Un remix superb chiar daca e mai vechi.

El otro día me fijé y ví cierto parecido entre Sandra, concursante de la actual edición de Operación Triunfo, y Nelly Furtado, salvando las distancias claro. Y es que pese a que tienen algunos rasgos en común, nada tienen que ver, ni en cuanto a talento ni a belleza.

Aprovecho y dejo link de la última actuación de la triunfita. Dios, que peinado, si parece mas vieja que la Barbra Streisand y solo tiene 24 años la pobre chica!!! Y por cierto, ¿para cantar Memory hay que poner tan mala cara? Estos chicos sobreactuan un poquito, sino aquí os dejo actuación del triunfito de musicales de OT 2008, Iván.

Am vazut stirea asta pe Realitatea, si am ramas placut surprins. Primul motiv era ca nu stiam daca mai exista Cypress Hill (credeam ca au luat o vacanta mai lunga :) ) si al doilea ca vor veni in Romania. Vor canta in cadrul festivalului B'Estfest ( "B" probabil vine de la bere, inca un motiv pentru care sa ma duc, de mentionat ca B'Estfest este vechiul B'Estival) care se va desfasura in aer liber la Romexpo.

Festivalul va avea loc in perioada 4, 5, 6 respectiv 11 iulie - B'estfest Aftershock (probabil si mai multa bere); Manic Street Preachers si Kaiser Chiefs vor urca pe scenele B'Estfest pe 5 iulie, iar Nelly Furtado si Roisin Murphy (Moloko) in cea de-a treia zi a festivalului, pe 6 iulie. Mai multe informatii privind programul pe zile inca nu se stie, probabil vor mai fi invitate si alte formatii sa cante in cadrul acestui festival, dar ramane de vazut in urmatoarele saptamani. Biletele vor fi puse in vanzare de maine, 17-Martie-2008 si vor fi valabile pentru o singura zi a festivalului (4, 5, 6), acestea vor costa 90 de lei in presale, ca in zile de festival la intrare sa coste 110 lei. Abonamentele pentru toate zilele festivalului este de 240 de lei si biletele pentru B'estfest Aftershock vor costa 75 de lei. Solista-compozitor Nelly Furtado, s-a nascut pe 2 decembrie 1978 si a crescut in orasul
Victoria din Canada. Parintii ei, niste portughezi cumsecade din clasa de mijloc, au educat-o in spiritul muncii. Ea si-a petrecut opt veri lucrand ca femeie de serviciu alaturi de mama sa.

Catre muzica s-a indreptat mai mult pentru distractie, ea invatand sa cante la chitara pentru a-si distra prietenii. Obisnuia sa asculte muzica R&B, printre cantaretii ei favoriti numarandu-se Mariah Carey, TLC, Jodeci, Salt-N-Pepa si Bell Biv DeVoe. Mai apoi a studiat amanuntit colectia fratilor ei mai mari, care cuprindea Radiohead, Pulp, Oasis, Portishead, the Verve si U2. Staruitoare, Nelly Furtado a imbratisat si alte genuri muzicale, in special muzica braziliana si compozitii ale lui Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan si ale Amaliei Rodrigues. Hip-hopul a avut, de asemenea, o mare contributie la configurarea stilului muzical pe care-l practica Nelly astazi.

Dupa terminarea liceului, ea a locuit in Toronto unde lucra pentru o companie in timpul zilei si canta in timpul noptii. Ea a intrat intr-o formatie de hip-hop, Nelstar, acest lucru dandu-i ocazia sa-si compuna propriile melodii si ritmuri freestyle.Cand a inceput sa cante la un club din Toronto, aspiratiile ei muzicale au inceput sa prinda contur. Brian West si Gerald Eaton, din grupul funk-pop canadian Philosopher Kings au fost foarte impresionati de prestatia ei muzicala si i-au facut propunerea de a-i produce un demo.

In 2 000 ea compus si lansat emotionanta melodie „Whoa, Nelly!”. Un turneu prin U.S. in primavara lui 2 001 a aprins interesul publicului si al criticilor. Melodii precum "I'm Like a Bird" si "Turn Off the Light" au devenit single-uri.

Cea mai mare realizare a lui Nelly Furtado a avut loc un an mai tarziu, cand a castigat premiul Grammy pentru cea mai buna voce pop feminina.

Albumul Folklore a aparut in noiembrie 2003, la doua luni dupa ce Furtado a dat nastere primului sau copil, o fetita pe nume Nevis. Albumul a fost o mare dezamagire comparativ cu ceea ce reusise sa faca pana atunci.

Pana in vara lui 2006, cand a scos cel de-al treilea album intitulat „Lost” nu a mai avut performante notabile. Produs aproape in intregime de Timbland si fiind mai apropiat de stilul momentului, albumul a captat atentia si a ajutat-o pe Nelly Furtado sa-si relanseze cariera.

Ya queda lejos ese I'm like a bird con el que Nelly Furtado se dio a conocer al público internacional. Ahora, tras haberse consagrado como una de las voces femeninas más importantes y uno de los cuerpos más deseados, la canadiense lanza al charco del reggaeton de la mano de Calle 13 para demostrar que el arte se lleva dentro, y que si hay que perrear, nadie mejor que ella.

Ela antes era tão simples e séria!! Também gostava de saber quem é que a maquilha... É regra geral que se uma pessoa que sobressair os olhos, a boca tem que estar mais discreta, se quer sobressair a boca são os olhos que têm que se acalmar. Ela ontem estava com a beiças encarnadérrimas, os olhos pintadérrimos (adoro falar assim :p) de azul brilhante até às sobrancelhas e estas estavam pintadas de certeza absolluta. A mulher parecia uma palhaça. Era impossivel tirar os olhos daquela cara mas ao mesmo tempo metia impressão! Que se passou com ela??

1. Kylie Minogue - 2 Hearts: I'm reserving 'X' to be the best album of 2008, since it doesn't get released in the US until then. However this song was everything I never hoped it would be. Kylie known for her cutting edge dance-pop, kicked off her new project with a glam rock dancefloor stomper, that the first time I heard it I thought,
what the fuck? And then every time since that I've been singing and rocking (and WOOing) along.

2. Rihanna - Umbrella: This song had 1 of the most unique vibes for any R & B/pop song this year. With all the guitars and noise, it was either gonna tank miserably, or become unescapable. Too bad she followed it up with 'Shut Up & Drive'.

3. Beyonce - Get Me Bodied: I'm a sucker for a good party song. And this isn't just a good party track, it's 1 of the best ever.

4. Justin Timberlake - What Goes Around...: I loved this songs for personal reasons, but also because it's 1 of the most well-crafted breakup anthems ever. And then when the interlude kicks in about 4 minutes into it... chills down my spine!!

5. Timbaland - The Way I Are: Poor grammar choices aside, Timbo KILLED it with this 1. It's like a bunch of robots had a dance party in the middle of the hood. And this was the soundtrack.

6. M.I.A - Boyz: This song works me on so many levels. World music meets hip-hop meets gay runway meets Baltimore club meets dance. Then they have an orgy. And this song is the baby.

7. Kanye West - Stronger: Out of nowhere, everyone's favorite rapper tapped an unlikely host for a sample. Daft Punk. The results? MAGIC!

8. Amy Winehouse - Rehab: The first 10,000 times I heard it, it was cute, unique, & catchy. And then radio picked it up. And it's taken me months to enjoy the song again.

9. Tori Amos - Bouncing Off Clouds: Despite my mixed feelings on the album, this song is a career highlight for the crazy redhead I love so much. If only some remixes were cut for this song, it could have reached even higher heights.

10. Eve - Tambourine: The album may never get released at this point, & apparently this song underperformed? Apparently the powers that be don't live in Baltimore, because everyone I know loves this song, & barely an hour went by without it being on the radio.

11. Bjork - Earth Intruders: This album underwhelmed me too, but this single was a true return to her pop/dance roots for Bjork. More beats Bjork, please!?

12. Diddy - Last Night: Diddy has been kind of a laughing stock in my book for a while, but this song was a total slam dunk. Keyshia on the hook, and then Lil' Kim on the remix... reunited and it feels so GOOD!

13. Pink - U + Ur Hand: I thought for sure her last album was dead in the water, and then radio picked up this song, and Pink's career was resuscitated. Cuz who can't relate to a sassy kiss-off song!?

14. Gym Class Heroes - Clothes Off!: I'm a sucker for a good 80's sample. And a fun party song.

15. Sophie Ellis-Bextor - Catch You: This lady makes music that someone how is classy, yet still makes you want to dance. Welcome back, dear!

16. Maroon 5 - Makes Me Wonder: I doubted if they're return would be successful, then their lead single was upbeat, and hearkened to excellent 80's pop-rock. And Adam is cute. Good combo!

17. Keyshia Cole with Missy Elliott & Lil' Kim - Let It Go: As if the team-up of these 3 couldn't be great enough, the song is based around a BIG hook. Hell yeah!!

18. Mason vs. Princess Superstar - Perfect Exceeder: The best mash-ups make the 2 songs sound like they were made for each other. And my ears were made for this single!

19. Tracey Thorn - Grand Canyon: One of the most gorgeous songs of the year. Even the remixes didn't hurt the song at all. Tracey, everybody loves YOU here!

20. Armand Van Helden with Fat Joe - Touch Your Toes: Wouldn't expect Fat Joe to pop up on a dance song. Wouldn't expect to love a song this repetitive. Skip the radio edit and go straight for the LP version!
