razem :) jakieś 6 godzin snu potem na 4 do roboty i znów jakieś 4-5 godzin snu, wow czuje się wypoczęty, rwą jeszcze trochę mięśnie /ostatnio robię za fizola/ ale powoli dochodzę do siebie :)</p>
<p>Czasem coś musi trząchnąć człowiekiem aby oprzytomniał, mnie ruszyło jak ostatnio przeleciałem trzecie skrzyżowanie na "wczesnym" czerwonym i spojrzałem na szybkościomierz - 140 to stanowczo za dużo jak na jazdę po mieście i to wcale nie po jakiś szerokich mostach czy arteriach. Nic tego nie tłumaczy nawet to że wracam z pracy po 16 godzinach roboty i jest 3 w nocy.</p>
<p>Tak więc wrzucam luz, po raz kolejny i już ostateczny /mam nadzieję ze dotarło do zleceniodawcy/ odmówiłem dobrej roboty - pieniądz to nie wszystko, czasu za niego nie kupię a szaleńcza jazda nie jest w moim typie :)</p>
<p>Matka idzie do szpitala na poważną operację we wtorek /szczęściem raczydło nie wróciło/ tak więc za trochę sajgon ale nic strasznego /mam nadzieję/</p>
<p>Jeszcze ze dwa wpisy w indeksie i będę studentem 2 roku /pełny szok/ zdałem, cały czas się temu dziwię :)</p>
<p>I najciekawsza sprawa dodatkowy fakultet w ramach GTB chyba, muszę spytać dr Jarka jak się go realizuje bo dostałem kartę zaliczeń sesja żywca 2008 od miłych Pań z roku które zadbały o moją możliwość edukacji browarnej :)</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Publicznie podziękować chciałem wszystkim co brali udział w tym szaleństwie, nawet tym co przyszli tylko na preludium :) bo dla mnie liczy się że przyszli, dzięki temu wiem że są z nami. Niestety jak to w życiu bywa nie każdy mógł z tych co chcieli być a szkoda.</p>
<p>Było trochę elementów z gorączki sobotniej nocy oraz prawdziwa jazda bez trzymanki :) ryczenie do mikrofonu własnej improwizowanej wersji rasputina dla wspaniałych koleżanek które swoimi cudownymi trelami głaskały moją duszę próżność i ego trochę wcześniej :). Generalnie od dawna miałem ochotę na karaoke :&#62;</p>
<p>Najbardziej dla mnie dziwnym momentem było jak jacyś nieznani mi kolesie chcieli abym im pomógł przy ich utworku ?? Nie wiem skąd mieli taki pomysł, ale to też było fajne /przynajmniej jak dla mnie/ i chyba akceptowane przez resztę ludzi w knajpie, bo żadne warzywo w moją stronę nie poleciało. Swoją drogą to dziwne.</p>
<p>Dr Jarek dotrzymał słowa uskutecznił wersję alternatywną 1b i mieliśmy własny kocioł piwa, wersja 1 /właściwa/ mówiła o własnej beczce z nalewakiem na stole,  zaś wersja 1a  forsowana przez właściciela knajpy mówiła o dorobieniu na nasze potrzeby na końcu lady nalewaka.</p>
<p>Nie bójmy się tego stwierdzenia spójrzmy prawdzie w oczy wypiliśmy antał piwa i było mało !!</p>
<p>echh to się nazywa zakończenie stresującego semestru :)</p>
<p>kto i co robił więcej nie napiszę dyskrecja wrodzona /było bardzo bardzo fajnie/ ;) tańce na stole, mamy mistrzynię rzutek, niestety w piłkarzykach nas pokonali, acha po raz pierwszy /być może to nasza zasługa/ podczas moich co dwutygodniowych bytności w norze powstał parkiet taneczny :) stołu pełnego w pewnym momencie pizzy chyba nie warto wspominać ? za to dostawca zdawał się być jakiś zdziwiony że do knajpy pizze niesie :)</p>

<p>tak w natchnieniu potterowskim myślę sobie jaką bym miał różdżkę?  Wychodzi mi że niezwykłą :) jako rdzeń mieszanka Cannabis indica i Humulus L  :) zaś ona sama może z brzozy albo z wierzby koniecznie z rękojeścią zrobioną z korzenia jałowca obłożonego tłoczoną, szorstką skórą</p>
<p>Z potterem nieodłącznie kojarzy mi się mój Teść :) i to bynajmniej nie z powodu jakiś jego czarodziejskich zdolności a pewnego stwierdzenia. W czasie początkowego szału potteromani parę lat temu, jak mały czarodziej wszędzie był reklamowany, promowany itd Teść stwierdził tak:<br />
idę po ulicy potter<br />
włączam radio potter<br />
w telewizji potter<br />
zaglądam do kibla a tam potter :)</p>
<p>Po latach w końcu, w poprzednie wakacje przeczytałem całą serię żeby zobaczyć jaką powieścią się zarabia duże pieniądze i o ile pierwszy tom i drugi były niezłe, o tyle kolejne to już /jak dla mnie/ były pisane na siłę. Dobrze że cykl został zakończony, przy czym w ostatnim tomie czuć ulgę autorki i powrót do pierwszej jakości.</p>
<p>Pomimo że jadę zaraz na ciężką rozmowę to nadal słońce, aż do niedzieli nie zapowiadają chmur żadnych, podobno w niedzielę może boleć głowa przez spodek ciśnienia podniesionego w sobotę i odgorzały mogę być od wiatru ale to raczej miłe zmiany pogodowe :&#62;</p>

<p>Ciekawe czy tym razem się powiedzie. Szkoda że poprzednie "wiersze" wyszły już z czapki było by pewniej, nie wiem co zrobię jak wpadnie pani na pomysł aby wrócić do relacji czy co tam miałem poprzednio, może być śmiesznie :D niby sobie odznaczyła że umiem ale kto ją tam wie??</p>
<p>Wszyscy  z kim się kontaktowałem i jutro idą na matematyczną spowiedź kują na blachę, a ja znów bloga piszę :) zboczenie jakieś czy co :)</p>
<p>Apokalipsa - straszne dochodzą mnie wieści, ciężkie schlania, mroczne wizje jakieś, nawet plany samobójstw też są ogłaszane, szlochy i płacze to norma, nie rozumiem jak można jakiś głupi egzamin tak ciężko przechodzić /nawet matmę/, shiza jakaś :(, może dlatego nie rozumiem bo nie zależy mi na ukończeniu studiów z czerwonym paskiem, ba w ogóle na ukończeniu mi nie zależy chyba... a przynajmniej mi tak wychodzi jak czasem wpadnie mi do głowy pomyśleć o tym :)</p>
<p>Moja wizja jest prosta wszyscy zdają matmę bo czemu nie? reszta wizji niestety się psuje bo GTB w większości idzie pracować i nie będzie browara.</p>
<p>Z ciekawostek jutro poznam najwyższą dziewczynę /jak się sama reklamuje/ w instytucie :&#62; mam nadzieję że nie będę się czuł jak któryś z braci kaczyńskich :) a może to by było fajne doznanie kto wie :) może coś skrobnę po spotkaniu :&#62;</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>If you’re contemplating taking your Veyron out to school the little boys in their 599’s, you best know what the repercussions might be. We know a situation such as this might be, and most likely will be MUCH different if you are in the states, However in the UK, you’d be looking at 3 points on your record and a fine that’s a mere droplet compared to what you paid for the car at £60 (about $120.)</p>
<p>We have two blokes to thank for these numbers, that were out for a little fun in Hampshire, UK. Attention was obviously brought to the two supercars stretching their legs, and a pursuit ensued. The BMW police car got up to 140mph chasing the two, when the Veyron decided to pull over, while the 599 kept going, and ultimately got away.</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>A Ferrari apresentou a Califórnia, seu novo modelo básico, se é que podemos chamar de básico um belo esportivo coupê-conversível com chassis e carroceria de alumínio, freios Brembo, suspensão traseira multilink e motor 4.3 V8 de 460 CV a 7500 rpm, que faz o carro ir de 0 a 100 km / h em menos de 4,0s.</p>
<p>A Ferrari Califórnia também está equipado com o exclusivo F1-Trac, sistema de controle de tração, que fez sua estréia com o 599 GTB Fiorano e que foi aperfeiçoado ainda mais para se adaptar às condições de condução típicas esperados para este novo GT.</p>
<p>Ela é parte integrante de uma nova geração de Ferraris, lançada em 2004 com o 612 Scaglietti, sendo composta tambem da Scuderia 430 e a 599 GTB Fiorano.</p>

<p>Tanto a carroceria, quanto os chassis são em alumínio. Disponível exclusivamente como um conversível, com o teto retrátil rígido com duas dobras. O novo motor V8 de 4.3 litros tem injeção direta, e fica na parte dianteira e não na traseira com normalmente, com 460cv chega a 7500 rotações por minuto.</p>

<p>Sounds like a mouthful to us Anglo Saxons but '599 GTB Fiorano' makes a lot of sense to our Italian cousins. The easy part is 599. This is the size of the engine minus the last 9cc. GTB stands for <em>Gran Turismo Berlinetta </em>which gives us a clue to the body styling i.e. it's a Coupe. And finally Fiorano is the handy little ribbon of tarmac just outside of Maranello which is great for pushing Enzo's finest to their limits. Maranello must be a great place to live! The 599 has a lot to live up to though. Built as a replacement for the 575 Maranello it had to look good and from an engineering point of view it had to move the game on. Well Pininfarina did the styling under the capable hands of Frank Stephenson who's cv includes having a hand in the New Mini, X5, F430, Maser Quattroporte, 612 Scaglietti and pretty little new Fiat 500. He then went on to Alfa to replace our friend Wolfgang Egger who then went on to Audi. There must be something in the wine in Northern Italy to produce such an abundant crop of styling gurus! Is the 599 beautiful? Not in a pretty way perhaps but in a dramatic way it succeeds. It certainly looks like a Ferrari. And the mechanical bits? If speed is the benchmark (and it invariably is) then a 0-60 time of 3.5 seconds recorded by Evo Magazine suggests that the boys with the spanners and computers at Maranello have been putting in some overtime. Some tests have recorded even closer to 3 seconds for the same sprint which places the 599 way near the top of the league for high-performance exotics. Want to buy one? Poza tym nie ze wszystkimi pytaniami można iść do "centrali" bo czasem nie ma się tam kogo spytać, czasem pytanie może zostać źle odebrane, a tak w ogóle to jak szefostwo pytać o sposoby wywierania na nich presji :&#62;</p>
<p>Tak więc to może być fajna inicjatywa taki wortal biblioteczny kompendium wiedzy o UKD, hasłach przedmiotowych, opisach bibliograficznych, marc21 i innych pokrętnych zagadnieniach przydatnych w pracy ale nie najprostszych do ogarnięcia.</p>
<p>Kto wie może jest taki wortal już w sieci tylko go nie spotkałem a może faktycznie zaangażuję się w taki pomysł w końcu niech te studia się na coś przydadzą poza bąblowaniem browarów w ramach GTB</p>

<p class="MsoNormal">Précurseur, l'Opac Moulins Habitat a retenu Green Building Solution, le logiciel de supervision en temps réel de la consommation énergétique des bâtiments de l'éditeur français <a href="http://ecotech21.blogspot.com/2008/04/superviser-la-consommation-denergie-dun.html">Vizelia</a>. Après une phase pilote, l'Opac moulinois a décidé d'installer la solution de Vizelia dans 80 de ses logements sociaux d'ici à juillet 2008. 400 points de mesure ont été définis. Cette phase d'expérimentation a duré 2 mois. Un délai qui aurait pu être encore raccourci si EDF avait donné plus vite son accord de raccordement à ses compteurs des équipements de mesure de Vizelia.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">L'objectif de l'Opac est d'optimiser au moyen de procédures de télérelevés la consommation d'énergie des parties communes (eau chaude, chauffage). Il s'agit également pour la construction de bâtiments neufs ou les rénovations de vérifier, grâce à Green Building Solution, que les objectifs de réduction énergétique fixés sont bien satisfaits.</p>
<p>Autre (grande) motivation de l'Opac : faire en sorte que ses locataires, aux moyens modestes, puissent payer leur charges locatives. Et cela, en les sensibilant sur leurs dépenses énergétiques. Ce volet s'inscrit dans le cadre du projet européen <a href="http://save.atwork4homes.eu/projets/objectifs-du-projet/">http://save.atwork4homes.eu/projets/objectifs-du-projet/</a>. Les locataires reçoivent sur leur téléviseur (câblé et équipé d'une set-top box) des messages d'alerte sur leurs niveaux de consommation.</p>

<p>3 na szynach jest piękną oceną bo przepuszcza, ale magiel jaki przeszedłem był nie do wiary, razem  z dwoma dziewczynami wytrwałem ponad godzinny ostrzał pytaniami z historii</p>
<p>Walka była nierówna co prawda byliśmy liczniejsi ale przeciwnik dysponował lepszym rozeznaniem tak więc nie obeszło się bez strat z naszej strony :( moja prawa sanitariuszka pod gradem pytań zaniemówiła, ma przejść ogień nawalny jeszcze raz po niedzieli lewa zaś zdobyła lepszą pozycję niż ja bo pełne 3. na drugim froncie nasza kompania ułańska /dziewczyny z fantazją/ przebiła się przez zasieki wroga ale też poległa w 30 % choć również mają ponownie atakować po niedzieli i jest szansa na pokonanie czaru "milczenie" rzuconego przez wiedźmę stressminę.</p>
<p>W ramach odstresowania GTB jak zwykle podążyło do sali dolnej IINSB na zajęcia uspokajające do dr jarka ale coś ostatnio nie ma go za barem :( za to stoi tam nędzna namiastka barmana o imieniu paweł ale postuluję aby mu nawet licencjata nie nadać, dopóki nasz lekarz dusz dr jarek go nie wyedukuje. Oczywiście jak to już jest na spotkaniach w sali nornej dowiedziałem się czego ciekawego "stary" jednej z koleżanek jest jazzmanem i gra na saksie po prostu odjazd :)</p>

<p align="justify">The technical specification of the engine speaks for itself: 5999 cm3 displacement, a specific power output of 103 hp/litre (a first for a naturally aspirated production engine of this displacement).</p>
<p align="justify">Twin overhead camshafts per cylinder bank boast continuously variable timing on both inlet and exhaust cams to optimise torque delivery and drivability at both low and high revs. A twin-plate, low inertia clutch in unit with the engine also helps lower the centre of gravity. Chain driven distribution reduces noise and is maintenance-free. The Fiorano's engine delivers a maximum torque of 608 Nm at 5,600 rpm and means that the car pulls well at all engine speeds. The new model's breathtaking sportiness is due in part to record maximum revs for an engine of this displacement (apart from the Enzo). Its maximum power output is 620 hp at 7,600 rpm with a maximum engine speed of 8,400 rpm. Particular attention was also paid to fuel consumption which is the same as in the previous model, under similar use, despite a significant leap in performance. Development work for the Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano also focused specifically on the distinctive sound the engine makes, reducing mechanical resonance in favour of a pure V12 soundtrack from both the intake manifold and the exhaust system. This not only enhances driving pleasure but makes for a quieter ride inside the cabin itself.</p>

<p align="justify">The new generation F1 gearbox that debuts on the Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano is a further development of the F1 gearbox used on all of the models in the Ferrari range.<br />
The F1-SuperFast system enhances the car's high-performance capabilities by using the elastic energy within the transmission components, together with the integrated electronic engine and gearbox management programmes, to speed up gear change times. The various stages involved in changing the gears are implemented in parallel (non-sequentially) and this results in exceptionally fast gear shifting. In fact, it cuts overall gear-shift times to just 100 ms. The system is integrated with the manettino and the driver is still free to choose between either the Automatic mode or the Launch Control setting which offers smoother starts from standstill.</p>

<p align="justify">The experience built up over thousands of kilometres of Formula 1 testing and racing by Ferrari's drivers is now being made available to ensure clients have access to cutting-edge road-holding, safety and stability. The system continually monitors the speed of both front and rear wheels and features predictive software that estimates the maximum available grip in advance, compares this information with the vehicle dynamics model stored in the control system, and adjusts its reactions to suit, optimising traction by modulating power delivery.</p>
<p align="justify">The result is easier, smoother high-performance driving, thanks to maximum grip out of bends (a 20% increase in acceleration compared to a traditional traction and stability control system) and predictable handling even in extreme situations. The F1-Trac is integrated with the manettino which adapts the car's behaviour to the driving conditions: the Sport setting provides the best balance between stability and performance on the road while Race ensures clients maximum performance combined with consistently brilliant handling. <p align="justify">The steering wheel-mounted manettino vehicle dynamics control switch, originally developed for the 1996 Formula 1 season, has been taken a step further for the new Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano.</p>
<p align="justify">The manettino integrates the stability and F1-Trac traction control systems, the F1-SuperFast gearbox and the SCM (Magnetorheological Suspension Control) fluid suspension. This means that the driver can select the correct setting for the grip conditions at any given time. The manettino's readouts are displayed on the new on-board Multi Display unit so that the information important to each specific setting is instantly available to the driver (e.g. lap times, tyre temperature and pressure or trip computer readouts.)</p>
<p align="justify"><strong>AERODYNAMIC EFFICIENCY</strong></p>
<p align="justify">Lengthy testing in the wind tunnel at Ferrari plus various simulations have yielded exceptional results in terms of both downforce and drag. The optimisation of the Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano's underbody, the rear diffuser and flying buttresses have resulted in an aerodynamic load of just 160 kg at 300 km/h. Similarly, the Cd - drag coefficient - is just 0.336.</p>
<p align="justify"><strong>STYLING, ACCESSORIES AND PERSONALISATION OPTIONS</strong></p>
<p align="justify"><em>The Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano is a strikingly sculptural car. The design is so supple, in fact, that each new angle brings something new to light. Its forms say it all about its extreme sportiness yet still retain a unique sophistication.</em></p>
<p align="justify">A balance has been struck in the interior between the car's sporty vocation and the feeling of intimacy and safety that only skilled hand-crafting and detailed personalisation can achieve. The passenger areas of the car are trimmed in sumptuous leather while the driver area and controls boast more high-tech detailing in carbon-fibre and aluminium.</p>

Global warming threatens to bake us all around 1 degree Fahrenheit over the next one hundred years.  Run for your lives.  Critics gasp and choke over nonexistent pollution from SUVs and the current hypercar offerings, all the while ignoring the belching black clouds of smoke exuding from the semi-trucks worldwide that trundle along our highways to make their life happen.  To them  we wish the very best of luck convincing the millions of rural diesel pickup owners that they really would do better with a Prius.  We hope some backwoods hillbilly shoots them with a double load of deer salt.  That will sting a mite, but they can take painful solace in the fact that salt is environmentally more friendly than lead.<br />
&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;Those with either a political agenda or that stand to make money from alternate fuel technology insist that our resources are running out and we all need to start buying cars with extension cords.  Scientists may disagree, but what do scientists know?  It’s not like they’ve been studying these things their whole life or anything.<br />
&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;In the face of such imaginary oncoming peril, we recommend you arm yourself with your very own supercar.  Granted, the average person doesn’t have a spare quarter mil buried under the couch cushions to drop on a new exotic.  But fear not – there is quite a selection to be had for under $50,000.<br />
&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;That’s hand-built, made-for-speed-alone supercar for less than you would (hopefully not) spend on an Escalade.<br />
&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;For the least amount of money and the best build quality, look no further than the <a HREF="http://zfclubsport.wordpress.com/files/2007/12/1991_acura_nsx4.jpg">1991-94 Acura NSX</a>.  With nothing more than a Legend V6 and some high-tech heads attached, Honda went head-to-head with Ferrari’s 348 and completely showed it up, resulting in Ferrari’s mad scramble to produce the improved 355.  Proving that you don’t need cubic inches to provide scoot, the 3.0 Liter sent the lightweight <a HREF="http://zfclubsport.wordpress.com/files/2007/12/1991_acura_nsx6.jpg">NSX</a> howling down the road at an amazing pace with an unearthly howl to match.<br />
&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;Handling is easily better than anything this side of a slot car.  The balance alone, a result of near-perfect weight distribution, is sublimely neutral, giving you the sense of complete control through corners.  On top of all this, it’s made by Honda, so you know it will last a good five years past forever, all for much less than the price of a new Corvette, which has appalling build quality, thanks to GM’s profit-first mentality.  We found examples with under 50,000 miles for thirty large, and began plotting a bank heist to raise the money.<br />
&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;Shell out about $10,000 more, and you can get yourself a pristine Ferrari with half those miles.  Imagine the look on your coworker’s faces when you pull up in a sleek redhead like the <a HREF="http://zfclubsport.wordpress.com/files/2007/12/1985_ferrari_328gtb1.jpg">1985-89 Ferrari 328 GTB</a> and announce you paid less for it than their ridiculous hybrid something-or-other.<br />
&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;Don’t imagine that it won’t keep pace, either.  Thanks to its over-achieving mid-mounted 3.2 Liter V8, the 328 cranks out 270 horsepower and will race past 60mph in 5.5 seconds, roughly the same as the NSX.  Of course, maintenance will be a bit more demanding (and do make sure the proper upkeep has been performed!), but anyone who’s ever owned anything built in Italy will tell you it’s all part of the experience.  If you live in a sunny area year-round, go for the <a HREF="http://zfclubsport.wordpress.com/files/2007/12/1986_ferrari_328gts2.jpg">GTS model</a> with the removable top to hear that legendary, spine-tingling scream when you lean into the throttle.  All others need look no further than the GTB hardtop, which retains much stiffer body structure and will be cheaper to buy.<br />
&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;The <a HREF="http://zfclubsport.wordpress.com/files/2007/12/447265.jpg">1982-88 Lamborghini Jalpa</a> is something of an oddity.  Every guy in the nation under forty can immediately identify the Countach, but the entry-level Jalpa is significantly less common.  Even more significantly, it is infinitely easier to drive.  Whereas its bristling, nuclear-powered big brother – and most supercars of that era – required machine tools to change gear or steer, the <a HREF="http://zfclubsport.wordpress.com/files/2007/12/447264.jpg">Jalpa</a> was designed to be much more manageable.<br />
&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;With a compact V8 similar in size and power to the 328, you can assure the nearest tree-hugger that it gets better gas mileage than the Countach V12 . . . and then depart in a cloud of smoke and rubber and engine bellow.  It is a tad slower than the 328 and NSX, but not by much, and pristine examples with only 25K miles can be had for under the $50,000 mark if you shop around.  Comparatively, a Countach will set you back nearly double that amount.<br />
&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;Our award for doing the most with the least – and getting the quickest result – definitely goes to the <a HREF="http://zfclubsport.wordpress.com/files/2007/12/1993_lotus_esprits41.jpg">Lotus Esprit</a>.  More specifically, before it gained the V8.  Working with alien technology and turbocharging, the engineers in England voodoo’d 265 horsepower out of the tiny four-cylinder engine and sent it on its way.  The fact that it will eat every other supercar mentioned here in a race to sixty and then outcorner them all is a true testament to Lotus’ unswerving devotion to lightness of weight and efficiency of engine.  An unswerving devotion that allows it to indeed swerve circles around just about anything on the road today.<br />
&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;Peter Stevens, the reknowned McLaren F1 designer, gave the body a much better look in 1993.  That, combined with the newly boosted engine output and newly available power steering, is the reason to shop for a <a HREF="http://zfclubsport.wordpress.com/files/2007/12/5264.jpg">1993-95 model</a>.  Prices start at thirty grand for low-mileage models, and if you’ve got the urge to absolutely spank a Mustang GT while stopping for gas half as often – and looking twice as good – your chariot has arrived.<br />
&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;Our last but not least isn’t even a supercar, really.  Truth be told, the <a HREF="http://zfclubsport.wordpress.com/files/2007/12/1172-4.jpg">2002 Maserati Coupe</a> is a Grand Touring car, made for comfortable long-distance cruises.  Yet the mere fact that this magnificently styled four-seater Italian has depreciated to around $35,000 is impossible to overlook.  Inside, there’s a pasture-full of leather and design to appreciate.  Under the hood is a Ferrari-sourced 4.2 Liter V8, definitely to be appreciated also.  And standing on the noise pedal will reveal all 390 horses lurking underneath, which will certainly make you appreciative on your way to a sub-five-second 0-60 run.<br />
&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;Make sure you snag a 6-speed manual version, avoiding the jerky, clunky F1 paddle shifted transmission.  Revel in the classy overall <a HREF="http://zfclubsport.wordpress.com/files/2007/12/1172-3.jpg">look</a> and feel.  Savor the crisp engine note and response.  Bemuse yourself with overpowering, outclassing and underspending your neighbor and his nondescript Lexus.  Most of all, simply enjoy the pure speed and exotica that is now so readily available for so relatively little.<br />

<p>O chefão máximo da Fiat, Sergio Marchionne, bateu forte sua Ferrari F599 GTB.</p>

<p>Ele estava a mais de 100 km/h em uma rodovia na cidade de Soletta, na Suíça, quando um Renault freio forte à sua frente. A colisão foi inevitável e, em seguida, o carro de Marchionne bateu na barreira de proteção.</p>
<p>Apesar de o carro ter ficado bastante danificado, nem Marchionne e nem o motorista do Renault se machucaram com gravidade. Este é o tipo de acidente que mostra que até mesmo quem quer passar uma imagem de “responsável” pode se envolver em batidas.</p>
<p>Por outro lado, é sempre triste ver uma Ferrari tão bonita toda amassada, sabendo que provavelmente deu perda total. Para ele, o problema não é tão grande, já que deve ter um belo desconto de “funcionário”.</p>
