Calgary has shown me that I've always known how to take care of myself - in the physical sense, but what does that really mean? I can cook, I can have a full-time job. I can pay the bills and clean up after myself. But in the true essence of life, what do these things really matter? I can't entertain myself; I can't provide definite happiness even though I can ensure my own safety and shelter.

Some days, I just want to create a time machine (like I said, I'm genius) to go back to last September and simply stay in Kamloops.  Then again, staying in Kamloops meant accepting the mundane, trivial and stagnent lifestyle that one can only maintain for so long. Plus, staying there would mean never having met Ashley, the love of my life - so far. He is the Yin to my Yang... or whichever the calm, fun one is... that's Ashley. He is my proof that this life really exists, that Kamloops isn't some alternate universe which only purpose is some level of Hell! That's right, I come from Hell.

Hey, Wildcats! Check out the new, official teaser trailer for High School Musical 3: Senior Year, which touts 10 new original songs.

The winner of ABC’s summer reality show High School Musical: Get in the Picture will appear in a music video that is shown over the end credits of the theatrical release of the film.

The motion picture soundtrack will be released on October 21. HSM3 is being scheduled for a theatrical release on October 24.

The movie is looking just as good as the first two made-for-TV films. Maybe even better!

In the video I say more than once that I have a deep sense that God was going to do something special in 2007. I would have never known that in less than two weeks, I would meet Ashley for the first time and 9 months later we would be engaged and now married!

It has been an incredible journey from that day to this, but right now Ashley is gone for the first time since we have been married, and the first time in almost a year where I was not with her.

I miss her.

She is my everything and the perfect fit for my life. I feel incomplete not having her here.

There are plenty of things I could address from that old video, like my beard, gangsta look, or the things I talked about, but nothing hits home more fully and completely than the idea that God had something special in store for 2007 . . .

He sure did . . .

I am grossly behind in getting my images of the day posted as we were on vacation last week and while I was still shooting and processing, I took a bit of a vacation from the Internet as well, so they all have backed up a bit. Into PA... 60/365

While a lot more interesting than the first portion of the trip, Pennsylvania seemed to be a never ending ribbon of freeway of ascending and descending, downshifting and coasting, punctuated by the occasional city or town nestled into it's hillsides.  This image pretty much stands for the quintessential view of the state on the route we took (pretend you are looking out the back window to get an idea of the ascending portion of the trip, haha).

Wresting news is sloooow as always, giving me the chance to do something that I regret having to do, but feel obligated to at the same time. Ahem...eh...

Go see "Get Smart" if you haven't already. Dwayne "The-Rock-is-Dead" Johnson does a great job and is very funny. Steve Carrel is genius as always. Its just a good flick, so, yeah, check it out.

A lungo si è parlato di una possibile revisione del copione di "Evil Dead" (da noi conosciuto come "La casa") per dar modo ad un eventuale remake di prendere il largo. Il progetto voluto dallo stesso Raimi con la sua Ghost Pictures -già produttrice di Boogeyman- è più come una nave fantasma che come un veliero che fiammante solca i mari. Per quanto in lungo e in largo sul web rimbalzino notizie riguardanti un ipotetico stato di avanzamento della produzione, il tutto risultante sempre nonchè puntualmente fermo.
L'idea c'è, la voglia forse, i soldi sicuramente.
Dunque perchè il tutto non parte? Che cosa tiene saldamente ferme le riprese?
"Mi piacerebbe dire che la colpa è di Spiderman (e di Sam Raimi il suo regista), può far film di questo genere in ogni momento. Ma per il momento si è dato a terreni ben più fertili". Sostiene Bruce Campbell colui che interpretò Ash nella storica trilogia di Evil Dead, a cui va il merito -assieme a Raimi- di aver costruito un personaggio formidabile per il suo umorismo, dando cosi modo di scrivere una nuova pagina dell'horror anni '80, il tutto essendo armati solo di una telecamera, qualche faretto per la luce, e appena 20.000 dollari di budget. Molti si chiedono dunque se Ash tornerà cosa farà lo stesso Campbell, se tornerà a vestire i panni del personaggio che lo ha rese celebre o se invece continuerà per la sua strada "Se Sam non sarà colui che si troverà dietro la macchina da presa, non esiste una ragione qualunque per cui io possa tornare nel film, cosa, il film sarà prodotto con 200 milioni di dollari?" continua lo stesso Campbell sempre interrogato su quello che sarà il suo futuro professionale. A dire il vero Bruce non è mai stato un fan dei remake, nè del "SUO" film in particolare, ritenuti scialbi e ripetitevi, unica ripetizione di opere storiche di fondamentale importanza, ha fin da subito preferito focalizzarsi in altri generi di film o nello strepitoso Bubba Ho-tep in cui interpreta Elvis Presley. In una precedente intervista sosteneva che avrebbe preso a calci qualsiasi persona si fosse interessata a fare un remake de "La casa", forse irritato dall'identificazione tra il suo personaggio e la sua persona cui i fan gli hanno attribuito, unendo Ash e Bruce in una sola cosa, tanto da essere soprannominato Bruce "don't call me Ash" Campbell.

Como ya sucediera con Trevor Murdoch hace unos pocos días, se ha producido otro nuevo despido en la empresa de Vince McMahon. Esta vez es una de las Divas más queridas por los fans la que ha abandonado la WWE. Ashley ha sido despedida, al parecer, por iniciación propia, ya que Ashley tiene una hija enferma y necesita estar a su lado para cuidar de ella. Como siempre la WWE la desea lo mejor en sus futuros proyectos. Es una pena este despido, porque Ashley podía hacer un papel muy interesante en RAW, donde llevaba sin aparecer varios meses.

When it comes to friends and enemies, Drew Peterson can count the Internet among the latter.

Two separate allegations in as many weeks against the former police sergeant have created a tsunami in the blogosphere, first with reports that Peterson exchanged flirtatious online chats and e-mails with an unknown woman and then with a true crime author alleging Peterson asked him to write a book pinning his third wife’s homicide on his missing fourth wife.

Peterson’s publicist Glenn Selig said his client did chat with a woman but flatly denied author M. William Phelps’ allegations.

“Absolutely not,” Selig said. “Drew never, and I was present on the phone, he never ever suggested that there be any sort of anything, book or otherwise, to pin [the homicide] on someone else.”

As for the chats — several of which the woman has posted on a new blog — Selig said the exchange was harmless flirtation and the two never met each other.

“[Peterson] hasn’t been in his house crying in the corner,” Selig said. “Drew has said from day one that Stacy left him for another man and he’s mad at her for having done what she did. He’s keeping busy.”

The blog, created June 26, contains a series of March and April exchanges between the woman and Peterson, a suspect in the Oct. 28 disappearance of his wife, Stacy. He has not been charged with a crime.

Peterson tells the woman he’s a romantic who spoiled his previous wives but still wound up unlucky in love. Although he admits to seeing women after his wife’s disappearance, he said he’s ready to settle down with just one woman and asked her “how much broken glass do I need to crawl through to get a date with you.”

Several other posts claim to prove Peterson’s membership at an adult Web site, even including an alleged receipt of his subscription.

Selig and Brodsky said those posts are forgeries and that the credit card shown on the receipt does not belong to their client.

The blog’s operator, who goes by the name Ashley, claims to be a 29-year-old Web site designer from southern Illinois. Attempts to reach her via e-mail were unsuccessful as of Tuesday.

Days after the blog went live, news of a radio interview with Phelps hit the Internet. In June interview, Phelps said he and his agent were on a conference call with Peterson, his attorney Joel Brodsky and Selig when Peterson seemed to allude the possible book should blame the March 2004 homicide of Kathleen Savio, Peterson’s third wife, on Stacy Peterson.

Brodsky and Selig said there were discussions about a possible book but that no one asked Phelps to blame anyone for Savio’s death.

Phelps did not return several e-mails seeking comment.

Firstly; the dress. Everyone knows that if you are small figured or have a boyish shape, huge, frumpy tent-dresses just aren't the way forward. Wear something that accentuates your curves. She just looks like she's been wrapped up in a massive roll of multi-colored crepe paper!

The bag i like. In fact, the bag is the only thing about this mess that i like, even though it doesn't really go with the outfit at all.

And Mary Kate- What is that on your head? A halo? A tyre? An inflatable pool ring? Actually... i'm not even going to comment.

Am Freitag haben Oli und ich mit Ashley und Indy jeweils an der Fußarbeit trainiert, da unsere Beiden teilweise zu weit vorne gehen.
Hier zwei Bilder von Ashley: erst mit Oli, dann mit Trudy und man sieht deutlich, dass er bei Trudy weiter hinten geht und seinen Kopf nicht so sehr nach hinten überstrecken muss. 

Bei Indy ist das Problem, dass sie teilweise anfängt ihre Kopf einzudrehen, sodass ich dann nicht mehr richtig laufen kann. Außerdem hat Trudy bei ihr das 'Black & Decker'-Syndrom diagnostiziert... Im Stillen war ich mir dessen ja schon bewusst, dass Indy nicht normal essen kann, aber jetzt muss ich daran wirklich mal etwas üben ;-)

Damit sich jeder davon überzeugen kann, hier ein Bild von Indy beim Leckerli-aus-der-Hand-nehmen. ' Och wie süß, das sieht ja aus wie ein Vogelbaby' höre ich dabei immer wieder...

Danach durfte ich noch ich noch mit Trudys Guiness ( Colliewood Crazy Legs ) laufen und ich muss sagen, es war ein fantastisches Gefühl und hat mir nochmal etwas mehr Motivation gebracht, mit Indy jetzt mal wieder in Sachen Heelwork richtig fleißig zu sein.

Samstag musste ich dann leider arbeiten und habe sicher eine Menge verpasst, auf jeden Fall hat Oli sehr geschwärmt.

 
Sonntag morgens durfte dann Spice das erste Mal offiziell etwas arbeiten. Wir haben den Fuß-Target gelernt ( hier links im Bild ), das richtige Spielen, sodass die Welpen nicht mit ihrem erbeuteten Spielie abhauen und das Heranrufen mit Vorsitzen.

Außerdem haben wir noch das richtige Folgen an der Hand geübt, was Spicy schon vorher kannte und richtig schön gemacht hat :-)

 Am Sonntag nachmittag gab es dann noch einen Wettkampf nach englischem Reglement. Alle Teilnehmer sind in der Klasse Pre-Beginners gestartet und Indy konnte ihren ersten Pokal mit nach Hause nehmen und eine richtig schöne Urkunde.

Leider hat uns dann nachmittags das Wetter einen Strich durch die Rechnung gemacht und es zog ein richtiges Gewitter heran, sodass wir leider die Klasse Beginners nicht mehr laufen konnten und unsere Zelte abbrechen mussten.

Es war ein tolles Wochenende mit vielen netten Leuten und natürlich ging es nur um unsere Hunde, was ja immer das Schönste daran ist. Vielen lieben Dank an Susi für die tolle Organisation und jetzt heisst es nur noch, unsere ganzen Pläne auch in die Tat umzusetzen!

"I just want to make sure the truth comes out," Kristi, 44, said from her home in Florence, Mont. "Michael is already out there spreading lies."

Kristi says she had a years-long affair with Michael, which started while he was briefly separated from Lindsay's mom Dina. It continued even after the couple got back together.

"He met me in Houston and we met again in New York," she says.

Kristi says she always suspected that her ex-husband was not Ashley's father, and in 2005 she took a paternity test that proved it.

"The only other person I had slept with was Michael," she says.

"My daughter has a right to know who her father is — and it's Michael," says Kristi, who is now married to real-estate agent Daryl Kaufmann.

Ashley is just 18 months younger than Lindsay's sister Ali and a year older than her brother Cody. Sources say Michael, 48, accepts he is Ashley's father and even called her on June 12, her 13th birthday.

In a statement to Star, Michael said: "I have known Kristi since 1983, I hadn't seen her for 12 years. Dina and I were separated and I had seen Kristi, she was in the middle of a divorce. Years later she contacted me convincing me that I was the only person she was with and that she had my child.

8. Go out on a lunch date with an old friend or a new one - July 2nd

I met one of my best friends Lauren, whom i've known since Kindergarden, at a mexican shop down in DelCerro. I split a breakfast burrito with my mom and we talked about a lot of things. The last time i'd seen her was at my brother's BarMitzvah, but we still had catching up to do. I'll see her on Friday though : ) Every year we go to her house with a couple other families for the 4thOfJuly and NewYear's.

SoYouThinkYouCanDance is on at this very moment, or specifically there's a commercial about T-Mobile. The show itself is inspiring.

&that's where i'm off to!

1.  First rested nights sleep in two weeks (to be honest the bed and i were not compatible and i may have gotten two phone calls in the middle of the night/morning)
2.  Work on my tan…i’ve actually got a base tan started woohoo!
3.  Did i mention peace and quiet
4.  Tan, tan, tan. (i ended up spending too much time on #3 to get this one done)

When i returned home to the lovely ATX i was greeted with the most wonderful thunderstorm ever which allowed me to finally knock out #1 on the above list in my very own comfortable bed, mmmm memory foam.  And of course, this great weekend was followed by a short work week which ended in what i like to call "early release," because lets face it, not much has changed since elementary school.  We still have our cliques at work....i think i might actually have evolved to be in the cool clique though! partly because we're all the same type of people....but i assure you the other departments feel the same way, lunch is still the best part of the day, and we all still count down to quiting time, the only difference is it's two hours later.  

4th of July weekend proved to be a much needed long weekend and an adventurous time was had by all.  I'd like to note that mine started off with a bang and ended with a new furniture adventure and the righteous feeling of accomplishment when Ash and I got the stupid draw to fit.  In between was A) 3 amazing diet cokes, 2 of which were bought by very thoughtful friends of mine, thanks Austin & Ash, B) a trip to Kyle to get fireworks... here Austin and I met "firecracker"....the James Avery clad young man wouldn't even speak to me...just had to point that one out C) explosions in the sky...not the band, actual explosions over Town Lake (I refuse to call it Ladybird Lake) that lit up the city in such a way my soul danced D) sparklers and "The Circle of Trust" in my backyard E) i finally crossed off #4...woohoo for completing my list! F) mmm BBQ and discovering what level of hell i'd be on...thanks Dante, Travis and i will spend eternal damnation on the river, i hope our property taxes aren't too high...Jake you'll have to come visit, i hear the water is actually hot spring fed so the temperature should be absolutely perfect year round G) Actually owning at pool... perhaps you can learn through osmosis! and finally H) "You like doughnut?"--- if you have to ask, you'll never know...unless we force you to come with us the next time we go to the best kept secret on Airport Blvd.  It was wonderful.

With all this going for me something was bound to turn up sour.  I could list all the little things that really started to rub me the wrong way leading up to Monday, including how the new additions to my curtains didn't work out, but i'm making a real effort to be more positive, so i'll just mention how i got into a minor car wreak leaving work today and it really kinda pissed me off.  Yeah, Yeah mutual fault, but the douche bag was driving too fast on the easement to the station...not even a real road and when getting out of his vehicular wouldn't even look at me and the only thing he said was, "i can't stay here, i have to go get my son..."  Oh, well maybe you shouldn't drive like that...and i have to go let my dog out before his bladder explodes so don't look at me like you're more important...you didn't even ask if i had a kid!  Thanks for messing up my car, ruining my streak of greatness, making me stay at my office longer than needed and assuming i'm barren!  Basically, SCREW YOU!  Now i'm spending tomorrow's lunch hour on the phone with my insurance company...looooooooove talking to them, love it! 

But, in the spirit of sending out positive energy into the universe in hopes that it will once again find it's way back to me i will say no one was hurt, except ya know my pride...i'm not a horrible driver i don't care who says i am...because most likely they're from Dallas anyways...and my car is still drivable.  I've come to realize it's just an Eagle Vs. Shark kinda world.  (If you haven't seen the movie i recommend it for a short summer flick, not award winning but just odd enough to catch my attention, and i kinda like it.)  I would like to say that everyone is an Eagle or a Shark, but that's too absolute...instead i think we have all been an Eagle or a Shark at some point in life.  Right now i'm most definitely a Shark.  With that being said i continue to bide my time in the water waiting for the right moment and promise to have pictures for you with my next post, along with my thoughts on WALL-E, because i'm going to see that tonight in hopes of turning this whole douche of a day around.  Deuces.
