I'm curently playing this game and I played this because I was curious about the game. Actually I'm curious about all of the well-known DS games and I wish I can get a Nintendo DS so that I can play these games. I'm currently suffering from using an emulator with no save state feature. If it had that feature, I wouldn't bother getting one. Unless someone gives me a unit, i will have to use my emulator. Anyway, this game is amazing because it's one of those CSI-like games but most of the scene occurs in the court room but despite being in court room most of the time being in the defense position, you still get to investigate by yourself. Patience is the key to this game and IQ. hehehehe. I'm not yet finished with the game and there's still 3 installments to finish.

Maybe, the DSi not as shitty as it seems right now. The INTERNAL camera is .3 megapixels, not both. The external camera has a 3 megapixel camera.  Since most phones have 1-2 megapixel cameras, so it's not that bad. There's a power button now to replace the power switch. What grinds my gears is that they said it would play music, and we all assumed "YAY MP3'S!" However, it doesn't play MP3's, it plays AAC'S. o-o WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT SHIT? It'll have a web browser too and internal memory too. Still, since it's 13% thinner, the fucking battery life is going to be shorter. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. . .

Here's a good look at the DS version of Echoes of Time. It looks like there will be more classes you have access to such as the red mage class. Another thing noticed is you won't have to carry the challis around like the first game in the Crystal Chronicles series.

Apollo Justice is the fourth game in the Phoenix Wright series. A series of games where you become an Ace Attorney and it's up to you to prove your defendants NOT GUILTY at any cost. Truly there is no greater experience than posing dramatically, pointing with your left hand, while yelling into the DS in your right hand, "OBJECTION!"

If you have never experienced the joy that is yelling out an objection while in public, you have yet to experience what the DS offers.

This fourth installment sees a new Ace Attorney take center stage, well.... try to take center stage, he easily falls behind the real star of the show Phoenix Wright. Too bad Phoenix Wright lost his badge 7 years ago (2 months after the end of the third game) and is now a piano player stuck with raising a 15 year old daughter.  What happened 7 years ago that he lost his badge, how did he get a daughter in those 7 years while at the same time somehow having a time paradox that caused her to age twice as fast as a normal human, WHAT HAPPENED TO MAYA?!?!??  Well, you'll learn most of those things(not anything Fey related) before the game is over.

In fact the story itself is both a strong point and a low point in my opinion. The third game was pretty epic when all the previous cases suddenly had little pieces here and there that added together to create a pretty strong last story. This fourth game tries to do much the same thing.... but just doesn't pull it off in the same way. Yes everything that happens is connected, FAR more than it ever should be. But I left feeling like even though I was playing as Apollo the story was more about Phoenix. And the last case could almost be considered a let down.

The game does provide more use of the DS than the previous games(which were just ports of GBA games really). The puzzles here and there requiring the touch pad are a nice touch and were different enough for each case that you didn't feel like it was the same thing over and over again. Everything is animated nicely, though scenes like the poker match are reused and then replayed far too many times. And one case which began and centered around a concert ended up replaying the footage every time you had to prove something.

Talking about animated nicely, I could watch Trucy "bounce" for hours.

As a fan of the series this new game was a nice new adventure. But at the same time Phoenix Wright still steals the show. And after these seven years I'm still left wondering whatever happened to everyone else. Maya, Pearl, Edgeworth. While Ema Skye did finally return after her one shot in the first game, she probably would have been more fun to interact with as Phoenix than Apollo.

The actual gameplay hasn't changed much. You still go to court, experience witty dialog, and then call out the witness on their testimonies by showing evidence that proves them wrong. What has changed though is while Phoenix had a magic magatama that activated when someone had a secret, allowing him to gather more evidence/information. Apollo has a magic bracelet that activates when a witness is lying to you in court. Sadly unlike Phoenix's magatama that introduces a minigame of proving that the person knows something, Apollo must watch the entire testimony, figure out what exactly they are lying about, and then figure out what their "nervous tick" is and call them out on it. And while some of these ticks are easy to find, others can feel downright impossible.

It still has the great writing that makes the Ace Attorney games so enjoyable to play/read. Interesting and unique characters, places and situations. The new cast add a different flavor to the events and plenty of new jokes. And while I am disappointed with Apollo himself, Trucy and Klavier have more than enough personality to compensate for him. And while the game does have a couple throwbacks to the earlier games, there isn't anything stopping new fans from starting here and going back to the first three games.

I'd also like to see the competition between NBA 2K9 and NBA Live (I think the Live Season feature where you subscribe to player stats could be a seller for all the upcoming EA Sports games). Nintendo ha presentado un nuevo programa para su consola Nintendo DS que se aleja del concepto de videojuego para convertirse en una herramienta musical.

Korg DS-10 es una "virtualización" de un clásico sintetizador de los años sesenta y setenta que contribuyó a una revolución musical en la que tomaron parte músicos como Vangelis, Jean-Michel Jarre, Brian Eno, Mike Oldfield o Pink Floyd.

En una demostración realizada en Madrid, se ha enseñado a los periodistas cómo funciona el invento. Con una interfaz gráfica muy sobria (un fondo negro y representaciones simples de las notas y controles del sintetizador original), Korg DS-10 permite componer música desde cero.

La herramienta sirve tanto para los no iniciados, que pueden experimentar "toqueteando" aquí y allá la pantalla táctil, como para los profesionales, que disponen de un completo menú idéntico (con algunas mejoras) al de un sintetizador real con posibilidades muy avanzadas.

"Korg DS te permite obtener resultados y crear de forma mucho más inmediata. De hecho, el cartucho para Nintendo DS te permite crear música con un sintetizador a nivel básico o bucear en el sintetizador original y lograr piezas mucho más trabajadas", explica el músico profesional Luis Herrero, quien ha improvisado un tema durante la presentación en apenas unos minutos.

La demostración ha concluido con un par de ejemplos de temas conocidos compuestos con Korg DS-10, como el popular Oxygen 4 de Jean-Michel Jarre. El programa para Nintendo DS, que ofrece su máxima calidad si se conecta la consola a unos auriculares o a unos altavoces, se lanzará el próximo 10 de octubre.

Nintendo DSi ha sido presentada oficialmente como el nuevo modelo de la consola portátil del gigante japonés.

Aparte de ser más delgada, el diseño de la consola portátil de Nintendo no cambia demasiado.

 Las nuevas características principales son las siguientes:

• Es un poco más fina que la DS tradicional. Concretamente un 12% más delgada.
• Ha aumentado la pantalla hasta las 3,25 pulgadas en lugar de las 3 pulgadas de los modelos anteriores.
• Reproductor de audio integrado.
• Incorpora una ranura para tarjetas de memoria SD.
• Tiene dos cámaras, una entre las dos pantallas y otra en la zona exterior con resoluciones de 3 megapixeles.

Junto a la consola se presenta también una tienda online en la que se podrá adquirir contenido directamente a través de la conexión Wi-Fi, utilizando los Nintendo Points. Además, se incluye un navegador para conectarnos a Internet.

En nuestro país aun tendremos que esperar hasta el año que viene para recibirla, mientras que en Japón se pondrá a la venta 1 de noviembre, con un precio de unos 130 euros al cambio.

On September 10, 2008 at serebii.net I saw information about a new DS model called the Nintendo DSi. It will be better than the DS Lite in many ways. Specifically, two built in cameras and an SD card slot. It will also have an online store to buy games on just like the (Wii's) Wii Shop Channel. The currency for DSiWare (and I think there might also be a 'Virtual Handheld' (like the Wii Virtual Console), though that is just a guess) is the same as the Wii Shop Channel, and you will even get a free 1000 Nintendo Points if you buy it before 2010. The only bad change is the absence of a Game Boy Advance slot. In Japan it will be released on November 1, 2008, and in US and Europe in early 2009.
