My friends always threaten to eat this one- if only they could. I love the color and style- it is very pretty and very girly in a playful sort of way. It looks like giant gum drops or something- I'm not sure but it looks delicious, ha.

The pink bow just adds extra charm I think. Quite lovely and it is something I do enjoy wearing.

And speaking of bows, here is a pair of adorable bow earings. The little beads that hang from the bow really add that special touch. I found these at a little Japanese shop (they had a red version available as well) and couldn't resist them. They are on a black small loop so the bow hangs just below the ear. Quite the cute little accessory.

Hmm, looking at it the little beeds look like some sort of candy treat as well. A bit more subtle but still delicious in style.

I just came across a fabuluos shop on Etsy. Seller Stoopigerl offers sugary sweet accessories and fantastic retro photos I would love to frame and hang on the wall of my new place! Inexpensive and totally fabulous. Check it out!

Well, first off, i would like to say thanks, to everyone who has visited my blog, ive had over 200 hits in only 2 weeks. Even more surprising is the fact that i haven't even posted anything this week, an almost unforgivable sin in the blogging community, as it is sure to lead to a slow and acrimonious death.

So, why haven't I posted? Well, the most important factor in blogging is obviously, the content of the blog. My original purpose was to promote anime and video games in the country where I live, but so far, Ive just started blogging about everything, which has sort of lead me into a place where I'm not sure what to blog about at all.

I am out of town next week for work purposes, so I wont be able to blog between Monday and Friday. I am going to think of ways to make my blog effective though, and what I want to see it become, and how to get there.

I want to never forget, that my reason for starting this blog, was to share the incredible things i love with others, so they too could have as much fun enjoying what I enjoy.

Undaunted and (amazingly, still) smiling, she approached The Meanest Mom in the World again today, machine in hand.  Finally, the result she was waiting for, "Sure."

She got to know her machine by sewing stitches into rags.

Then I cut her loose and she was on her own.  Left unchecked by my creatively-challenged self, she knew no bounds.  She made herself an emboidered vest.

Ok, yes, this started out as a T-Shirt rag and first was envisioned as a vest for our dog, Belle.  (Which explains the bold letter "B" on the back.)  Belle was none-too-pleased with her new wardrobe, so N decided to keep her first creation for herself.  I told her the B should stand for Bold and Brave (thinking to myself that I never would have dared to create something with just a rag, some thread, a machine, and an idea). 

Her new career as a designer in full swing, N kept creating...

Today at our house, we discovered that kids are amazingly creative and bold when adults can keep their instruction-reading, pattern-addicted, perfectionist-laden hands and minds at a safe distance. 

We also discovered that cats have more patience than dogs.

It's definitely love.

Well, maybe not all cats. 

On that note: I hear the sewing machine running at the other end of the house.  Shhh....designer at work.  :)

I pulled an all nighter and went to Mickey D's at 7 AM. It was amazing. Steak egg and cheese bagels are the best. Number 14. Yeah. Then I just got up here at 3:00.. haha.

I get to spend all weekend with the boy that makes me feel like a princess.. and I like feeling like a princess. He told me that I'm his "favorite part about being alive." Yeah, sweetest thing ever.

I wish weekends would never end.

I was also so pleased when I opened the package and the sender had included these so sweet hello kitty note papers as a little gift. The little touched make it all that extra special.

I also have one other thing to blog about, that obviously, after our little get together the other evening I have a knitting project on the go! It is going quite slowly as it is mostly being created in my lunch hours at work but its coming along and is not going to be a big project.

Here is a picture of where I am up too to give an idea, however again, this is to be a surprise gift so I cant really blog what it is yet! All I will say is that it is a gift for my good friends soon to be born child.

And that's it for the minute, mummydaddy are on their way round with my grandad so I best take my leave.

The skirt is from a pattern called Skirtsicle, which I found on Ravelry.  I'm really glad I sprung for the $4 and purchased the pattern, both because M found it herself and was squeaking with delight about it and also because it was easy-peasy to knit and worked up so fast. 

I actually had planned to use a different colorway, but I had this stash yarn and since M is a pink girl, I thought this would be a great way to practice without Investing in More Yarn, a forbidden practice in our home.  (See also:  You have enough yarn!  What do you need more yarn for?  How are you ever going to use all this yarn?!)

Anyway, since this turned out so well, I may be acquiring some contraband cotton to make a petite little Christmas present...

I say, who cares if I didn't get it done (or started) before the Olympics were over!  M loves it so much that she's worn it three days in a row.  That sounds like an Olympic event in and of itself.  Come to think of it, so does having to pry the skirtcicle off of her to wash it!
