Los gobiernos de Reagan y Thatcher simbolizan el mejor ejemplo de que con más libertad y más mercado las cosas pueden ir mejor en todos los sentidos. Políticamente la fortaleza de las economías occidentales, a pesar de altibajos, reafirmo la evidencia. El intervencionismo aminoró y/o transformó la pesada losa que supone para el proceso social.

Los 80 fueron los años de las reformas en la zona comunista. Ya vimos como en China tomaron un camino, difícil pero de buenos resultados a corto y medio plazo. La URSS inició su Perestroika en 1987. Sin empresarios y dinamismo el pesado Estado Soviético no podría resistir mucho más tiempo. Los acontecimientos políticos precipitaron el desmoronamiento en dominó desde los regímenes más pequeños hasta la Madre Rusia. Cayó el telón de acero, cayeron las dictaduras hípersocialistas, el modelo de acomodo del intervencionismo se hizo con las riendas del mundo.

El Neoliberalismo no fue un movimiento que pretendiera el desmantelamiento de la intervención, sino su adecuación a un orden de mercado capaz de satisfacer las necesidades del Estado contemporáneo. Medidas que a pesar de contribuir a incrementar la libertad individual y reducir ciertas barreras de entrada y control de mercados, portaban una intención evidente.

Pero el mercado es fuerte e incentiva el apego a sus formas y soluciones. El comercio internacional creciente, eso que detractores quisieron nominar capciosamente como globalización, trajo y trae desarrollo, reducción de la pobreza y prosperidad en todos los rincones del planeta. Esa realidad pesa, las economía occidentales dinamizaron sus posibilidades y los actores asumieron con más fuerza si cabe la superioridad del mercado frente a cualquier otro sistema de asignación de recursos y decisión de objetivos a perseguir.

Durante estos veinte años no sólo han nacido y renacido poderes estatales, como el ruso, el chino o el indio. El Mercado ha logrado sus mayores cotas de extensión y libertad a nivel global. La intervención sigue pesando, la UE pretende una intervención concertada blindando un mercado interno, los EEUU protegen su territorio y paulatinamente los Países emergentes van e irán mimetizando estas conductas. A pesar de ello la fortaleza del mercado contiene determinadas decisiones.

El Estado Ruso busca su momento a nivel local e internacional. Puede que coincidan o que uno sea precursor del otro. No podemos negarle potencia y potencial pero sí que sea éste su momento idóneo para afrontar según que decisiones en política exterior.  El mercado libre apacigua y aminora pasiones, desincentiva movimientos arriesgados y evita conflictos políticos. El gobierno ruso es consciente de que las cosas no pueden ser como antaño. El fracaso del Estado depende del orden de mercado sobre el que tienda sus tentáculos de intervención. En un mundo globalizado los amagos imperialistas cuestan más que nunca…

Fagre nye fingeraftryksteknologi

I disse år foregår en rivende udvikling, såvel i teknikken med at tage fingeraftryk, som på EDB- og teleområdet.

Meget hurtigt vil vi sikkert være fremme ved et samfund, hvor folk, i stedet for at identificere sig med underskrift, vitterlighedsvidner, leveattester og lignende gammeldags metoder, flere og flere steder giver deres fingeraftryk, som telefaxes til et centralbureau, der på få sekunder melder tilbage, at de modtagne fingeraftryk vedrørende den og den person.

Denne del af den fagre nye verden vil nok - for eksempel indenfor bankverdenen, tinglysningsvæsenet, fængselsvæsenet og mange andre steder - komme, som tiden bliver moden og vel meget ofte, uden at lovgivning bliver nødvendig.

Fingeraftryk
Men udviklingen bør forceres, når det drejer sig om folk, der søger opholdstilladelse i Danmark. Her bør sagen starte med et fingeraftryk, som derefter er identifikation ved de sager, der behandles hos danske offentlige myndigheder vedrørende de pågældende.

Det er jo uhyre svært at have hold på de mange fremmede, der strømmer ind i Danmark (legalt eller illegalt). Myndighederne har ikke det samme lokale personkendskab til disse fremmede, som tit optræder under skiftende navne. Ofte er der al mulig anledning til at få deres sager afgjort hurtigst muligt, da de jo hører til den gruppe, som der er størst chance for forlader landet, og da de også udgør en forholdsvis høj procentdel af dem, som tegner sig for terrorisme, narkogrossisthandel, knivstikdrab og andre topalvorlige forbrydelser.

Dertil kommer, at sproglige misforståelser undgås, når man erstatter talen med det universelle fingeraftrykssprog.

Godt samarbejde
Der dannes også et fortingligt grundlag for det samarbejde, som netop i den slags sager er så påkrævet med udenlandske, offentlige myndigheder, som også tages ved næsen af de muhamedanergrupper m.fl., som for tiden ulykkeligvis tillades at oversvømme landene i den kulturkreds, hvortil Grundtvigs fædreland hører. Man kan blot tænke på Interpols aktiviteter eller på tilfælde, hvor de samme udlændingefamilier forskaffer sig mangedobbeltforsørgelser i form af samtidig socialhjælp fra flere steder.

En yderligere sandsynliggørelse af, at dette forslag er den rette vej frem er, at Ninn-Hansen (C) ikke synes om det. Han mener, at det er synd for de stakkels fremmede. Selv om der jo ingen ulemper overhovedet er ved at afgive sit fingeraftryk.

Wednesday, was one of the strangest traffic days I have ever seen. I needed to go to a specific section of Airplane Land and the parking was non existent. It looked like 5 Woodstock’s going on at once. The problem was no rock and roll. Every place you looked humans in large numbers and enough vehicles to open an auto assembly plant. I parked so far from the first place I needed to go, I had to take a plane to get me to the exact location.

The weather was fantastic and the Grateful Dead photos from the Rock Tent Vault made everything cool again. It is Part 3 and you’ll enjoy the Grateful Dead on tour. As always the boarding information is below.

De skal ud, skal de

Muslimer over hele verden har bragt sig selv i søgelyset med deres lederes stærke fordømmelse og kollektive dødsdom over Rushdie og hans forelæggere.

Allerede den 11. marts 1985 forklarede Mogens Glistrup indgående, at én af Danmarks nye sager på den nødvendige dagsorden for opryddelse og reetablering af ordnede forhold var en afklaring af problemerne omkring flygtningeloven af 1983. Det vakte en del fourer.

Det samme gjorde efterfølgende udtalelser på et pressemøde på Christiansborg i 1988 og valgresultatkommentarer i TV den 10. maj 1988.

Krarup og Bradford
Pastor Søren Krarup skrev for år tilbage en artikel om moskeerne i Bradford, England, hvori han sammenfattede de problemer, som den engelske by ville løbe ind i, alene som følge af den store muslimske koncentration.

Bradford var den første by, hvor yderliggående muslimer fandt det betimeligt at manifestere utilfredshed med Rushdies bog "De Sataniske Vers" ved på demokratisk vis at afbrænde den i byens gader. Lignende hændelser fandt sted i Pakistan og Indien (Rushdies hjemland) og i Teheran bragte en vis ayatollah sig i fokus ved at afsige en dødsdom over forfatteren, der efter ayatollahens og hans mullahers opfattelse havde bespottet profeten Muhammed og hans dusin koner. Den dødsdom er allerede efterhånden historie.

Fire år skulle gå
Og i Danmark, hvor ingen jo i den kolde marts 1985 turde tage Glistrup alvorligt, bølgede fire år senere 3.000 småsure muslimer gennem Københavns gader med krav om forbud mod udgivelsen af De Sataniske Vers. Til det havde Politikens chefredaktør Herbert Pundik nogle særdeles rammende bemærkninger, ligesom formanden for forfatterforeningen havde det.

Denne sag er ikke om, hvorvidt Rushdie burde have skrevet denne bog eller ikke og dermed sparet os - Vesten - for en bunke besvær, eller om, hvorvidt bogen "spotter" en ekstremistisk despots og hans viljeløse disciples tolkninger af Allahs egne ord i en bog ved navn Koranen. Dette drejer sig fundamentalt om den vestlige verdens klippefaste tro på retten til at tænke, tale og skrive under ansvar, herunder også udgive litterære værker.

Det er ingen uenige om. Det hele er et spørgsmål om, hvem man vil give ret i det. Såvel Krarup som Glistrup så rigtigt, da de advarede mod invasionen af flygtninge, ikke mindst fra de muslimske lande, men det var - og er - ikke god tone at give dem ret heri. Så for den kultiverede magtelite, der har samlet sig i Danmark, har ayatollah Khomeinis og Salman Rushdies mellemværende været en ikke så ringe anledning til på lærd vis, at konstatere, at nuvel, der er måske lidt problemer med denne flygtningeklump.

Pludselig så de alle lyset
Om det så er Ishøjs borgmester Per Madsen fra Det autoriserede danske Socialdemokrati, der pludseligt har indset, hvad i alle tilfælde hans bysbørn har haft øje for i en halv snes år og resten af Danmark næsten lige så længe: At der findes visse områder, hvor betegnelsen ghetto ligger snublende nær. Et fænomen, vi i Danmark ikke bryder os synderligt om.

Samme konklusion er man på mirakuløs vis nået frem til i Århus, hvor nogle embedsmænd med skoler som arbejds- og ansvarsområde er nået frem til, at indvandrer- flygtningegruppen i det vestlige Århus (Gellerup i Brabrand) da vist egentligt har problemer med det danske sprog, at tilstrømningen af udlændingebørn til Nordgårdsskolen i området er større end ditto af danske børn (jf. nogen får flere børn end andre, f.eks. kaniner...) og at det giver et alarmerende problem idet nemlig det i nogle årgange bliver så godt som umuligt at opretholde dansk som hovedsprog i klassen...! (om dette, se Aktuelt mandag 06. marts 1989).

Og det er jo i grunden pudsigt, at netop mens Islams allermest nidkære forkæmpere for fuld damp påtager sig opmærksomhed for gennem en verdensomspændende aktion at genrejse den fundamentalistiske islamiske revolution og understrege dens vigtighed i en verden, der er stor og fæl og truende og som udgiver bøger om ludere med profetkonenavne, så pådrager bl.a. muslimske grupper i Danmark sig delvis utilsigtet opmærksomhed ved ikke at kunne (gide?) tale dansk, true modersmålet i institutionen for modersmålsundervisningen samt fødselsratemæssigt at overgå danskerne og oveni hatten demonstrere for forbud mod udgivelsen af en bog. Det plejer jo da at være det omvendte, der er tilfældet.

Der er et problem
Det korte af det lange er, at uanset at professionelle såbemeldte antiracister finder det utilladeligt at sige, at gruppen af flygtninge i Danmark, der finder det opportunt at bejle til ayatollahens shiamuslimske Islam, hvoraf det her i landet jf. Jyllands-Posten (se FREMSKRIDT nr. 07) befinder sig ca. 10.000, har skabt et problem. Et problem, som vi kunne have været forskånet for, som vi burde være forskånet for og som ikke hører til i dette lille land højt mod nord.

Det er urimeligt, at herboende udlændinge erklærer sig indforstået med at eksekvere en dødsdom og dermed udsætter Rushdie og en række danskere, nemlig forelæggere etc. på forlaget Samleren, der til efteråret udgiver den profane bog, for en fare, som sagkyndige udi såvel fanatiske muslimgrupper som terror, nemlig israelerne i Jaffee Institute for stratetic i Tel Aviv, beder os tage "særdeles alvorligt". De deltager også i almen knægtelse af grund(lovs) fæstede danske principper ved netop at benytte sig af disse grundlæggende rettigheder.

Og på sæt og vis er det tragisk, at hver evig eneste gang, retten til at ytre sig, virkelig bruges så det giver genlyd, så er det fordi en flok umoralske, uartikulerede høveder finder det for godt at skrige op om forbud og begrænsninger, mord, brand eller noget andet dommedagsprofetorisk.

Ak ja. Ung må Verden endnu være. Men hvor længe dog endnu..?

Senină iresponsabilitate !

Veţi observa, chiar citind textul complet, că Andrei Pleşu nu scrie absolut nimic despre abundenţa de lowbrowism pe care el, Gabriel Liiceanu şi Horia Roman Patapievici au adus-o în România. Înainte de 1989  eram stupefiat să văd cadre didactice universitare făcând în stare de beatitudine transcendentală  adnotări marginale pe paginile Jurnalului de la Păltiniş, o biată carte de anecdote.

En Glostrup`er giver følgende tre oplysninger:

Tyrkiet ønsker nu nok heller ikke at deltage i at beskytte unge, der flygter fra den Iranske hær og militærtjeneste, og dermed støtte mennesker, der bryder Iran`s love. Ja, det har vide perspektiver også i forbindelse med vor flygtningelov.

2. Nær familie til mig bor p.t. på 4. år i Indien i forbindelse med et fabriksprojekt. De fortæller, at man er ved at dø af grin over i Indien og Sri Lanka, at vi tager folk ind i Danmark, der blot vil bruge vores sociale system. Flere "rejsebureauer" tjener tykt på menneskeflugter. I Indien og Sri Lanka er der mennekser, der har flere penge end Danmark er værd, men de drømmer ikke om i deres vildeste fantasi, at bruge een rupi på at hjælpe andre, - men de er skam glade for det de vestlige lande sender ned i u-landshjælp, for den hjælp administreres af dem - velhaverne.

3. Venner, der er i det engelske diplomati fortæller iøvrigt, at USA håndplukker de mennesker, de hjælper ud af lejrene - og de plukker først! Dem med god uddannelse (der vil kunne forsørge sig selv), dem med familie i USA, dem der er sunde og raske".

I don't know how much longer the 'Big Unit' will pitch, but if he makes it through one more season after this one he is a lock for 300 career wins and if he can hold on for 2 more years he has an outside shot at 5,000 strikeouts too.

Even though the probability of him pitching until he is 46 years old is not very likely, it does display how solid of a performer he has been throughout his career.  Had it not been for the 2003 and 2007 seasons in which he was injured, he would easily have captured the 300 win and 5,000 strikeout milestones already.

So why no love for 'The Big Unit'??  You can find some pretty nice sized lots on Ebay of his rookie cards for well under $1.00 per card.

Why not invest a little money in a 1st ballot Hall of Famer, that should have 300 career wins and is 2nd in all-time strikeouts??  A pitcher like this will not come around too often...

How did the holiday go?  I hope getting back to work or school won't be too much of a drag.  I have something that should help.  Since there have been numerous requests for Grateful Dead pictures from the Rock Tent Vaults, I thought this would be the perfect time.  We start a Grateful Dead Section called "Eyes Of The World."  Part 1 of the journey begins now!
